I had a fantastic experience at Ivybridge Trade Centre. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional salesman Ben was excellent – friendly, knowledgeable, and never pushy. He really took the time to listen to what I needed and helped me find the right car without any pressure.

The vehicle was presented in immaculate condition thanks to the valeting team, who clearly take pride in their work. Every detail was spotless, making the car feel brand new.

Went today to look at a Vauxhall corsa and had one of the best and easiest experiences of buying a car. Matty who sold me the car was spot on with every step. Was told to take my time on a road test and look over the car as I wished. Simon has a very good team and will definitely be buying a car from them again. Thanks guys.

Edit in response to traders response: there was absolutely no offer to deliver said vehicle! That is a blatant lie!
Absolutely shocking experience! Found a car through them on the Saturday, finance in place and funds sent over on the Monday/Tuesday (confirmation from finance company), confirmed collection on the Monday at around 10.30/11.00 on the following Monday (so an entire week), only to be called at 17.20 on the Friday to say the vehicle hadn’t had the MOT as two staff members had gone off with dental issues so vehicle wouldn't be ready until the Monday afternoon/Tuesday morning. With no way for me to collect the vehicle at a later time the response was ‘can’t you get a friend to bring you’ and then ‘we should just wind down the deal and you look for something else’ after me arguing that they knew for a week the vehicle was being sold and the date of collection. Surely it doesn’t take a week to get a car ready for collection once it is sold? Now I have a delay in finding another vehicle due to them having received payment and the finance company having to request a refund from them and who knows how long it will take for them to send the money back!

We purchased a Qashqai from here 3 months ago. My wife test drove it and i went with her. Through each gear it gave what I’d describe as a turbo whine which some do . We asked about it on our return and were told it was normal, which never having a Nissan before we believed as it seemed to have its power. So we paid £6000. During the next couple of weeks we noticed power loss and made several attempts to contact them but the boss was never there. We took it to our garage who found a broken turbo impeller and dirty low engine oil. Eventually we had e mail contact from the boss and a car we couldn’t drive. In the weeks of having no car we had to hire our own all before it went for repair through the warranty company. It took too long. I asked “the boss” if he would voluntarily contribute to the cost of our hire car but he refused as in his e mail words was paying what the warranty company wouldn’t. So on reflection i can see it’s all luck as they do not mechanically check what they sell and don’t even check the oil! I would not recommend or go back but if you’re a person who receives a lot of good luck then you may get a good one. Oh and when they advertise air conditioning it in no way means it actually works. If you notice this they will likely say it needs a re gas. Don’t you believe it. Don’t say i haven’t warned you!!!!!

I recently purchased a Mercedes at full price from this garage. Communication was poor; rarely was the phone answered and I needed to contact them via email to get any updates. The car passed it's MOT before I drove it away. On the way home, a Saturday the ESP signal was on (A MOT failure). I contacted the garage on Monday morning and was told to go through the warranty people. The car has just returned from our local garage with a new battery required, ESP sorted now, serviced, handbrake working - £549.76 costs not covered by the warranty.
disappointing experience and I would not purchase a car from here again.

Bought a white mini clubman, driving home, get a drivetrain warning, 2nd day engine warning.
Got told it’s an 8 year old car, what do you expect.
Car had 33 error messages when checked by another garage. When they plugged it in. Many where gone and couldn’t fix the DPF issue and told me to take it to the warranty company.
Had to sign a full settlement agreement before they would refund me. Which meant I could not say anything about them. Says it all.
Gat the car checked before you buy.

The car is in immaculate condition with a low mileage , a deal was agreed with her Fiat 500 as a trade in.

Bought a car from here and I have got to say, Very friendly and welcoming staff, they talked me through all the specs and information about it, took it for a test drive which was a very quick and easy process, and had the car professionally valeted and MOT’d within a couple of days ready for me to collect, couldn’t be happier, would highly recommend!

After speaking to ivybridge the car I was looking at seemed perfect as they knew I had 5 hour train ride to get the car and also knew I carried my kids in car everyday after getting the car home lights stopped working only to find out all the electrics in back of car had melted starter motor on its way out just to be told contact warranty as I no longer need to contact them knowing warranty didn't cover it I was lucky the car didn't catch fire and these guys not a care in the world just to add the car was just shy of 8k

So most car dealers are pretty good. what makes an excellent dealer is when things go wrong, do they go the extra mile for the customer ?

Well I bought a Mazda 3 from Ivybridge trade centre in sept '24, everything was lovely for the first (almost) 3 months, but then it broke down. Got it recovered to a garage and spent £800 to get it sorted. Similar fault withing 2 weeks and was told over £100 more needed to be spent (on a car worth around £4500), went back to ITC as outside the warranty I was still covered by consumer law, they took a little time (this was over Christmas so understandable) and arranged to have the car repaired at no cost to me. Whilst legally obliged to do so, I found them helpful polite and courteous throughout the process and i am very happy with the process. This is the 2nd vehicle I've purchased from this dealer and I will not hesitate to purchase a 3rd when the time comes. Well done Ivybridge trade centre

Bought a focus ST 😎 very happy with the car, service and it was prepped to a really good standard

The gear box broke 3 days after buying the car. At the time of purchase I felt the clutch to be stiff and I expressed my concern. The vendor assured me that it was fine and that I could bring it back as they offer 3 months warranty. When I contacted them I receive the following reply 'Unfortunately cars can break down as there’s 30,000 moving parts. Obviously the clutch was working ok when we sold the car'.
The warranty did not cover the gear box which costed £800 to repair. Horrible customer service, as well as being lied to when purchasing the vehicle as they told me I could bring it there to fix the clutch if any problem occurred.

Best price around for the van we were looking for and we travelled 150 miles to pick up as no vat...we were early by nearly 2 hours.bought on the Wednesday and they squeezed it in for mot to be picked up Saturday morning,it was ready and cleaned..super service...

Very happy with my new car, the guys went the extra mile for me as needed car in a hurry. Really pleased thank you.
