If I could have gave more stars I would have. We recently had our wedding reception there and the staff where phenomenal nothing was to much trouble, down to every detail perfection, we can’t thank Kim and her team enough for making our day so special. Memories we will treasure.

What an amazing night
What an amazing night
We decided to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary at the John Godber. The team were fantastic right from booking. They were extremely helpful, friendly and had a lovely way of making us feel special. They were great at helping me choose balloon colours,table layouts and room design. They were on hand all evening and made the party flow -seamlessly.
The buffet was delicious with a huge choice of food - even for the vegetarians and gluten free.
Everyone had a smashing time (literally with the T Rex🤣)
It was perfect and I highly recommend them.

40th party celebration
We recently held our joint 40th party at the John Godber Centre.
It was a brilliant evening and everybody commented on how nice the room looked.
The staff were brilliant and very attentive.
Becky who was in charge was excellent and really ensured everything was going as we wanted it.
Thank you for hosting a brilliant evening. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

A great venue with a fantastic ambience
I recently celebrated my 40th birthday party at The John Godber Centre, and it was an absolute delight. The venue's stunning aesthetics, excellent facilities, and convenient parking created the perfect backdrop for the occasion. What truly set the event apart was Kim and her team's remarkable commitment. They were very supportive during the planning phase and were flexible and incredibly accommodating of our requests and needs. It's a definite 5-star review from me – nothing less!

Lovely venue
Lovely venue, used for childrens parties in both rooms over the years. Is brilliant and the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble for them. Had our sons christening/1st birthday party in the big hall had so much space and next door to the Church so guests could easily walk to the venue.
Also been to weddings and parties there and always had a great time with friendly staff on the bar.
Ideal location with car park at back.
Will always recommend for family events.
