Handed over a few coats for cleaning and a leather restoration of a very sentimental jacket that belonged to my late mum. I'm so thrilled how it turned out and the gentleman who served me was so polite and friendly, definitely a asset to the team. Think his name was xavier? Thank you very much, xx

Great service and excellent job. I needed curtains dry cleaning. The staff at Altrincham Cheshire were professional and advised me how to achieve the best result. The job was done promptly and I was allowed to collect when the work in the house was complete. I recommend this service highly.

The staff in poynton johnsons are so miserable. They never smile , never greet you, and seem generally pissed off to be there! And wo betide you if you dare to ring the call for assistance bell on their desk if nobody's around! Dont work there if you hate it so much! I dread coming in here but its my closest EVRI drop off point so dont really have a choice. Dreadful place.

Absolutely brilliant service from the team in Stourbridge. I took my son's coat in for a zip repair and minor tear to the sleeve and the repair was undertaken whilst I waited. The seamstress explained to me clearly the options and what the best course of action would be and was generally super friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team here.

0/5 Stars - Avoid Johnsons Cleaning Services at All Costs!

I'm writing this review as a warning to others: *DO NOT* trust Johnsons Cleaning Services with your valuable or delicate items, especially not a couture wedding dress made from three layers of pure silk. (Georgette silk, Habotai silk and bamboo silk).
I made the grave mistake of entrusting them with my £8,000 hand made silk gown, and the result was nothing short of catastrophic.

The dress was ruined. The intricate lace was damaged, the delicate fabric was stained and discolored, and the overall structure of the gown was compromised. It's as if they had no idea how to handle such a precious and fragile item.
When dropping off the dress the lady told me they only ever deal with polyester dresses where they bung them in the washing machine and then steam them. This should have rang alarm bells and I should have left but she reassured me my dress would be sent to a specialist who can clean the dress back to a pristine state.

The level of incompetence and lack of care displayed by Johnsons Cleaning Services is staggering. When I collected the dress for the first time I was met with a note which explained how they couldn’t remove the markings. The marking were not there when I dropped the dress to them, Water stains to the middle layer of silk. The gentleman who served me told me that ‘the dress was sent to a third party who probably had no idea how to clean such delicate silk and therefore have made it worse, it was Johnson’s trying to save themselves some money’ !!
Outraged by the comment and lack of sympathy I refused to take home the dress and asked for the manager to call me.. They seemed completely unconcerned about the damage they had caused. They reassured me they would send the dress off for a second time to a different specialist who would try to remove the marks which the first specialist caused.
Collecting the dress the second time round - the marks had been removed but by no means was the dress to a professional clean. I accepted the dress back as I couldn’t bare it getting anymore ruined. - I was told the manager had been fired due to my dress damage and others.

If you value your belongings and want to avoid the stress and heartache that I experienced, *DO NOT* use Johnsons Cleaning Services. Their incompetence is not worth the risk.

*Update:* I've contacted Johnsons Cleaning Services via Reslover as the lady in the store refused a full refund. I have now received the cleaning service payment back. However not good enough for the amount of damage and upset they have caused! Buyer beware!

I have just collected my duvet cleaned by Johnstons and it looks exactly the same as the day I dropped it off. It doesn’t smell any fresher either, is this normal? Wasn’t exactly cheap at £27!! Won’t be using again!

Once again, Lucy and her team have come to our rescue with our club mascot, Storty – the full-sized bear who proudly represents Bishop’s Stortford Rugby Club. Throughout the season, Storty is a familiar face in all weathers: travelling to away matches, cheering alongside the home fans, and bringing plenty of fun to our junior members.

This year, after a little too much rugby tackling, Storty suffered some wear and tear, with a couple of holes appearing. Thankfully, Lucy worked her magic, carrying out the repairs and restoring him to good-as-new, ready to keep supporting the club and community in the season ahead.

A fantastic job – and very much appreciated!

I had a very large pie of curtians that hung over a very large oval window in my house.
We were decorating the room so I decided to get them cleaned. I took them to Johnson’s cleaners in Asda Kettering. Cost of cleaning was £318.00. Expensive but I believed I had taken them to a reliable, professional cleaners.
When I collected them they were ripped to shreds! I was not offered any compensation and no refund.
The curtains cost £500.00 when I purchased them plus I have paid Johnson’s £318.00 to clean them now I will have to purchase new curtains that I am sure will now exceed the £500.00 paid for the curtains destroyed by Johnson’s! I am sure I’m going to be out of pocket to the sum ££1500.00 due to the crap service provided by Johnson’s cleaners in Corby, Northamptonshire!

Not good. Delivered a duvet for cleaning on 19/7, did not receive it back until 11/8, despite being advised when calling to enquire, it would be 10 days. Will not be using again. Went to an another local company, who cleaned another duvet i had in 3.5 days. The staff were polite and helpful though.

Having never used your Photo Printing service Ethan could see that we were reading the instructions on how things worked and quickly asked if he could help. Phew! Yes please. I was so relieved that I wasn't going to make a mess of the process now! He simply asked what I would like printing, I handed him my phone and, like a smooth operator, literally whizzed through each step and handed my phone back to me. Then told me that the prints would appear in the tray at the bottom and showed me where there were envelopes to put them in. And should I need any frames at all, there was a nice selection to the side. I thanked Ethan and he went off to continue with his other duties. Within no time the prints were delivered and they were perfect, popped them in an envelope and chose a frame. Ethan was at the counter when I went to pay and he asked if I would like one of the prints putting in the frame? He said he needed to trim it, took it to one side and came back with it framed. Honestly, we were blown away by his service and professionalism, he is a credit to Johnsons. Thank you again Ethan 🫶🏻

Terrible customer service. Curtains damaged, 3 eyelet rings have come out and also put my husbands wedding jacket in and they have lost it.No compensation for the hassle or distress caused for both items.would never use this service age, if you can call it that.i now have to waste more time, petrol taking my curtains back to the store where they were purchased to see if they can fix them.Waste of time and money on this company. Had no contact to say they had been returned to the Waitrose in Thatcham or that the curtains were damaged and jacket lost. Very poor customer service.

Avoid at all cost, especially for expensive clothing.

We took two suits to be dry cleaned via Waitrose, and they were sent to Johnson Cleaners.
When we handed in the suits they were in very good condition, with only a couple of minor creases.

When we got them back, the suits smelt strongly of chemicals that made us ill, plus the suits seemed to have shrunk a bit, and were extremely creased, and lots of wrinkles (puckered). It looked like they had shrunk the stitching.
After a bit of back and forth we had to return them to be fixed, even though we didn't really want to, as you can't really fix a shrunk suit.
When we received the suits back a second time, they came back even worse - twice as bad as when they had come back the first time.

There now isn't a single spot which isn't creased, and the suits are now extremely wrinkled and cannot be worn. They went from suits that looked new to being in the worst condition I've ever seen a suit, and stink to high heaven. Even if they hadn't ruined the suits, I probably wouldn't be able to wear them for long due to the chemical smells making my nose run.

I was intending to wear my suit for both my 21st birthday and my friend's graduation, both of which I've now had to go suitless to.

Awful service at Stafford store. I've used this store to collect parcels for over 12 months arrive today and because my parcel is initialled K and my name is Catherine with a C, they won't let me collect my parcel and as I don't have anything legal with the initial K, the parcel will now have to be returned. They would not accept my passport or driving licence with my photo, the address of delivery and my surname on. Ridiculous I've collected from here before and my daughter has also collected parcels for me, won't be using them again. Very jobsworth all for an initial !!!

Brilliant service and very professionally presented on completion. Job promised for collection in 3 days, I received a text later the same day to advise that te order could be collected. Exceptional.

Absolutely awful customer service! The woman that served my mother to take some parcels back was very rude and dismissive and only sent her away with one confirmation for the one parcel but not the other. I think you need to send your staff on a customer service course! Absolutely disgusting will never use these people again.
