The staff who sold me some bonsai trees was friendly his name was ewan .gave me some details on the trees but advised go on line for more details that I did now from Sunday my tree is looking a million

I have been coming to this store for a while now and I am very impressed. The staff are always helpful and give great advice on products. Dave ( with glasses ) is a great guy very helpful and funny and soraya brilliant customer service a credit to homebase will definitely be going back

Great Customer Service
We were served by Soraya who was very helpful and gave us great tips on keeping the Olive Tree healthy

We bought a keter storage unit reduced by 15% which is great but there was a note on the display saying 10% off when spending £100 + .
We asked the assistant and they said no it didn't apply. I find this disgusting tbh. False representation and no reason why.

Following my 1 star review below I am happy to report that the issue has now been resolved swiftly and efficiently by Store Manager Dave Gilbert. A sincere apology was given, together with a partial refund and a free tin of paint. Thank you Dave, my faith has been restored and the 5 stars are directly for you and your prompt handling of the issue. Kind Regards

their website, on Saturday 29th June 2024, we 'secured' 2 pots of 2 5lt Cuprinol Seagrass Garden Shades fence paint, from the Selly Oak Birmingham branch of Homebase, so that we could take advantage of the buy one get one half price offer. Full payment was taken from my card. The website said it would hold our order for 5 days (yeah right) When we went to collect them the next day, they said they only had one and that they had phoned me to tell me they only had one. I DID NOT receive any such call! So in effect we paid more for the one that it would have cost us at B&Q. More fool us to venture from B&Q, we won't be making that mistake again.

Thank you Soraya for all of your help selecting our gazebo and outdoor sofa! She was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed for a speedy process.

Soraya approached us & asked us if we needed any help. She then went above & beyond with her customer service which was most welcome & helped you earn £48 from our visit. As a suggestion it would be helpful to have sample pots for fence paint?

Selly oak branch 21/6/24 16:00 bought 5 rolls of turf.

The turf was yellow where there was grass and grey and offensive smelling in large patches. The rolls fell apart as I tried to lay them. I had wonderful turf from bournvile garden centre last week but they had run out.
