The team at Horizon Currency are all very responsive and helpful. We mainly communicated with Louisa and our experience with her was incredible. We are very happy with the service and plan to always work with Horizon Currency going forward. Once you use their service you will never want to go back to sending money the traditional way bank to bank as you pay a lot more fees and your exchange rate is unpredictable at best. Being able to set your rate means you can wait to send money when the rate is favorable. By far one of the best services I have used to send/receive money to from Europe/US.

Reassurance for those new to transferring larger amounts, professional, patient, friendly and fast. Spoke to the good folks at Horizen one evening after business hours, made a spot deal, (for an excellent exchange rate). My money from UK bank to Horizon third party ring-fenced UK account. Money then quickly transferred to my Spanish account less than 24 hours later. Great service and people.

Louisa and her team went above and beyond to make sure that a transfer for a property purchase went ahead. Our Uk bank were particularly difficult which almost lost us the property but the speed and attention to detail that Horizon gave us, was above and beyond and saved the deal. I had never heard of this company until last Wednesday night and it seemed to offer good rates GBP to euros. I had always dealt with WorldFirst but they stopped their business for personal transfers. I got in touch with Horizon and spoke personally to Louisa Ballard and Anne. They were very professional and patient with me and explained what I had to do step by step. I transferred £25000 to Horizon on Thursday and £18000 on Friday morning. I thought I would receive the funds in my Spanish bank account next Tuesday but I received notification from my Spanish bank of the deposit at 2.30 pm today which is Friday 5th May. I thought Charlie’s coronation would put a spanner in the works - I couldn’t believe how quickly and smoothly this transfer was. I will definitely do future transfers with Horizon. Far better rates than xe or torfx. Thank you Anne and Louisa.

Horizon is the best currency converter company. They have the best rates and are diligent.

We sold our house in Vancouver for a ridiculously inflated sum. We moved to France and changed our CAD to euros. We then decided to move back to Canada, and needed to change our euros back again. After exchanging some CAD with another exchange agency, and exchanging euros with our bank at their Premium customer rate, we found Horizon. I wish we'd found them earlier. For these reasons:

1. The process for money exchange is super-easy and does not involve spending hours on the phone, being put on hold, losing the phone connection, and then waiting to hear the best rate available.

2. All we had to do was talk to Louise, who was always available, even outside office hours, and helped us make our decision to arrange a booking in advance for an exchange whenever our goal rate was reached. We could even change our minds and lock in at a lower rate if it felt like rates were going to move against us.

3. Louise gave us the best advice, and after we pre-booked all went super-smoothly.

4. With very little effort on my part, Louise advised me, and set up my transaction so that as soon as the best rate was posted, the system would catch it, at any time day or night, and book it into my account.

AND MORE/MOST: the rate of exchange I received was much more favourable than any of the other exchange companies I had dealt with before.

I was able to make my exchange at an historical high for euros to CAD without being a financal wizard.

I would recommend Horizon unequivocally for speed of response, quality of advice, ease of processing, and the best available rate of exchange, above any of the other exchange avenues I've pursued over the past 2 years.

I was quite worried about changing over my euros into sterling as it was a lot of money to sort out. As I’m 78, I needed help from my family to do this, but also Ann was on the phone helping me every step of the way. She was so patient and kind with me through this whole procedure. The best service periods.
highly recommend the service, if you are in doubt about exchanging process or security like I was, then don't.
I was quite hesitant to exchange large sum through a broker, I was wrong, it's very simple and takes the hustle of the having to worry about rates or security.
I got thorough explanation of the process before hand, and was accompanied throughout the transaction, luckily the market moved quite fast in my favor, and I locked the rate that i asked for, things went very quickly form there, and the transaction was completed in less than 2days.
