It seems so strange to me that money…

It seems so strange to me that money doesn't arrive on the platform in a timely manner, drop down menus log you out requiring a re-log in, you can't actually move around the platform because of this and there is no support option in the portal. We are in 2024 folks.
I'm very reluctant to put my money up there.
Platform seems to be non functioning.

Thank you for taking the time to write this.

The platform issues you describe, particularly the dropdown menu logging you out and breaking navigation, aren't how things should work.

Since this review was posted in mid-2024 we have made a number of improvements to the platform. What you describe is not how it works today.

On the timing of funds arriving, Insignis is a savings platform offering access to multiple banks and building societies. Funds move between us and our banking partners, and are reconciled and verified before being reflected in your account, to ensure accuracy and security.

This is different from a single-bank platform, where transactions sit entirely within one system.

We continually look to make improvements to our operating systems and processes, and feedback like yours helps shape our priorities.

Difficult to withdraw

Easy to opening and place money but very difficult to work out how to withdraw funds

Really easy to set up and use

Really easy to set up. Very easy to move cash around to optimise interest rate received. Highly intuitive interface. I think it is a fantastic platform.

Sorry guys...I have had a positive experience only!!!

Sorry guys, my experience has been wonderful.
I opened this account through my IFA.
Interest paid on time.
They give you advise not to invest more than 85K in any one financial institution.
Yes they do take out .2% from your deposit but hey you are getting 5-6% interest.
I have nothing to do with these guys but I have been treated fairly.

We continue to work hard to ensure that our product allows businesses, individuals, charities and advisors to maximise FSCS protection. And rather than taking a share of the interest that banks offer our clients, we charge a fee. We think it is more transparent and the fees taken are clearly reported within our new statement page within our client portal.

We would also like to clarify that we take no other fees for the Insignis service, i.e., no sign-up or transaction fees between moving funds between your nominated linked account, your hub account and our banking partners).

Almost impossible to open an account…

Almost impossible to open an account have given up and gone back to the DIY option. No response from customer service and fed up chasing. Shouldn’t be this hard

Now self defeating and of questionable value

This started as a brilliant idea. Trying to make your cash work harder is....... too hard. So nobody does it because opening accounts and moving money is aggro. Insignis's solution is you open only 1 account and then don't need to do those annoying steps again. For that, of course they charge a fee so you get less interest in return for the convenience.

Now they make it so hard to open an account (and it keeps getting worse), the aggro might actually be worse than what the system was designed to spare you from.
