If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

I have had an Irrigatia solar water pump for more than 10 years. In that time, I have replaced parts twice. Each time, Ihave received excepotionally friendly, helpful, and prompt customer service. And the pump is still going strong - great during the consistent drought periods we've been experienceing.

One of the best customer service teams


One of the best customer service teams out there. We bought a C24 solar watering system in summer 2021 and it has been brilliant for keeping everything in my greenhouse watered automatically from the water butt.

When there has been an issue (on 2 occasions after setting it back up again after winter storage as we disconnect it when not in use) they have been helpful and responsive with advice & have sent a replacement part on two different occasions now to get us back up and running quickly.

I love that the system is easily repairable if anything does go wrong, and am considering purchasing another one to water the pots in front of my house as I know it will be well supported!

Can highly recommend the company & product :)

Wonderful customer support

Wonderful customer support! We bought the Irrigatia Sol C24 in 2017 after looking at them at various flower shows over the years - wish we had bought it sooner. The system keeps our pots on the patio and our tomato plants well watered using the water butt even when we are away on holiday. Every so often when I get it out for the summer season there is a technical problem but George is always quick to respond and help me get it going again. I'd recommend the system to any gardener like me who can be forgetful when it comes to watering or who wants a holiday from time to time.

Irrigatia Sol24 saved by Irrigatia support

My Irrigatia Sol24 stopped working after 3 summers and I therefore reached out to Irrigatia support to see if they had any suggestions. Shout-out to Mr Evans who answered all my stupid questions (there were A LOT of mails from me) patiently and ended up sending me several parts for troubleshooting. They even reached out to check on my progress. Now my pump works beautifully again. Best support experience I have ever had.

Really great product

Really great product - fantastic for when I go on holiday. It looks like it might be quite fiddly, but actually the technology seems very robust and it's easy to extend. It's also inherently modular, so it's easy to reuse year-to-year with different sets of pots.

I've also had a good experience when parts wear out - I Email support and they just send new ones.

What fantastic service!

What an amazing company when it comes to after sales service. I have had an Irrigatia SOL-C24 automatic watering system for a number of years and it was in need of a service. I initially contacted George who discussed the various options and agreed with him that I should return the unit for a service and possible replacement of a couple of components. This I did and the unit was back with me in a matter of days. I thought the cost of the service was very reasonable in this day and age.
The level of communication by both George, and subsequently Bradley, was brilliant. Thank you to you both for making the process so stress free.

One out of two kits bought worked

One out of two kits bought worked. I tried all solutions with no success. I have bought five kits in the past years and they only have only worked one year. I hav3 tried it all and am finished with this product. The water will not pump the second year even when priming the pump and using the syringes.

I have looked on our support ticketing system and I can't see any tickets under the name Betty Keding, or any variant thereof.

We pride ourselves on the ability to repair items as we carry all internal components for this purpose. We help any customer with products issues and provide comprehensive instructions through our support team to bring products back online, send out components if they need repairing (all for free under warranty in the first 12 months - though we are usually flexible on that timescale), and we even offer services on models to keep them running which some of our customers do every couple years for £35.

These products do need a little TLC when being brought out of storage each year. It's hard on components when they are working 6 months of the year every day, and then stop for another six months in storage (or outside in the elements).

I would strongly recommend engaging in the support system we have in place for our customers, because all the solutions you have tried might not be all the solutions that are available.

Send a support ticket through with the issues you are experiencing, and what error codes are showing on the unit(s), and you will be surprised by how quickly we can get the units back in operation for you.

Great product and brilliant service.

I bought a C12 unit in 2019 to help with a constant moisture level for tomatoes growing in a greenhouse on my allotment (no power or mains water) to prevent things like blossom end rot and drying out on really hot days. To this end it does exactly that and I’m really happy with the device. Like some others have mentioned, the pump is a bit noisy when it kicks in but it’s nothing to get excited about and it’s only for a few minutes every three hours or so and only during daylight.
I pack it away each winter to protect the unit, charging the batteries up on an external charger first, and normally have no issues each spring when I dust it off and set it up again however I couldn’t get it to work properly this time so fired a help request off to Irrigatia through their website. George Evans got back to me within 24 hours with some questions and ‘try this’ type prompts. Still no luck so I replied to him and again he responded within 24 hours and hey presto - issue resolved. Pump back up and running (problem with user, not unit!) Testing it indoors under artificial light does not work. Not bright enough and the machine thinks it’s night time so does not pump.
The point is, I think it’s a great little item and you get great after sales service, several years after purchase which seems to be quite a rare thing nowadays.

6.5 YRS - OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE

About Us: We are located in Cupertino, California, USA. We garden a small patio garden all year around, no snow/ice.

About Unit: SOL-C24, Purchased on Amazon US in April, 2017. The unit has run constantly up to this time (25/April/2023).

Our Experience: Our ‘need’ for a watering device developed after realizing that our beautiful mature patio plants were not being adequately tended by relatives and others who had “volunteered” to water our plants while we were traveling for 3 to 4 weeks. The Irrigatia Unit perfectly fit our need as it avoided leaving on a water tap while away 
 thereby eliminating a potential for $1000’s in ‘disaster’ leaking water bills! During this 6+ years we learned a system of care that WORKS!

We found through experiences to use the Irrigatia (“IR”) tubing & Drippers / seep hoses. Our experience showed the IR bits are calibrated and work best. I like the CLEANABLE new drippers, simply magnificent; unplug cleanable drips and blow out any ‘stuff’ then plug in and they work as new!

Our Solar Panel hot hazy from intense CA sun all year, so I did buy a spare 
 but subsequently found the clear panel surface plastic can be wiped with rubbing alcohol then over-sprayed or “capped” (plastics industry term) with a fantastic product called: SprayMax

SprayMax SMT 3684068, 2K 2 in 1 Headlight Clear. It is a REAL UV stable 2-part clear, in a very special 2-valve can (Amazon). It is designed to refinish auto headlamp hazed lenses. It’s incredibly easy to perfectly coat a solar panel, and it makes it super clear & totally weather/UV PROOF! It is pricy, I had 2 projects, so I used ALL the can
 which “hardens” after 48 hrs. This German mfg’ed “capping spray” is the REAL THING for hazed S-Panels.

Our next ‘recent’ experience was a reduction of “dripping”, even at the highest setting “5”. I had previously purchased a spare pump from the efficient (and closer) Canadian Irrigati.ca distributor. So, I replaced our original increasingly noisy pump, thoroughly cleaned 3 interconnected 20 gallon plastic barrels with distilled vinegar (to fight Algae), blew out the distribution tubing, refilled w-water + bit of hydrogen peroxide ,,,, and WOW 
 our IR is terrifically powerful, high pressure out to all tubing ends 
 like the pressure from a hose tap, IR ON STEROIDS!!

These are terrific devices, but there have been growing pains, NOW SOLVED!! Our venerable old IR SOL-C24 is an EXCEPTIONAL solid reliably performing watering device, our beautiful trellised & potted plants thrive, AND we travel with with a calm knowledge that PLANT CARE is 100% OPTIMAL!!!

Lastly, our rechargeable AA batteries are Eneloop, they have performed optimally for 3.5 yrs steadily, and very powerfully!

I bought a C12 system when I got my greenhouse in 2021 and it worked beautifully, surprisingly with such a small amount of water trickling in, it kept large tomato and cucumber plants thriving. A friend who checked in while I was away never had to water anything even during the fierce hot spell. This summer there was a problem getting it going and I found the customer support second to none. A real person on the end of the phone who knew useful things and passed on accurate details of the problem; technical support responded quickly and had exactly the info that I had given and then sent a replacement pump without charge and then did a complete check over, trial and prompt return. I’m not used to this kind of service and haven’t experienced it anywhere else; it seems quite extraordinary in these days of AI or disinterested people on the end of the phone and an inclination for throwaway technology. I highly recommend Irrigatia’s products both for their efficacy and after-sales service.

I have 5 units and it’s been such a hustle since I bought them.
In the beginning they would not stop dripping even though I had the anti drip device there.
They make so much noise the neighbours started to complaine so a had to take a full day to build a sound proof box and extend all the wires to the pumps.
Taking it out for the second year it has take me several days of work to get everything up and running.
I have one Gardena unit that is less problems but not as many possibilities to adjust as the irrigatia.
When it works and does not make all the noise it’s superb!

A great British designed product

What a fabulous, British Company with real customer service.
I used this all last summer without problem. It is such a boon knowing when you have to leave it unattended, that you no longer come home to a greenhouse full of dried out plants.
At the end of the summer, I carefully dried it out, removed the batteries and stored it away for the next summer.
Unfortunately after charging the batteries, it failed to pump as it should have, so asked their Helpdesk for advise. As others have commented on, the service I received was excellent.
For a start, the lady on the helpline obviously had a crib sheet of questions to ask, to pinpoint the possible problem – first brownie point.
I then had an Email from George, their engineer, who I subsequently found out not only understood fully how this unit works, but actually designed it – how often do you get to speak to a real engineer?
Anyway, it turned out that I needed to replace the pump, which they did for me and I now have my fully working irrigator again.
One happy customer who would recommend this unit and manufacturer any day of the week. Thanks.
