Excellent range and fantastic service from Harry at the St Enoch, Glasgow branch. He was patient, letting me try on one item after another until I found what I liked. No pressure or hurrying along. Perfect service

I had a really disappointing experience at the H. Samuel store in Buchanan Galleries. The staff showed little to no interest in customer service, which made the visit feel unwelcoming and frustrating, and ultimately led me to visit a different branch.

In contrast, when I went to the St. Enoch Centre branch, the experience was completely different. From the moment I walked in, I received a warm welcome. The staff were engaging, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to understand what I was looking for and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted.

The difference between the two stores was clear. The staff at Buchanan Galleries could learn a lot from the St. Enoch branch, where the service was excellent.

Recently visited H. Samuels intending to buy a new gold chain for a locket due to the small clasp on the chain breaking. A polite young staff member assisted and consulted a colleague named David.
David examined the broken chain and offered to repair it, which pleasantly surprised me.
I was pleased with the outcome and praise David's professionalism and overall service.

David from H. Samuel in St Enoch centre was so lovely and helpful. He took the time to explain different types of chains to me and how to look after my silver, white gold and pearl jewellery. He then offered to clean a silver necklace and earrings I had brought along with me for free. Super service, made my day. Thanks again David!! X

Recently went to the Glasgow store in st Enoch centre with my daughter who was looking for a watch for her 17th birthday. The staff were fantastic and very attentive, I hate walking into stores and nobody pays you any attention this was a welcome surprise. My daughter got a beautiful watch, we will definitely be returning thank you!!

Just like to give a shout out to this branch. Yulia, a lovely girl who was very attentive with my particular requirements for a special 60th gift for my sister and a wee treat for myself. And lately Jenna who took on the aftersales role with patience, kind words & always with a smile. Thank you 😊

having visited your St Enoch Centre store on several occasions, we have always had excellent customer service from all the staff.
However on the 30/03/2025 David was absolutley outstanding with the advice and service he provided for my partner and myself.

St Enoch's Glasgow H.Samuel Branch, Gareth came to the rescue, my partner bought an engagement ring as a surprise, however it was the wrong size. He sourced the correct size for us within 24hrs from another store. Will definitely go back to him for wedding rings. Keep up the good work Gareth and team.

Recently my wife and I visited the Samuel store in St Enoch centre Glasgow. We ended up purchasing two items at a good price. The service we received from the staff, particularly the manager was excellent. All the staff were professional and helpful. Can recommend this store.

Awful experience with H Samuel St Enoch Glasgow. They offered me 2 free rhodium platings due to miss selling me what I thought was a platinum engagement and wedding band. Turns out engagement ring was white gold. Less than year later, one of the diamonds came out of my ring. The ring got repaired and was rhodium plated along with my wedding band free of charge. Following year I used one of my free platings. Long story short when I took ring for second agreed plating the Manager of the store mislead my husband and I asked us to provide proof of the free plating as he hadn’t heard of it. Proof was provided he agreed to do plating the following week along with a discounted price to have my eternity ring done (baring in mind they already plated rings year before) returned to the store having took time off work The manager refused to rhodium plate my rings, this was after we provided proof of purchase, repairs and the signed agreement by the store for the plating they offered. I was humiliated and embarrassed, after providing their agreement and this being my 3rd time to the shop regarding this, I was made to feel like I was lying because the member of staff who issued the agreement no longer worked for the store. After 30 year of buying from H Samuel NEVER AGAIN!!

The staff were so helpful and patient not rushed at any time and I eventually found exactly what I was looking for so made the purchase which was handled professionally with everything explained to me about the insurance available wasn’t pushed but decided to go it. Would definitely recommend that you shop on the high street rather than online as you can see what you are getting for your money not like the so many rip off sites online that don’t provide any refunds if you are not happy with the product. Expensive mistake.
