Just to echo the review before me -

Set up a rule in your email client inserting their address 'huntermasonconsult.com' & 'smart-recruitment' and set them straight to delete.

I have reported them to the authorities to no avail. the above will hopefully stop anymore unwanted emails with links to 'unsubscribe' coming through

Constant spam emails from this company, nothing has changed in years. Set up a rule in your email client inserting their address 'huntermasonconsult.com' to send all their emails to spam and delete, regardless of whose neame prefixes the address. Works perfectly!

All this 'company' do, is send you 10s of spam emails every single day. Cannot block them, they'll send from a different email, unsubscribe button obviously doesn't do anything.

Harassment pure and simple.

Avoid, scam artists.

I have been using this company for over three years, despite ongoing frustrations. Throughout this period, I defended their services to my directors and fellow recruiters, even as I was repeatedly spammed—not only by unsolicited emails but also by the agents themselves. I experienced frequent instances of miscommunication, with agents following up on candidates who did not meet the basic role requirements and asking about interviews that were already scheduled.
Despite these issues, I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt.

For a long time, I assumed the recruiter I dealt with was just trying to meet challenging sales KPIs under a demanding management structure, so I empathised with him. Even after our chairman suggested I stop using their services (as their candidates were rarely well-vetted, often unaware Hunter Mason was representing them, and seldom a long-term fit), I continued working with them.

Today, however, I was shocked to receive an unprofessional, personal attack from the recruiter I had consistently defended, in response to a light-hearted email addressing yet another spam message.

Checking Trustpilot now, I see I am not alone in my experience. To say this has been disappointing is a gross understatement and this behaviour highlights why the recruitment industry sometimes struggles with its reputation.
What an absolute disgrace - it is because of savages like Hunter Mason that recruiters have the reputation they do. Disgusting.

Constant spam. Keep unsubscribing, but they ignore it. We will not employ through them on general principal.

If you want to stop spam from this company, what I did was (we were receiving 20-40 emails a day). I created a rule to quarantine all their emails so employees no longer receive them. I then checked the emails, found the email marketing service they were using, and mass-reported them with copies of the emails being sent; when they switched email marketing services, I repeated this task. Using this method, I successfully got the email marketing company being used to remove their account due to abuse of their service each time. I also reported them to our email gateway provider with proof that despite multiple attempts to unsubscribe staff from Hunter Mason's mailing list, they ignore these and continue to send emails to employees. We have not received any emails from this company in over 6 months. They are cancer, and the only way you will win against their scummy email practices is to fight back.

This company daily send us spam emails daily, I unsubscribe daily and another email pops up daily, this is wrong and boring!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - SCAM

Continually send spam emails, unsubscribe doesn't work and change the spamming service fairly often so also difficult to block. Hopefully the ICO catches up with them soon!

Despite multiple requests to stop contacting us, Smart-Recruitment/Hunter-Mason continues to reach out, ignoring our clear instructions. This unprofessional behavior is intrusive and disrespectful of our boundaries. Based on this experience, we would not recommend their services.

It's a scam website. Block and report.

Constantly being bombarded by their spam. I have received 13 emails from them just over the weekend and they still keep coming now on a Monday morning after clicking on the 'unsubsrcibe' link numerous times. This has been happening for around two years now. It seemed to have stopped for quite some time, but it's back to the way it was now. They keep sending emails from the same email address, but make it look like they are all different people.

My experience is the same as all those here that list them as spammers who will not accept Stop requests, these seem to increase the number of emails received. I have today noticed my Firewall reports their site as a possible source of Ransomware, so beware.

Why is the ICO not acting ????

These are not a recruitment agency they continuously send emails even to thier competitors. they spam email companies constsantly even when you have asked them to stop several times.

Continuously being pestered by this company. I have asked them numerous times to stop spamming us but I still receive about 10 pointless e-mails a day. Any one who is considering taking on staff from this company should think twice. AVOID.

I have made a complaint to the ICO and would suggest anyone else reading this do it too. They have the power to deal with this kind of blatant disregard.

Trying to unsubscribe is futile.
Bombarded with irrelevant candidates for irrelevant roles.
You try to unsubscribe and they never do.
You even speak to them asking to be unsubscribed, and they never do.
Reported as a scam.
Why would anyone in their right mind use this company for any recruitment. An absolute shower.

Numerous phone calls, clicks to the unsubscribe button and a complaint to the ICO.

They ignore requests to be removed from mailing lists and the calls are clearly answered by people who have all this before.

I am getting 10 spam emails every day from this company, the unsubscribe button does not work.

Infact when you try to unsubscribe you get more emails, I have now resorted to giving them a fart phone call on a private number every time i get a spam email.

I suggest everyone does this as well, they won't be long stopping this if they get constant fart calls ;-)
