The assistant was very helpful, looking for availability in store.

the person how served me was very friendly and knew exactly what I needed she took time to listen to what I needed and even offered to order the dvd in for me then informed me of the ability to deliver strait to me door which I was unaware off
her polite and friendly manner made my shopping experiance a very pleasant one

HMV- what a joke.
On Saturday (9th march) I rang ring and reserve to reserve a copy of Neon Genesis Evangelion HMV Exclusive on blu ray. It showed that there was a limited stock available in Gateshead Metro Centre HMV store. I was happy about it, so even tho I had cold and cough I took a bus and went for a 40 minutes journey (one way). When I arrived at shop a copy was reserved, but it wasn’t an edition I asked for. Needless to say I didn’t buy it. I was mislead by your website and your services. I will be closing my hmv account and I’ll never shop with you again.
Very unprofessional. And then they send me an email saying “Sorry for the inconvenience “. What a joke.

We would always recommend when calling our Ring & Reserve services, double checking any information with them before reserving. We also have barcode numbers on all of our online listings which our team can use to ensure they are reserving the correct item for you. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Huge shout out to Mason in the Gateshead Metro centre branch for ordering my 4k. They had sold out in store but he checked online and it was in stock, ordered and paid at the till and 2 days later in arrived.

No item, lots of “how is your item”
Ordered this item, I have received a “your item has been despatched” email, and nothing to say it has been received at the store, have had a mailer stating hope you’re enjoying your item and then showing other products, and now this asking how we did! Still no item or email to come collect from the store of my choosing

Weird that your website lets me check stock in local stores but if I order I have to wait for it to be delivered instead of just click and collect from that store.
