I checked out the site and somehow they ended up charging me I got absolutely nothing from them. Have tried to contact them but no answer no reply. They are a total scam. Do not sign up

Sad that I am compelled to give hem even one star. Jetsetter has pathetic, well actually apparently non-existent customer service. After getting no alerts at all and questioning it, they still charged... もっず芋る

I am giving a 1 star which is far too high. I never get any alerts and similar to other reviews I am not getting anyone to respond to my emails. Zero!! I was hopeful that they would provide different... もっず芋る

I booked a boutique hotel in Charleston based on the information provided by Jetsetter. The hotel was nothing like the ad. It was under renovation and only had small rooms and extremely small baths.... もっず芋る

Buyer beware! Poor quality vacation packages, poor value for money, and promises not kept!

I just returned from the Greek Island Hopping trip that I purchased from JetSetter, and was very disappointed. 1) The package was supposed to include a day in Athens for site-seeing, but that was not possible because they scheduled me to get in very late, and then leave very early the next day. So disappointing!!!! 2) Also, my package was supposed to include free breakfasts all days, and I could not get those on two days because of my scheduled pick-up times being too early in the morning. 3) Communication was horrible. They never answered emails re: questions, and during the trip, we often didn't know who was going to pick us up for the next leg of the trip, or even when our pick-up time was. 4) the hotels they booked for us were very mediocre, and the rooms we were assigned were the lower quality rooms at each hotel. 5) After pricing out everything, I found that I would have saved about $1,000 if I had booked the exact same trip myself, instead of using Jetsetter! 6) They booked me on a flight from Chicago to Athens that had a layover in Istanbul, when there were plenty of similarly priced flights that flew direct. The whole trip was just poorly organized, poorly planned, mediocre, and not a good value. I will never use them again.

Awesome

I used Jetsetter for the first time recently and I can't wait to use it again for my next trip. I was able to book a fantastic room at a top hotel for a fraction of the price ( I sound like a commercial) but honestly, my room was huge, I was in the center of everything, the process was super easy....Bring on the next vacation!!!

Great deals and great customer service!

Jetsetter always has great deals. They also have amazing customer service when plans change. I recently had to cancel a hotel booked through jetsetter and they did so no questions asked. When I told them I found something cheaper they understood and didn't give any attitude, which was awesome! !

Buyer beware - do your homework!

I used Jetsetter's services for 2 separate hotel bookings, based in part on the invitation of a fabulous rate and also on the images displayed of the room and hotel. The first booking was at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach and I made sure to call them to confirm the type of room and its location, as in the view from the room. This property was very good. The second property was the Normandie Hotel in LA, which was a joke, or the joke was on me for not making that phone call to the hotel prior to checking in. The only small window in the room faced DIRECTLY, did I say directly, to the large brick wall of the building next door. Had I known this, I would not have booked regardless of the rate, or at least upgraded to another room. With the understanding that cheap rates do not always reflect quality rooms, it was disappointing to see that Jetsetter was assured rooms of quality - based on the photos from the Normandie - but that the guest MUST do their own homework and confirm whether you will be facing a brick wall, or not... I sent an email to the GM of the hotel, which received no response. There I go again with my expectations... Buyer beware, do your homework!

always check this site

Have found some of my favorite hotels at the best rates. Always check their flash sales for vacations. When one of the places we stayed at was not quite up to standards, Jetsetter stepped in and took care of it. Love the company and trust them.

Dishonest and horrible

This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. After being a long time customer of both Jetsetter and Giltgroup, they have now lost all of my respect and business.

I purchased a hotel reservation from Jetsetter a few days ago, and when I received confirmation, I realized that I had accidentally entered in the wrong date (or their system screwed it up... can't be sure). I called them right back to fix the problem (this is less than 24 hours after the purchase). When I speak with them, I am informed that my purchase is not refundable and that they can't change the dates. Of course I am very upset by this information and request to speak with a manager. Not surprisingly, the manager is "busy" and can't take my call, but would be happy to call me back later. At this point, I am very stressed, as we had already booked our flight, and need to get our vacation figured out immediately. I let them know this, and they assure me I will get a call back that day. Stupidly, I believed them...

The next day when I had still not received a call back, I called them again. They gave me the same information as before, and said that the manager was "busy" again. All the while the people I spoke with at this company were rude and disrespectful to me. I let them know that if I don't get the situation resolved immediately, I will cancel the charges. This got their attention, and they let me know that they would see what they can do. A few hours later, I get an email letting me know that I can change the dates of my trip, but can't get a refund of the extra day that I had accidentally booked.

This is still not good enough for me, and I am in the process of canceling the charges with my credit card company. Apparently, Jetsetter has never learned that the customer is always right. All they had to do was make a small change to my trip, and everything would have been fine. Now I have lost many hours of my valuable time in dealing with this, and they have lost a customer.

Not a service company

I am very dissatisfied with my first (and now only) experience with Jetsetter. I booked a hotel in New York though them for two nights at $249/night (without taxes and fees). When we arrived, a basic room was $214 and the next level up was $245 (as well as more expensive rooms). Despite having paid more, we were given the basic room since we had purchased “run of the house” from Jetsetter.

Since Jetsetter acted as an intermediary between me and the hotel, I would have assumed they would also advocate for me. I assumed that the hotel would have knowledge of our higher payment and would offer us a equitable room. I assumed that Jetsetter, when this was brought to their attention, would have acknowledged the issue and worked with me to remediate it.

It’s my fault - I assumed too much. That’s why I’ll book directly with a hotel or use a more customer focused service in the future - not Jetsetter.

UPDATE after their reply
Their public reply at this site does not match our previous correspondence. I've written to the new contact but assume nothing. Again, I was won't book with this company because my expectations are apparently unrealistic for this vendor.

It sounds like you likely secured an advance purchase reservation with Jetsetter. Generally, the advance rate secures a lower rate than you’d see day-of check-in, and gives you the ability to plan ahead. However, hotel rates can fluctuate frequently and, as a check-in date approaches, hotels sometimes choose to drop their rates if their rooms aren’t full. not up to date

I booked the UN One hotel because the hotel had a pool for my kids. Unfortunately, while booking Jetsetter failed to mention that the pool was closed and will be closed for a month! Very Disappointed.

Horrible Company!

Worst experience ever booking a hotel on JetSetter! As soon as I booked the hotel, I realized that the same hotel, much better room was available at the hotels site directly at a much cheaper rate. I tried to call JetSetter but their automated message stated that they work only form 10am - 06pm EST. The booking has to be cancelled before midnight becasue JetSetters policy stated that anything after midnight will incur one days cancellation fees. I emailed JetSetter and no luck. i called the hotel directly and they said since this room was booked using JetSetter, I could make modifications only through Jet Setter. The next day JetSetter responds that they cant do anything about the toom and cant modify and cant cancel.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING THROUGH JETSETTER!! PATHETIC SERVICE AND EVEN MORE PATHETIC CUSTOMER CARE!

Not a travel agent

Please be aware that this company buys discount bulk rates from hotels and makes money by charging you full price. They made $120 off of our 2-night hotel stay. You are better off booking directly!

Misleading offer

Today we made à reservation for hotel crocks in Jacco (Costa rica). We reservaten for 4 personen 1 room for à price of uss 363. After we paid, we recieved à confirmation in which was mentioned that we had to pay an additionele fee of uss 90 per night for THE third and fourth person. We immediatly sent an email to jetsetters to cancel THE reservation because THE additional fee was nog mentioned during THE reservation. We recieved an answer that à cancelation is not possible and we are forced to pay THE additional fee. This organisation is Misleading its customers.

Ideal Website to Find Charming Boutique Hotels and Tours

I used Jetsetter multiple times already and was never disappointed. They post their detailed reviews of hotels and tours and that's coming from their own experience. I love the what we love and what to know sections. Also, they post the member approval percentage.
The only critique is the inability to modify your trip dates once you've booked the hotel.

Awesome Way To Discover Upscale Accommodations

Jetsetter has allowed me to find great upscale accommodations at some of my favorite places that I travel. They provide a detailed review of their own experience at a resort or hotel and let travelers know exactly what to expect. And if you're going to a new city that you aren't familiar with, Jetsetter is a great place to find that nicer hotel with the amenities you expect. I've used them to travel to new places like Whistler and Switzerland, but they've also helped me identify great finds in some of my local places that I frequent here in Colorado like Telluride and Aspen. If you are a customer of Gilt, another site of theirs, or even places like Nordstrom, you would love Jetsetter. If it's on Jetsetter and recommended, then trust them, it's great.
