My partner and I used John Hodge Solicitors for both the sale and purchase of our house, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received.

Our contact, Samuel Turner, was amazing throughout the whole process. His replies were always very quick and informative, and he was proactive in chasing updates. Most of the time, we didn’t even need to ask for updates ourselves, as he kept us informed as soon as anything new happened.

Buying and selling a house can be an incredibly stressful experience, but Samuel and the team at John Hodge made the whole process so much more manageable.

I’ve given them 5 stars because I would 100% use John Hodge again. Thank you so much for all your help and support!

I’ve just been lucky enough to engage the services of John Hodge with the sale of my house and purchase of a new house. Maggie Hayward in particular has been absolutely amazing in helping to get everything over the line. The timeframe in which completion needed to be achieved was ridiculously short, yet it was achieved. Thank you John Hodge, especially Maggie.

Terrible conveyancing experience. Very poor communication and the person managing the case was inexperienced and not knowledgeable enough to manage the case.

Reached out to a solicitor I used briefly when at another practice for sobering completely different, and very black and white subject. They gave me very brief and clear suggestions on the matter and left it at that, no videos incurred.
Roll on a few years and finding the same solicit at a different practice, I was looking for a different service which we had started conversations about. Shortly sheet this discussions I received a huge bill, with l which when comparing to other solicitors in the same field worked out to be over 10 times the amount.
Even after raising a complaint which never got another I note had to pay for a service that didn’t fit what I wanted and now have to go elsewhere and pay again for what I require!
Avoid otherwise you’ll get invoiced massively unknowingly!!
On a side note they wanted to charge an additional fee to carry out what I wanted, again at 10x of others. Wow
