This is the 4th time iv used just go, they are very professional, the motorhomes are always high quality and presented well, will definitely use just go again

The crew at JustGo were great. I would request that the initial “get to know your RV” presentation get slowed down just a bit as understanding everything, especially with listening to different accents, was a bit difficult. I missed the fact that none of the RVs had microwaves, which is standard in USA. The RV was great though and easy to drive.

I was given my pick up time of 15:30 but there was a delay due to shortage of staff apparently. I didn't receive my motorhome till about 17:45. It completely messed up my plans for the day and part of the next day.

I've never rented a motorhome before so had no idea of the controls. The member of staff spent about 5 minutes if that, showing me through everything. He was clearly in a rush and just wanted to finish work.

The heating never worked properly in the motorhome and most nights I was absolutely freezing trying to go to sleep. One of the reasons I was looking forward to a motorhome in the first place was having heating. So this really spoilt the trip for me and the whole experience.

Booking and pick up were fine, simple and straightforward. Team at the pick up point were friendly and knowledgeable. Reason for the lower star rating was due to many defects with the hired van.
Bed in rear compartment was damaged.
Safety net anchors for the raised bed were damaged/missing on several fittings.
One of the bench bases for the seats at the table was not screwed in at all so count be used due to it collapsing onto equipment located under it.
Black out blind in rear compartment was torn.

Highlighted the above issues to the depot when the van was returned and, whilst apologetic, nothing was done or any form of good will gesture offered against a future hire. I inferred from the conversation was that they don’t check these things due to a tight turnaround from the vans being returned to going back out again.

Had there been no issues with the van, the score would’ve been higher because the overall experience was positive and the team were friendly. Just make sure you fully check everything before driving it away for your booking.

Pick-up and return of the vehicle was quick and smooth, although the introduction to the motorhome was in kind of a hurry. The choice and number of pots und pans was totally ramdom and useless.

We are veteran RVers in the USA, owning 2, traveling cross country multiple times and renting them out. This was our first experience of renting and driving one outside of the US, and it was all around wonderful! The RV had so many nice little amenities built in, much nicer than most US RVs, we would probably rent one a bit smaller next time- just for ease of traveling around the tiny roads of Scotland, but overall- from picking up to dropping off- it was a wonderful experience in the RV we rented!

Wir wurden bei der Übergabe ab 16 Uhr gesetzt; es begann schließlich um 16.30 Uhr; bei dem Fahrzeug wurde ein Schaden an der Tür festgestellt, der sich nicht kurzfristig beheben ließ; das Ersatzfahrzeug hatte wieder Probleme mit der Tür, was dann aber von einem MA schnell behoben wurde, so dass wir um 17.30 Uhr starten konnten; beim Einkaufen stellten wir fest, dass von dem gebuchten Tisch und 4 Stühle, 2 Stühle fehlten. Auf dem Parkplatz traf ich dem MA der mit uns die Übergabe erledigt hatte; er teilte mit, dass wir uns 2 Stühle kaufen und dann den Beleg zur Erstattung bei der Rückgabe einreichen sollen, es würde dann erstattet; ca. 2 Wochen nach Ende war noch nichts da, wären so ca. 15-16 Euro; das Mobil klapperte im Küchenbereich wo sich immer wieder eine Abdeckung löste, die wir ca. 20 - 30 mal reindrückten aber es hielt nicht dauerhaft; es wurden keine Keile (!!!) mitgegeben; durch einen Zufall konnte ich welche frühzeitig organisieren, sonst wäre der Schlaf in vielen Nächte unangenehm geworden; unterwegs trafen wir auch einen Mieter von Bunk Campers/Just Go, der kein Keile hatte, also kein Versehen bei uns sondern der Normalfall, was von erfahrenen Campern wie uns nicht akzeptabel ist. Der Urlaub war so toll, das wir uns davon nicht runterziehen lassen wollen, aber Bunk Campers/Just Go hat noch Luft nach oben. Update: BunkCampers / JustGo hat scheinbar keine Luft nach oben. Nach ca. 5 Wochen und einigen Anfragen mit konkreten Hinweisen zu dem Vorgang hat sich nichts getan. Ich geh davon aus, dass den Mitarbeitern, die mir am 19.9. die Erstattung bei der Übergabe des Belegs zusagten, schon damals klar war, dass sie sich nicht darum kümmern werden. Es ging um ca. 15-16 €, kann ich verkraften, aber es hat das negative Bild der schlechten Organisation und Zuverlässigkeit bestätigt. Daher jetzt nur noch 1 Stern.

Easy to book - very helpful and good advice. Friendly staff at pick-up and drop-off. Lovely RV - easy to drive and handle. We had great fun !! Thank you - we'll be back next year...

We are very unhappy with our experience. Our complaint about a malfunction in the motorhome as well as other maintenance issues with the van have been dismissed.
Would not recommend.

+ motorhome was in good shape and we had no trouble with it
- very short, inflexible pick-up window making it difficult to plan your flight to Edinburgh Airport with enough time to pick up the vehicle
- they were low on staff, so staff we met were very stressed and not too friendly at first, it took an hour before they got to us and we arrived right at the beginning of the pick-up window
- they have strict refund policy, so make absolutely sure you will make the pick-up window

Clear terms and conditions, fast handling of pick-up and return of the camper. Friendly staff.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4.5/5 – "Fantastic Motorhome just shy of Perfect"
The booking experience with Just Go Motorhomes (Edinburgh location) was exceptionally easy – a simple, streamlined process that made getting started stress-free. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our trip due to my partner suffering an accident and breaking their ankle. Thankfully, postponing was handled with minimal fuss and the team accepted the change with understanding.

However, the communication around the revised pricing for the new dates left a bit to be desired. The final price adjustment for the 8-week postponement was unclear, and the £150 administration fee felt excessive and poorly justified.

Leading up to our pickup, we were kept well-informed, which we really appreciated. We timed our journey to Edinburgh carefully to arrive for our 14:00 collection slot. On arrival, we were asked to wait. After about 40 minutes, we were finally updated that the fridge/freezer in the motorhome had a minor issue. Another 45 minutes passed without further updates, and at that point, frustration did start to set in. We wondered why the fridge/freezer issue was not identified and fixed well before pick up.

That said, the staff were courteous and professional. They offered a goodwill gesture of waiving the requirement to return the van with a full tank of diesel, which we appreciated.

Once we hit the road, the motorhome itself was excellent – very clean, comfortable, and easy to drive. The young lady who provided the initial handover was helpful and friendly, although a bit more in-depth knowledge of the van’s features would have been welcome. For example, we were told there was no built-in satnav, only to later discover that there was. Additionally, the gas bottle was not full at pickup and ran out after six days, leaving us scrambling to find an LPG refill station – a stressful and avoidable issue. We would suggest adding a few hanging hooks for coats and wet towels, also, a full inventory list would be good to run through prior to departing as we found that there were no cups and saucers for Tea or |Coffee.

We encountered a few minor issues with the control panel, and unfortunately, the technical support team does not operate on Sundays. This added some anxiety during the trip, but thankfully did not spoil the overall enjoyment of our 10-day journey.

Despite the hiccups, our experience with Just Go was overwhelmingly positive. The van was a joy to travel in, and the young women working at the depot were attentive, helpful, and engaging. We would definitely recommend Just Go Motorhomes and are already looking forward to returning next year – this time introducing friends visiting from New Zealand to a new adventure on the road.

I recently rented a motorhome with Just Go and had a fantastic experience. The vehicles are brand new, very comfortable, and well-equipped. The pickup process was quick and smooth, saving us a lot of time. On top of that, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend Just Go to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable motorhome rental.
