Thank you to Alex and the JCS team for the safe Christmas delivery of Basil to us! Basil's paperwork being lost in transit was very stressful for us but Alex was proactive, and great at communication which made it all as smooth as could be. I recently had the pleasure of using James Cargo to relocate my cat from Turkey to England, and I cannot express how impressed I am with their exceptional service.

From the moment our cat arrived at Heathrow airport in England, the team took charge and ensured a smooth transition. They promptly contacted us upon receiving our cat, providing much-needed reassurance during what can be a stressful process for both pets and owners.

The personalized touch extended to the journey within England as well. The individual responsible for transporting our cat to Cambridge went above and beyond by keeping us informed about the estimated arrival time. This level of communication demonstrated their commitment to the well-being of our pet and eased any anxieties we had about the relocation.

The entire experience was seamless, and their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for animals stood out. I highly recommend James Cargo for anyone seeking reliable and compassionate pet relocation services.

From the day I contacted Charlie till they safely delivered our 37 cats, the level of effort they had put into ensuring everything went smoothly was exceptional. I can’t begin to tell you how much your help meant to me while going through such a stressful process.
When an individual importing/exporting with this number of animals, seemed everything was under a microscope by both country’s authorities. JCS guided me and provided crucial information. Towards the end of the process all the documents needed to be endorsed within 48 hours, the pressure of getting everything done correctly within a short time window was very high, and APHA was very particular about the pre-check of the documentation, Danielle and Alex worked round clock to ensure the import documents were corrected in a timely manner so the cats wouldn't miss the flight.
Excellent communication, emails I sent to JCS during their working hours were always replied promptly.
My experience of importing 37 rescue cats was strictly of drama episode, it has been a roller coaster ride, however, JCS’s support eased off some stress. It was comforting to know they were on your side.
I would like to thank Charlie, Danielle, Alex, Lisa, and Zoe from the import department, and Mat the driver for collecting the cats and traveled overnight.
I highly recommend the company.

We used JCS as our agent to import our little dog from Canada. They took all the stress out of the process and dealt with everything after landing. Very fast to respond to any queries, all paperwork and info submitted via their simple online portal. Friendly team of experts. Fantastic - I had 1,000 questions about moving our cat from Canada to the UK and they answered every one, extremely quickly. Honestly put me at ease so much - worth every penny.

A tricky shipment from USA to UK made a lot less painful with the help of this team - thank you.

Basically, they send me 3 different budgets, and before I even start, they tried to apply extra fees, luckily, I noticed the problem, and confronted them.
They change the person that takes care of your dog all the time, and each person says something different about the process and the next steps.
My dog arrived in the UK with all the original documents, as a JCS agent informed me.
After, they said that there were some documents missing. I proved that the original documents had been delivered, as I have a copy of everything.
Although they said they do not accept copies.
I had to pay more than £ 260, and my dog stayed 24 hours more in the Animal Care, and finally I was able to pick my dog.
The problem was they do not return me the original documents of my dog!!!!
So, they lost her original documents.
Because if they can only release my dog with the original documents, how have they managed to accept a dog without them? On the other hand, if they accept copies, why do they ask me to pay extra fees, as I can prove that she flew with the original documents?
These questions remain without answer.
I tried to contact them, and asked them about my data, and data protection. I even questioned about my data subject rights. Not only they do not know the difference between the applicable law in the UK, but they refuse to provide an answer, even after I explicitly requested to have my requirement forward to the DPO.
Because of this, if you can, PLEASE AVOID JCS!!!!! They might seem ok, but they will end with your patience, your money, and they do not even know what they are doing (as clerks whose does not know even the applicable law, or the regulation they follow).

Yep, after lots of complaints, the original documents have finally appeared!!! It took more than 10 days of complaining, and they initially refused to help. Only after making some noise online, I finally received the original documents for my dog!!!!

However, they still haven't addressed anything regarding data protection, the issues related to fees persist, and communication problems persist as well... So, I continue to have this terrible experience. Even after a significant problem, they only respond when I, as a lawyer, make a complaint. However, they still haven't fulfilled all of their legal obligations...

We have just shipped three dogs from Auckland New Zealand, and JCS managed the whole process of clearance at Heathrow. We cannot thank JCS enough for all the help and professionalism shown by them in this prosses. It is very nice to deal with people who care and are so efficient in their work.
Truthfully, they are an AWESOME company.

Shipped two dogs from Wales via Heathrow to Dubai.

James Cargo were brilliant. They supplied the wooden crates for us which were really well made and sturdy.

Collect the dogs from us on time and kept us informed all the way through the shipment.

Staff were excellent and very easy to deal with.

JCS Livestock assisted with importing our German Shepherd into the UK and subsequently from the UK to South Africa which is a very challenging jurisdiction to import animals to. They went above and beyond to support us through a rather arduous export process and they worked under significant time pressure to ensure our dog made his flight even sourcing a replacement crate at the last minute when ours didn't meet specifications. The agents were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and very prompt with communications. I can highly recommend this company.

Brilliant service from Georgina and Morgan when we recently brought back 2 dogs Danny and Eugene rescued from Oman

We had car trouble on the way and this delayed us arriving, the girls were amazing they brought Danny and Eugene into their office to let them play and settle after such a long journey
