Got straight to the problem.explained what the problem was, very happy with the service. Would recommend this company.

I dont normally do feedback unless something is exceptionally good or something is bad,so this is my account of my dealings with Julian Bland Ltd and namely Danny the owner.I got some quotes in and one was Danny who came round to evaluate the job and he seemed a decent courteous kind of guy and he stated he was booked up to early to mid october and subsequently he got the job.I soon found out that communication between the customer and Danny dosnt appear to be a strong point at all.call me old fashioned but when you shake on a deal you expect to recieve a approximate date and confirmation back from them at some point.no such thing came back from Danny. later on I asked the odd question about how the job was to done etc and put in a gentle nudge about the start date,again no comms at all .well weeks went by and nothing from Danny to confirm a exact start date so i sent a blunt message saying "are we on or not" this seemed to galvanise Danny into action and a start date was produced.the start date arrived and low and behold workmen arrived at 8.30am headed by Carl and 2 helpers.2 days later and the job was done, they were very clean and i thought they did a professional job.(apart from letting their Apprentice loose who dripped moulten solder on my nearly new bathroom carpet not once but twice)which I'm not happy about. obviously there was going to be air in the system and it needed to settle down thats when my problems started.I was getting radiators not working at all but not always the same ones.sometimes the system needed bleeding twice a day before it would get hot.I spent lots of my time balancing the entire system,(something that they said they would do on the job sheet) this went on and on and on until I rang Danny up to voice my concerns and to be fair he sent Carl out to me fairly promptly (probably because I hadn't yet paid) and the new pump they had fitted was bled yet again. still had a few problems namely 1 bedroom rad used to gurgle in the night and was always cold in the morning until it was bled and a large rad in my spare room which was fitted by somebody else which never really got that hot was now even less warm.I let this go on for many days (having the same cold rad in the morning etc) problem .By now I'd made the stupid mistake of being honorable and had paid the bill,I decided I needed to contact Danny again and was basically met with what appeared to be standard remarks "oh you will get air in the system for a while and it will need bleeding out which was no help at all to me.I asked Danny to get someone to come to me and and come up with a definite plan to correct this problem.Well it's now over 4 weeks plus later and nobody has shown up.I find even though it's a busy time of the year for them that as a paying customer that a date when somebody could show up is not too much to ask.The rad and the system appears to be working correctly now apart from the large spare room rad which is still Luke warm. Maybe it might be good customer PR to contact the customer with known problems and ask if the system is now ok and if not when would be the best time to send out a guy to sort out my problem.I'm very disappointed with their after care service,you have been warned if you pay before your satisfied then you can forget about them sorting any problems out for you.

I have used JBL before and Danny arranged for Carl to attend to my very ancient boiler just before Christmas, for a possible gas leak. Carl and his assistant diligently checked the boiler, meter and surrounding pipework, they installed a new seal and also found and remedied a small gas leak. They were courteous, caring, methodical and efficient - I would not hesitate to use JBL again.

Used JBL for last few years for both boiler servicing and general plumbing works.
They have always been professional, courteous, and good at their job. If there’s been any sort of issue they will sort it immediately.

The engineer (Alex) came within the time slot, to fit a smart thermostat. The work was conducted quickly and efficiently in spite of the customer (me) constantly asking questions! We are now able to bring the central heating on from our mobile phones, whenever we want, and have an internet connection! Good work, Thank You.

As we’ve always experienced, extremely prompt, efficient and courteous service from JBL, featuring Daz and Jay. You always feel that they would go the extra mile to ensure our central heating system/radiators work as efficiently as possible. They were also highly respectful of being in our property! Can’t recommend highly enough, their service levels are way above what we’ve experienced from other trade visitors.
5 stars all round!👏

Really great service - timely updates on expected arrival time, very knowledgeable technician who was very generous with his time to show me how the system worked (we had just moved into the house), including showing me how to rectify a couple of issues with how the system had been set up previously. This was over and above doing the service itself! Couldn't fault it and thought it was great value for money.

A very professional company. I've used them since moving here and I've been really impressed with the service and the response times. I wouldn't use anyone else!

Great job. These guys know they’re stuff, having used numerous plumbers in the past that only see problems it is refreshing to meet a solutions focused company!
So far they’ve kept our old oil boiler working and efficient for what it is.
They turn up on time everytime, and I have yet to present a problem they can’t fix. Lovely friendly, polite staff, a real credit to Danny’s company. Well done Alex!

It was really easy to make an appointment with Danny’s company, and our engineer came bang on time. He also let us know in advance when he was due to arrive. Even more important was very good work, thorough and good communication throughout.

It was very easy to make an appointment for my gas boiler to be serviced. Great communication - I was told exactly what the cost would be and given a narrow time-slot telling me when the engineer would appear - with confirmation by both text and email.
Daz and his colleague were very polite and friendly. They explained what the service entailed and were very helpful in giving me guidance in operating what is now quite an old gas boiler.

Brilliant service! Communicated perfectly throughout, turned up when they said they would and completed the work efficiently. I would definitely recommend!
