Great team that genuinely wants you to succeed.

I had my first idea pitch with Samsher, Gautam, and Karamjot, and they were incredibly supportive throughout the process. They were easy to work with and went above and beyond to help refine and strengthen my pitch ahead of meeting investors.

As a first-time founder raising investment, they gave me the confidence and structure I needed. By the time I presented, I felt in control and well-prepared, which made a huge difference.

The outcome? I successfully secured investment, and the process itself was straightforward, transparent, and easy to understand.

I’d highly recommend them to any founder looking to raise capital, especially if it’s your first time.

For context, our business is myflatmate.com - a compatibility-based matching platform for tenants.

We where approached to join their investor portal. To be fair they did source us 1 investor but the term sheet is where it all fell down for us.

For transparency if you go ahead with HUKM and they source you investment this is how they structure it -

If you are raising say 100k, they will only get you 30k investment and make the rest up from 70k of tech credit from their team. So basically they get equity in your business without giving you cash or allowing you to invest the funds the way you want, even if you have a tech team already.

Out of the 30k cash they have a monthly advisory fee of 1500 so essentially giving back half of the cash in advisor fees in one year. Not sure what the advisory fee is for as they are making you use their tech team so should already know what's going on in the business.

If you are happy with these kind of terms then yes would recommend if not then I would avoid. For me it was a hard no, as I don't want to give away my business for nothing and advisory fees should be avoided at all costs especially when the investment itself is very little.

This is not made clear at the start so just being transparent about my experience.

The team at Hukm have been central to my idea becoming reality. They have found an investor and agreed to build an app and I am very pleased with the service they have provided. They have been professional and helpful and I wouldn't be where I am today without their skills. Thank you to all the team at Hukm I am very grateful

I’ve been through nearly every accelerator program in the uk and they have been very helpful but the mentors in this company have gone above and beyond! Genuine people who you can tell they want to help us founders with a passion! 100% recommend and would definitely work with you again :)

Very good experience

I worked with Hukm last year in August and I’ve stayed in touch with a couple of the mentors who led the webinars which were so helpful and they have helped me get to the position I am in right now - I wouldn’t have all this time with my family if it wasn’t for them so a massive thank you again and I would 100% recommend any young or new founders to just get in touch and have the Hukm team onboard with you!
