I had a life changing experience at Iboga Temple. I chose Iboga Temple because I felt more comfortable traveling to Canada than Mexico and because Adele is one of the only (maybe the only?) person to offer pre-initiation ceremonies for women.
Adele has shared and single accommodations. She offers delicious, freshly made meals.
Adele has dedicated her life to helping people heal with Iboga. You can tell her heart is in it. As Iboga revealed things to me, Adele was there to help me understand it but she will not do the work for you and if you aren’t ready to face yourself, that can be a painful thing to endure.
Since my ceremonies, I have been able to let go to so much that was weighing me down. My perception of myself is clear. I know who I am, and why I am here. The Bwiti teachings at fire talk and Adele’s medical background were the perfect match for me to unlock so much of myself in the ceremonies.

From the moment I spoke with Adele , with ease I felt so comfortable expressing what I wanted to release during my Iboga ceremony . She provides a safe environment to truly work through everything, open conversation , a peaceful vibe , healthy food and wisdom all contribute to this experience of growth , it is truly a blessing the work she is doing

I have been blessed to be able to work with Adele and Iboga several times over the past decade, and my most recent experience was excellent, as were the three sessions before.

Over the years I have received her help and guidance with the medicine for relapse prevention when I was struggling with dry drunk syndrome and childhood trauma, for mental health issues, and most recently for physical healing of a particularly painful nerve disorder. I have also seen the medicine and her work wonders for several other friends of mine for a myriad of issues during this time as well.

I am now four days out from my most recent session at the time of this review. I am in significantly less pain than I was before, I have a much sunnier outlook on my future, I am functioning better at work, and I am still easily able to abstain from leaning on pain medications to get me through my days. And I even figured out how I got myself into my current mess so I can avoid falling into it again in the future. How about that right?

5/5 would and do strongly recommend. Would be at least a 6/5 if I were able to go higher.

This was an amazing experience. Adele’s guidance, natural nurturing nature and love was like nothing we’ve ever received especially in such a vulnerable state. I highly recommend this journey however it’s not for the faint of heart, just know you’re in very good hands with Adele and trust the medicine it’s life changing.

My experience with Adele and Iboga Temple surpassed any expectations I had. It was a miracle that I was able to attend and experience the ceremony and retreat with 4 others. This experience was life changing for me. I felt safe and cared for throughout my entire experience. Adele’s attention to detail and confidentiality allowed my experience to be vulnerable and let me dig deep into my healing journey. The lessons and teachings I’ve received continues to filter throughout my daily life. I am forever grateful for my experience with Iboga and Adele. Highly recommend for all that want to really get to the root of their own suffering.

This is a cult. Like others said do your research as i did not. The website oversells the lush greenery. This retreat is more about Adele's control over you and changing your thinking to follow hers. Questions about why, are not tolerated. You will basically be told you are wrong for no other reason than that is the teaching. I think Adele's heart tries to be in the right place but it has been corrupted buy Iboga. During my process i saw the dark side of Iboga. At its base it is a mind control drug that wants to create a cult around it. This maybe useful for the Bwiti but in our society it just does not work.. This can br used for good but she does not. It is fall inline or you will be punished. I did not feel safe in her presence. Luckily another facilitator came on calmed the situation. I would strongly recommend to find another retreat as the openness and honest that is spoken about is not followed by Adele.

Words cannot explain how incredibly life changing this medicine, the teachings, and the provider are!! Adele was very kind supportive and also strong and firm enough to help me push through my resistance. Absolutely blown away.

Never have I been sober this long and I have no desire to go back.

I went in with the hopes of quiting smoking, I came out realizing why I was, how it was destroying me, and what I truly want out of life. Now I am living a life in alignment with my souls desire and the universe is in complete collaboration with me.

My experience was incredible with the Miss Adele and the Ioboga medicine that she is trained administrator was nothing short of amazing.

She was an incredible host, she made me feel comfortable, safe, and is knowledgeable about not only the medicine but the teachings she specializes in providing.

Nothing that can be shared here by me or anyone else does the experience any justice.

I will forever be grateful to Miss Adele for being who she is and changing the trajectory of my life.

Iboga Temple changed my life.

I have sat in ceremony with Adele at Iboga Temple multiple times over the past 3 years, and I can not express my gratitude to Adele and her practice enough.

Throughout my experiences at Iboga Temple, Adele has never failed to cultivate a safe, and open space for me to learn about myself, and heal, with Iboga medicine as well as Bwiti teachings.

The ceremony space is cozy, and filled with the most intricate art, and breathtaking plants. The bedrooms are comfortable, and her space is always clean and inviting.

Throughout the years I have sat with Adele in Iboga medicine, I have experienced both private sessions as well as co-ed sessions, each journey a new learning experience. The medicine is so beautiful, in the way it caters to your precise spiritual and physical needs. There is no better provider than Adele to help you navigate what you experience going into ceremony. Her immense understanding and knowledge of the Bwiti tradition is evident in all aspects of her retreats.

Her approach to your healing is traditional, and undoubtedly effective. Before my treatments with Adele, I was suffering with extreme anxiety, depression and I didn’t have much of a will to live. The beginning of my journey in this medicine was challenging, however once I began to see through the lies and stories I had been telling myself my whole life, and with the help of Adele and the Bwiti teachings, I was able to break free of my bad habits, and negative thought processes.

Adele and this medicine saved me, it has taught me how to be present, healthy, and has improved all of the relationships I have with my loved ones - but most importantly, myself.

Thank you Iboga Temple for giving me this new chance at living.

I was very uncomfortable at Adeles house, and left after 3 days. It's a long, weird story that I don't want to go into. I'll just say check references, ask for pictures and don't just trust in someone from a website. There are reviews out there Reddit too. I assume she is trying to do the right thing with this beautiful medicine but I did not feel safe or cared for when I was there, she treated me poorly in fact. I've been to other retreats and I'm a pretty normal person. (I'm now booked at IbogaSoul so I'm still excited to do it ~with people I find nice.)
I hope she gets more honest about what her retreat is on her website- it's a small house in a neighborhood ie. and lush grounds are house plants. I also hope she doesn't treat people often the way she did me. It really threw me. But, people surprise you and no one is perfect.

Ola soul fam! I came across Iboga Temple because the co host has been my shaman for a couple of years; when I saw the above review I felt compelled to follow up with my own review of my experience.

I did not have ANY expectations going into this retreat, I didn’t even read the website before attending; all I know is I felt called to the medicine. I was one of the women, actually the only woman who had private accommodations and to be honest, this medicine is brilliant; I love and thrive on communication, of course during integration I would want to find “comfort” in a roommate… to my dismay I was alone in a room during integration and it’s in the ultimate discomfort that the magic of Iboga Happens.

The living room is an array of beautiful greenery, a jungle in a home, and it was so beautiful to integrate on the couch the next day. The host did very much advise everyone during processing and integration day they could make use of the entire space and out door deck as well.

Iboga is a root medicine, it’s Earth; its grit, its grace- it’s exactly what you need and whenever you find yourself integrating is exactly where you need to be, to work through your bullsh*t. Adele’s heart is so beautiful and caring and as a medicine woman she gives you exactly what you need during this space; I was TERRIFIED! I had no idea what to expect and yes I was shocked going from the madness of the world to a space where all electronics were handed in, all time cut off from the world (no clocks) and able to find comfort in nothing but the space, a pen and a journal- how proFOUNDLY healing.

Both medicine women offer the medicine exactly how it should be offered and only when you experience the breakthrough OF Iboga and YOUR soul will you understand the magic of every little bit of discomfort. People pay $10k+ to go to Africa to sleep on a mud floor, here you get shelter, a cozy bed, heated blankets, we were encouraged to ask for what we needed, it comes back to the medicine….

I walked out of this ceremony a changed woman; I dropped my expectations at the door and I took radical responsibility for my healing and I would have paid a million dollars for this experience.

Iboga and the medicine are their own spirit, and all of this healing can be done within a safe home, with live luscious greenery, a fur blanket and a bowl of home made soup. I found profound insight through Iboga and under the care of Adele and Rochelle and truly hope one follows their heart instead of an opinion of someone who didn’t complete the healing process. ❤️
