No ID check.

I brought something on the 29.11.24 due to the sale went to return a few of the items due to over buy. However the next day I was refused due to administration which I understand how this works. However the store had no signs of the refund policy and staff had not mentioned anything wHen purchasing the items. There was no legal notices instore. Only time it mentions the refund policy is when you purchase the item. Had I known I would not have purchased the item. I would like an £18.00 refund due to the lack of information in the store. This is extremely bad especially no signs are being put up. I have worked in stores that have gone into administration and never experienced this.
I am happy to even take this up with watch dog and send photos of what I have discovered.

Kept me up to date on delivery swift service

Very poor customer service. I gave my order number to the lady, and confirmed my name etc. She came back with one item and claimed my order was just one item. I told her that I ordered 3 items, she insisted my order was one item (as if I am deluded) and asked if I had another order number, to which I replied, No. I had to show my order confirmation email to her before she backed down. Next thing she said is that the other 2 items had been cancelled as they were not available, and I had been issued a refund. I had travelled over 11 miles to this store to collect these items, so I looked through my email and text, there was nothing about any cancellation or refund. a
As I had driven over 40 minutes to collect, I was not just going to take on what she said and then find that I had to return to the store. She eventually got on the phone to a colleague and after about 6/7 mins of speaking she went to look for and found the items, brought them and just said to me they were delivered separately, and went back to the computer. There was no apology for the lack of diligence/her misinformation and the error she made, nor for wasting my time. I said thanks and left. Amazingly appalling!

A fantastic selection of products at great prices.

I asked a man if you sold pvc to box in my radiator pipes and he proceeded to escort me to show me however, on our way a colleague told me he was leaving for the day,
The guy then said "sorry I need to speak to him he's the big boss" and left me to find the product myself!!. (Not good customer service!). I had to ask a lady who passed me on the shop floor with my enquiry. (He never bothered to come back to offer help)
I then purchased some Christmas decorations, joined the queue and the lady was serving alone and seemed very friendly, when I was next to be served, she asked me to go to the next till ready to be served (I assume to keep the queue down) But then when she served me, she took payment, just put my receipt on the counter, then returned to the initial till point to help the next customer.. I asked her, do I get any tissue to wrap my GLASS ornaments in?. She passed me some tissue paper to wrap them myself, no tape,no offer of a bag either!.
All in all, my visit was a very poor experience and I sadly,I won't be back. I work in retail myself and totally appreciate how imperative great customer service is. If I gave this kind of poor service, I would be given a talking to!.
I'm very disappointed about today's visit and had planned to speak to customer services, This qr code has saved me a job but I certainly would welcome a response.

Walked in and needed help with laminate flooring with how much I needed. The gentleman gladly helped me with what I required, came home and ordered online, great delivery service also.Was kept informed of every step of my delivery.

Today in morning I came to Homebase garden centre looking for special flowers take to Cemetery on my late mummy’s grave.
And friendly staff MAJA came and help me to chose plants. She very helpful and kind person💝Great customer service, thanks MAJA

Last week I went to Homebase garden centre looking for shrubs for my garden.
Friendly staff Maja came and help me found right plants and pots.
I was amazed with the customer service she provided.

At first l found the website a little difficult to place a Click & Collect order.
The Click & Collect service was excellent.
Friendly, helpful staff and at last Dogs are allowed. I found the store clean and tidy. An enjoyable visit.
