Saw this site recommended in a lot of online forums, has a lot of free lessons and then even more paid apps and tabs.

Pros: Fabulous content, great tuition. Worldwide community. Super active. Always there for you on your guitar journey. :)
Cons: Over reliance on user monetisation, paywalls, and too many apps. :(
Could build faster and better by tapping sponsors, not loyal users - loyalty deserves reward, rather than exploitation.

Justin Guitar gives me all the help and resources I need from the elementary to the advanced. I've been using these resources since I first picked up a guitar seven years ago at age 73.

Videos are a great tool to learn new songs and techniques. Very clear and well organized and lots of fun too!

Justin Guitar website helped me to learn when I was an absolute beginner. The organization of the website is so good that I never felt lost even though I barely knew anything about playing guitar. The practice routine and Nitsuj follow along videos were game changers for me. Within 6 months, I was confidently playing the chords and strumming my favourite songs. Hi there! I'm a sixty years old Italian guy and during the lockdown I decided to learn some guitar. Discovering Justinguitar was amazing. There are tons of lessons (songs, chords, licks, etc) on the YouTube channel you can pick randomly or, with a free registration on the Justinguitar website and starting from lesson one (and that would be recommended if you want to learn faster and in a more consistent way), you can let Justin and his team walk you through the guitar secrets, from the basic notions to ... wherever you are heading, I suppose. The app and all the tools created are so useful and, if one can afford it, would certainly speed up and easy the journey (a journey that can be frustrating sometimes, so it is for me anyway). As I said, I'm italian and Justin lessons are so clearly expressed that I found no problems following along even when it gets into theory or ... philosophy (yes you'll find some interesting hints of that as well). I would highly recommend Justinguitar to everyone who wants to learn or improve their guitar skills.

I found Justin guitar on YouTube 16 years ago and it is still my favorite for tutorials and free lessons. It is great!
