Homebase - Rugby レビュー 

I wished to purchased a very heavy terracotta plant pot. It was far too heavy for me to move. I approached a young man who couldn’t have been more helpful with the purchase and installing it safely in my car. Sandra the lady at the checkout was also thorough and helpful.

Tom at Homebase Rugby was amazing he helped above and beyond. Great customer service from him.

Placed order online (2items) about 45mins later I received a text message saying that my order was ready to collect, drove down to Homebase went to the Click & Collect desk (easy to find) a staff member was available and she asked for the last 3 digits of my order and confirmed it was ready, she then ‘popped’ out the back and returned with my order in about a minute. Very impressed with the service received it’s so quick and easy

Easy to order all items online.
All my my items were ready and waiting on a trolley for me to collect. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Ordering was great and straightforward - issue was in store where the three Homebase staff ignored me whilst they chatted amongst themselves. What appeared to be a trainee tried to help and other two were dismiss when he asked a question. Customer service needs improving :(

Friendly and Helpful. Never really used Homebase much in the past but have to say service is very good. Staff are polite and they have what you need.

Easy check out and collection process

I found an item online but wasn't stocked in my nearest Homebase.
I drove out to the next Homebase depot
I came to ask for help at the clik and collection point desk.
Was served by a professional and sincere member of staff named Josh who explained to me that the product had certain parts stolen and was sold cheaper in store.
But he also recommended me another brand which is similar to what I was purchasing but it didn't have the pros of it being the best.
So I said I would like to purchase this product which I wanted.
But the main product which would run the item which I bought is a battery-powered Bosch lawn mower.
He redirected me to another Homebase store but it was further away to home.
So he suggested to buy my product online and have it delivered to my home address and getting the full package deal which originally I was after.
He explained also I would get a further reduction if I was to set up an account on the Homebase page.
So I did what he said and I purchased it online and will get delivered soon .
Happy with his explanation and further knowledge and a great guy thank you Josh for you sincere professionalism and expertise. :)

It was a poor service had to wait for about 10 minutes after asking somebody in the end I went on the microphone myself and asked for someone to come to the click and collect
Will not be ordering from there again, and the lady was very ignorant like I just woke her up

Received text that my order was ready and it certainly was and got the goods and the service was excellent from the young man who I believe was called Costa extremely polite and friendly.

Very convenient to be able to shop ‘click and collect’. The person who served me was SO helpful. I had picked up a couple of other items too while I was in store and she offered to take payment for these at the collection point, alerting me to the fact that one of my items was a BOGOF offer which I hadn’t noticed, and waited while I nipped back to pick up another one. She then put my heavy ordered items on a trolley and came out with me to my car and helped me put them in the car. She was so friendly and went above and beyond. Definitely makes me more than happy to use that store again.

I have difficulty walking, but I made my way to the Click and Collect desk, and then had difficulty attracting a member of staff to assist me.
Once I did, she was very helpful.
Perhaps a buzzer or bell to get attention would be a good idea!

Absolutely useless.

I'm from Leicester and wanted to buy 3 x BG branded outdoor sockets with LARGE push buttons. I noticed there out of stock in Leicester so paid for click and collect in Rugby (so my friend can collect and bring over). He's come back and to my shock.

A) Completely different brand (master plug)
And worst
B) Small push buttons.

I could of got them from screw fix.

Shocking Stock Control management and
A clear breach also of the law (Trades description act)

It's like buying a BMW M3 yet they give you a Skoda Sport.

I mean come on we're in 2024! If the stock of the 'as advertised item' isn't in stock, IT'S ILLEGAL TO SELL A DIFFERENT ITEM!

You as a company seriously need basic training on stock control management tied in with the website. I.e. DON'T sell items that DON'T 100% match what the customer has asked for.

A complete waste of time, I'll waste more time having to go to get a refund in Homebase Leicester.

Pre-ordered and picked up from the click and collect desk.
Everything went smoothly and with a smile.
Just what I wanted.

Went onto Home are website, good selection of garden tools. Chose the soil rake & sieve we wanted. Good information & delivery/collection options. Selected our store -Rugby-to click & collect. Had a txt to say goods ready 20 mins later. Collected them giving the code from the delivery txt at the store collection point & drove home. Easy & painless.

WARNING!!

AVOID HOMEBASE KITCHENS AT ALL COSTS!!!!

My new kitchen failed to be delivered on time, leaving me without an oven, cooker, washing machine & £450 down due to my fitters cost etc. NEVER AGAIN will I trust Homebase.

Your Customer service was nothing short of Appalling and then you tried to pass the buck!. No flexibility to commission another haulage firm to get my kitchen delivered on time and as promised.

I'm just hoping the kitchen turns up tomorrow as promised Again! Then it will be 7 days late & left me £450 out of pocket along with stress and anxiety due to Homebases complete incompetence and lack of customer care!.

Latest update! Missing parts which I've had source and pay out for, laminate floor boards that came in different thicknesses so would not sit flush to the floor and had to be relayed 3 times at another days lost labour and expense! Basically a pile of junk that most likely won't even last a year. The Rugby store manager confirmed the design / thickness of the boards had changed and been mixed up in store hence the problems!.

So angry and disappointed with Homebase its unreal, not one call from the Rugby store apologising, absolutely appalling care and after service!.

I reckon I'm around £700 plus the cost of the laminate flooring out of pocket, not to mention the stress and anxiety caused by Homebases ineptness.

Im currently waiting on hombases customer service who say they are looking into this shambolic mess, failure on their part to reasinably compensate my losses will lead me to me filing a claim through the small claims court 😡!

Dissatisfied, dissapointed and disgruntled is an utter understatement after spending a small fortune with them.

Latest update: The customer service person "molley" who claims to represent the CEO is taking no responsibility for sending out mixed thickness packs of flooring. In fact she stated " it should have been clear to me at the point of fitting that the floorings were two different thicknesses and as such the fitting should not have been completed"

Excuse me but its your responsibility to sell flooring that is not mixed up and it fit for purpose!

As a last resort I've written directly to the Homebase CEO to see if he is willing to see sense here.

If not it looks like im going to have take Homebase to court over this absolute abhorant customer service
