this platform isn't for children and it should be banned for the catfishes and the bad things people do on it you'll never have friends on there but harassment and bullying as someone who's been there from 2010-2012 all I faced on it was bad behaviours and bullying throughout so i left as a whole but if i was 15-16 again I wouldn't have joined

Like I was trying to recover a old account and I was forced to give my full legal name which I am absolutely uncomfortable to do so, like how is a game going to ask for your full legal name when you didn’t have to provide it during sign up, they have stolen like five of my accounts refusing to give them back even after I’ve begged pleaded shown multiple purchase receipts for credits they will not give them back and any accounts you love and cherish please for the sake of it….do not abandon or delete them this game will beat you out your money the only way to keep your accounts safe is by not ever deleting them! I was lied to agent during live chat told me the account was already reactivated partially when it wasn’t I can’t even get in or log in the entire service itself was sketchy, the agent was very rude when I asked why I had to give my legal name

Ultimately they refuse to clear IMVU of scammers, pedophiles, catfish, etc. I switched to JLCams.com
since IMVU has turned into a pile of feces. I'm much better off there. My desires are always satisfied there. I stopped wasting my money and emotions on those low-life loosers from IMVU. I remember when I used IMVU I never knew what I would get, where those weird chats would go to, and what unpleasant surprise I would get. I'm glad that at some point I realized that I was using it out of habit. Since I was not getting any satisfaction out of it anymore it was time to quit.

Verified Creator Account on Hold Over 15-Year-Old Data—Help! ($600+ balance / Form 1042-S matched)

Hey everyone, I need some advice on how to escalate a ticket. My account was created back in 2010. In 2024, I joined the Earn Money program and successfully completed the full creator verification process, submitting my Government ID and tax papers.

My account was recently placed on hold, and customer support is acting like a robot. They are demanding that I provide the exact signup email, the original credit card last 4 digits, and billing details from 15 years ago (2010).

I don't have this data anymore, but I have something much stronger: I am an international creator, and IMVU just issued me an official IRS Form 1042-S for my earnings. My legal name and ID number match the 1042-S exactly. I even sent a screenshot linking my avatar name and verified email to my payout texts, along with a live ID selfie.

I have over $600 sitting in my account. Support and the Creator Advocate have gone completely silent for days. It feels like my legal earnings and tax records are being held hostage over obsolete data from over a decade ago.

Has anyone successfully bypassed the Tier 1 robot agents using their Earn Money/1042-S verification? Is there a specific staff member or moderator here who can help me escalate this to a supervisor? Thanks!

They took my username and added '_old' to the end of it. Now they refuse to give me my original name back OR let me pick any of the 4+ inactive names I’ve suggested. They keep giving me the same canned response about 'security reasons' while offering zero actual solutions. They expect me to do all the legwork to find an available name, but then reject every option I find. Extremely disappointed in how they treat their customers. WORST COMPANY

They can block your account for a made up reason and just take your money (that's the real reason they ban you). Eventually I switched to JLCams.com
when I felt that I could definitely go for a cam site with beautiful grls. Even though it was just an experiment for me (something totally new) I liked it to such an extent that I keep coming back. It's much better than IMVU anyway. It's actually beyond comparison. In practical terms IMVU just doesn't work. So I ordered a shared room and I shared it with my friend so that we can decorate the room when we're decorating the room for like 3 to 4 hours and once we got done to make the room public so friends could join but they keep saying try again it was an error now they remove my friend from the shared room and took out all our decorations out the room and put my room back into private slot and now they saying I have to pay 9.99 again to get another shared room wth this not right at all n im pissed off behind this

The IMVU customer service is absolutely unacceptable. For weeks I have been trying to recover my account, providing every proof they requested, yet their support keeps sending repetitive, automated replies and doing nothing to solve the issue.

This is beyond frustrating and shows a complete lack of professionalism. If IMVU does not resolve this immediately, I will escalate the matter legally and through consumer protection authorities.

We will not stay silent — enough is enough.

Et si j'avais pu mettre moins que 0 je l'aurais fait. Repère à malades mentaux (et encore, s'ils étaient drôles, ou au moins avec de la conversation à défaut d'être sympathiques, bref pertinents quoi, ça irait...) Nan, moi j'ai tout connu la dessus, je me suis retrouvée avec des pauvres folles du genre nevrosées, mythomanes, nymphomanes, des crasseuses qui prennent meme pas de douche et qui te reprochent d'avoir d'attirer les mouches en juillet, qui m'ont menacées de mort, m'ont harcelée pendant plus de deux ans, ont inventées tout un tas de conneries sur moi, ont fait tourner mes infos réelles et j'ai été victime d'un pédophile aussi qui mentait sur son âge, ses photos, sa vie, bref la totale quoi... J'avais de la peine pour certaines personnes parce que c'était des crèmes qui restaient coincés dedans parce qu'ils avaient un mal être de fou mais au final ils ratent rien. T'as vraiment que des détraqués là bas. J'ai même connu un mec qui bouffait avec ses poupées en porcelaines et avait des rapports sexuels avec sa literie donc bon... Plus de IRL pour moi.

Locked Out of VIP Account – No Support for 3+ Days

I have been locked out of my verified VIP IMVU account (@Rvrz) for more than 3 days.
Despite submitting a support ticket (#596313), sending multiple reminders, and posting on Twitter, I’ve received no response.

As a paying customer, this is completely unacceptable. I cannot access my account or even the VIP Live Chat that I paid for.

The worst part? No explanation, no communication, and no help.
This is the worst customer support I’ve encountered from any platform.

Minha conta IMVU foi desativada injustamente por “suspeita de bot” no dia **8 de julho de 2025**. Entrei em contato com o suporte imediatamente, e abriram o **ticket #586632**.

A IMVU prometeu resposta em **3 a 5 dias úteis**, mas **hoje já é dia 15 de julho (5º dia útil)** e **NADA foi resolvido**.

Já enviei cobranças educadas, firmes, e fui completamente ignorada. Estou **há mais de uma semana sem acesso à minha conta**, sem explicação, sem retorno, e com total **descaso do suporte**.

Isso é inaceitável. O mínimo que espero de uma plataforma como a IMVU é respeito com seus usuários reais.

Aguardo uma resposta **URGENTE**.

THE WHOLE COMPANY IS A SCAM! My VIP failed to go through so they put my account on hold and made me send the payment through paypal to have it reactivated. I did everything they said and they took the hold off my account but NEVER gave me the service I paid for! Obviously I disputed this transaction with paypal but surprise surprise they won, thieves. OF COURSE they put my account on hold again! I have had tickets open for months now trying to get it lifted, but they only reply once every two weeks and ask for the same information already sent to them. They're such a scam of a company, I've been using this game since 2019 and regret every single penny i've ever spent on it. And I will be contacting my bank & local regulations office to report them for this and i WILL be getting back all the hundreds of pounds I have spent.
