The most disgraceful company I have


The most disgraceful company I have dealt with.. Does not look after their customers, does not make any effort to assist when things goes wrong. Car went with a simple repair and got out with more issues and parts missing, unbelievable. As soon as they get the money forget guys, you are on your own to get the mess resolved. Please if you ever need to deal with them please avoid the quickest as possible because at the end you will regret it so much. Mark my words. I do not normally leave reviews this negative but I felt like I need to warn everyone about this people.. Lau

Stole the money for total loss

Our Car was written off in 2021, we only discovered this in 2023 when we went to sell it.
Turns out Horizon took the pre accident value money for the car (£9000ish) from the insurance, repaired it for about £2000 and then gave us the car back, which then had a write off marker attached.

Complaints get nowhere, they won't communicate, car is worthless.

Don't touch them.

An elderly relative of mine is being hassled by this Company

An elderly relative of mine is currently being hassled by this company following an accident from 3 years ago re storage charges. She like others phoned them in error due to their paid for ads on google - she is in her 70’s and was at the time of the accident in shock and rang what she believed to be her insurers. As far as she is concerned her car was written off and the matter closed years ago. This is ongoing so watch this space.

Accidentally called this company


Cancelled now thank you.Accidentally called this company instead of my own thanks to their bumped up Google ad and the sun shining on my phone so couldn't see that I didn't scroll passed properly. They took all my details and I sent a link with photos of my Accident. My phone provider was down so when I managed to get hold of my insurance company guess what. I hadn't made a claim. I'm currently on hold again to cancel for over 45mins and keep getting cut off..the woman emailedand said my claim will be cancelled so it better be cos ive already spoken too my proper insurance. Absolutely FAKE COMPANY AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. AND CANCEL MY CLAIM NOW

Many thanks for confirming your information.

Having reviewed your file whilst we appreciate all feedback, we do believe your review is unjust and not a fair reflection of the service provided.

We provided your partner with a non-fault claims service that she appeared to be satisfied with, an issue arose recently in relation to funds being paid by your finance company to ourselves, without our knowledge.

We for a number of weeks attempted to liaise directly with your finance company to confirm the payment date & amount to validate that we had received the funds, you were fully aware of this and after we followed this up with you at regular intervals, you provided your finance company with authority to speak with us.

Once we had confirmed the amount, we were then provided with incorrect information surrounding the payment method which led us to believe your finance company had informed you incorrectly.

Your finance company then confirmed a different payment method with a 2-week date range of when they believed they raised payment.

Our accounts team worked tirelessly within the date range provided in order to identify the date of the transaction & amount and then validate it was the correct transaction, this took circa 1 week once we had the correct information.

Once all of these steps had been taken we confirmed that payment would be raised within 48 hours.

We did not benefit in any way from the incorrect payment, nor did we request the payment in the first instance, we did not make any promises we have not kept, nor did we lie. We would also add you did not constantly chase us for money without knowing that we needed information from your finance company as we had no record of these funds ever being sent to us, ironically your finance company on multiple occasions informed us of the wrong information resulting in a full circle process.

Whilst we appreciate that you may not agree with the above, should our handling of the claim be reviewed by the ombudsman service we are more than content to release all of our recorded calls & emails whereby we worked diligently to resolve this for you.

Like most businesses, we don't always get it right but in this instance, we are satisfied that the service we provided was of a high standard.

At first I was very frustrated

At first I was very frustrated, nobody new what they were doing. Then josh got in touch. He helped all the way keeping me in touch at every move. He is a kind thoughtful young man. My car has been done beautifully. So happy with work.

When I rang up about my car being in an accident Josh Raygada was assigned to my case ,he has been amazing all the way threw, he explained everything that was happening and always got back to me without fail if I asked any questions.
Josh was always polite and curtious on every call I made to him, nothing was to much for him.
I cannot praise this man enough.

Our review of your file is that your vehicle was not MOT'd at the time of the incident as such we were unable to provide you with any services, we therefore advised you to instruct your insurer whom may be able to assist under the terms of your insurance policy.

We then proceeded to liaise with your insurer to ensure they had fully taken over the claim before proceeding to close our files.

My car was in accident just before my wedding . They even up graded my hits car for wedding. They handled my case excellent and kept me up to date . Josh was excellent and very helpful cheers 🍻

Our vehicle was recovered after an accident and dealt with by Millie who was superb in dealing with the assessment process. Always called back with updates when promised and took ownership of from start to finish.

Charlotte at Horizon Vehicle


Charlotte at Horizon Vehicle Management was so helpful and efficient when it came to responding to my email about not being able to upload photos for my vehicle repair. She explained why this was and arranged contact with a body repairs shop as soon as we had finished the conversation. Great friendly customer service. Thank you!

Everything was good

Everything was good, update, other subcontractors involved, communication, etc. but it took them about 3 months to be able to get the repair authorised. The car had a small dent in the rear bumper so not a big deal for driving but it is still a concern.

ZERO STARS- problem resolved though, finally

After dealing with this company since April, here's the update. I had the ombudsman review them and was advised in the first instance to accept the £172 they still owe me and have said they will pay. This is the last I heard of them: (direct copy from email from not allowed to name although it’s been there 2 years
 ) - 'Firstly please accept my apologies for any offence I may have caused in relation to your relationship with the driver/claimant, this was not my intent and was a poorly judged assumption on my part.

In relation to the disposal of the vehicle, the vehicle was disposed off with full authority and therefore no fraud has been committed, in addition it is not unusual for vehicles to be disposed of without a V5 Document this occurs almost daily in the motor industry.

In relation to conversations that have occurred with not allowed to name we have previously refunded the administration fee that we charge for the disposal of any vehicle. It is always our intent to ensure a vehicle is not disposed off for below the value quoted by a suitably qualified engineer, however as the vehicle is sent to auction there is always a risk that a figure may not be achieved.

In order to bring the matter to a close I am content to instruct our accounts department to raise a final payment of £172.00.
Some of this contradicts the phone calls I had with them. However, they have ignored this and just not paid me this money... As expected. Still, at least it's not in the thousands as some people who contacted me have told me. I will now have to go to the small claims court probably. Thanks Horizon - you not only lie to customers, and try to make them think things were said which were not, and I have evidence, but you keep money you say you actually will pay! Made a stressful situation a real nightmare. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! EDIT In regards to the response below- I’m not sure arguing with me over the telephone constitutes ‘multiple attempts’ to resolve. However, NOW, after 5 months, and taking advice as set out here, which I know was entirely appropriate, I believe we have reached a solution, and when I receive the payment you have now agreed to again, ( sent details straight away over a week ago) I will be happy to place a new review or update this one as the job I expected to be done in April will then be complete. Thank you.

Another update to this case: Received this on 28th September: Good Afternoon Virginia,

We refer to your correspondence below.

I can confirm that your details have been sent to the relevant department accordingly.

I am currently awaiting confirmation that the payment has been raised accordingly. Upon receipt I will be in touch to advise you when the payment is expected to be with you.

Another update: The response below, people, is a total fabrication. They NEVER attempted on 'multiple occasions' to rectify this. In fact they ignore, lie and abuse. I contacted the ombudsman before they think I did to have look at this, and the police were aware, as are real insurance companies who are collecting evidence. I am not the only one. I assume the 'excellent' reviews are by members of the company as I have not spoken to ONE satisfied person. It's now 6 months since they agreed to pay what they owe me. I tried, horizon, to be reasonable. I just wanted the payment you said you would pay me. And there are a lot of us who have experienced this massive rip off. However, I wanted to keep my word and amend this to say after 7 months, I DID eventually get the rest of the money I was promised. So our business is concluded.

Amazing Experience

Amazing experience with HVM assist. After having an incident which was not my fault at all they were quick to get my vehicle into a bodyshop and also arrange a hire vehicle. Cannot thank the team enough!!
