Disgraceful
I don't know why this company is still in business, absolutely disgraceful!
I am a 76 year old man with a heart condition who lives on acreage, my house is on a hill 700 meteres up from the gate.
My bulky 40kg parcel was left outside my property line down by the gate in clear view of all passing traffic.
The driver made no effort to see if I was home nor did he drive up my driveway. As I have no one to help me I had to get the parcel to my house by myself.
Not happy!

Dumped damaged package on the street
This person rang my unit and said there was a package for me, and I told him to wait for me, I would be there in a minute. It literally took less than a minute for me to come down in lift but he had already taken off, dumping the DAMAGED package outside, basically on the street. And this was a heavy, hefty package, and damaged too so the rails were coming out as I attempted to move the package. In addition, there was never any meaningful tracking available on website, but once it was “delivered”, this person logged it as “signed”, which is basically a blatant lie. I NEVER SIGNED FOR IT. Absolutely appalling service!

A totally unreliable company
A totally unreliable company, they have promised to pick up my parcel on numerous occasions over the past 9 days and not once did a courier driver show up, Hunter Express should be renamed ‘Hunter Excuse’ , Unfortuntely I can see from the multitude of negative reviews that this company have a long standing history of providing very BAD level of service, best try another logistics company.
You can't fix STUPID
I had a very large item delivered and the delivery guy propped it up right at my front door. In full view of the street!
I'd only been at work 20 minutes before my husband called to inform me. I had to drive back home to get the delivery inside my house before somebody stole it.
What infuriated me most was that it could have been hidden behind my verandah wall, or better still, behind the gate at the side of my house - WHICH I had requested when the app asked me for an alternative place to put item if nobody is home. This clearly was ignored too. Just total incompetence and stupidity by this company. I'll never use them again.
Worst transport company ever
Worst transport company ever. In past 50 years of dealing with transport companies. By far these guys are the worst. They left a glass item (marked fragile) flat on the driveway very close to the road. I somehow avoided driving on it.

I purchased a E-bike from Sydney. Unfortunately Hunter Express was the courier. During my shipping I noticed all the bad reviews about Hunter Express in Melbourne. No good with Bulky items, I notified the seller about this and he took action to find out what was happening with my delivery because it was held at the depot for several days that got me concerned. On delivery day the seller contacted me because he saw the picture of the box badly damaged and informed me not to receive the item and send it back to him and the seller said he will refund my money back. I spent $1881 and thanks to Hunter Express for this big headache. Make sure you check and disagree with sellers who use Hunter Express. My tracking number was TBP164134

Zero stars if I could. Absolutely gutted. I ordered a dining table one month ago from Amart. Their site said 14 day delivery (it was coming East to West). It’s been a month but yesterday I finally got the email saying your driver will be there in an hour. We have no table so I was excited. Finished work early. No delivery. Tracked the driver and his vehicle sat solid in Armadale for over 3 hours. Then around 7pm it said my package went back to the depot. This morning I have emailed and called and spoke to a customer service person who said the driver must have run out of time and they would prioritise my delivery today and someone would call back. I’ve had no call back or communication and no delivery. It’s almost 5pm so I assume it’s not coming. It’s not on. The ups and downs of it’s coming to now zero communication is awful. Absolutely appalling service from the Hunter Express Brisbane office. Our item has been sitting in their Brisbane warehouse for over two weeks with no delivery, despite repeated calls and us remaining patient and polite throughout.
We were advised there was a supposed “attempted delivery” a week after the item first arrived. This is categorically untrue. We have multiple cameras covering our driveway and letterbox, and an intercom system that records and rings multiple mobile phones. There was no truck, no attempt, no contact.
After querying this, one genuinely helpful staff member confirmed that their own tracking showed the van never even made it to our suburb—it stopped about 8km away. We were also told that deliveries to our suburb only occur on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Fast forward to this week: we were assured yesterday that the item was “definitely going out today.” When we called today to confirm, the response was a blunt “Oh, that’s still here… might go out tomorrow.” Which, if the earlier advice about delivery days is correct, is complete nonsense.
To make matters worse, today’s customer service representative was extremely rude, dismissive, and downright obnoxious.
We have escalated this through the company we purchased the product from, with no success so far.
This company is disorganised, unreliable, and misleading. If you value your time, money, or sanity, do not use Hunter Express. We certainly never will again, and cannot recommend them under any circumstances.
Appalling Unprofessionalism, didn't bother to collect my package
I booked my pick up, left very clear instructions and spent the day sitting at my front door, which is all clear glass.
The driver never bothered to collect my package, never even got out of the car.
Just sent me an email with a picture of their car dashboard, saying "Today's pickup has been unsuccessful" well of cource they will always be unsuccessful if you never bother to show up to collect the package.
