Very impressed with the service. Even when something has gone wrong the customer support has been 10/10. Ease of use with auto insert of esim and easy top up with a saved card

Easy to use, easy to install, great coverage and bandwidth while I was travelling in Australia, sometimes I was getting better coverage than the locals! Couldn’t recommend it more strongly, and I saved a lot of money.

Simple to install and provided seamless connectivity while travelling abroad at great prices.

The esim worked well. I never had an issue.

I have been using knowroaming for around 9 years. There were always some issues when connecting the network in some countries. Tech support are helpful in telling you how to config the settings in admin page. But you cant get help if you are not on internet.

The most frustrating thing is when you buying the data plan. I switched to knowroaming sim and then immediately I chose the plan I wanted and activated it right away. I confirmed it is activated and start using it. However it still got charged by pay-as-you-go basis and burnt all of my credits. Customer services insisted that ,base on their record, I have been using it before I activated it (i.e. I used 32MB 1min before I activated the plan and that burnt almost 10usd out of my pocket. I was using the airport wifi, there is no way that my phone was downloading when it connected to knowroaming in that min). As a "courtesy", they only refund the data package $3.99 to me. This happened twice to me.

My sim sticker will discontinue anyway, just want to use the remains credits before it expires. Didnt expect end up an unhappy ending.

Luckily that I found another provider that charges only 10% of what knowroaming does.

Credits and plans expire after 9 months without any notice or further warning.
I lost a lot of money because I was not aware.
That company lives on your money, people. If you do not travel at least every 9 months, they just bank your payments. That sounds like a scam to me.

Used the esim for both my trips to the UK and Netherlands this year! It was easy to install and made things easier to be connected for maps amd socials.

I recently used KnowRoaming on a trip to Europe, and it was a total game-changer for international travel. I used the iOS app, and it was super easy to set up my eSIM. When I landed, I could instantly get online and let my family know I was there. I was also waiting for an important email that I got while I was there, and the best part was that I could call my Uber. It totally took all the stress out of the final leg of my journey. I think they recently rebranded because their site looks new and modern.

I'm leaving one star, simply because there is no option for zero stars.
I traveled to Switzerland and needed data immediately after entering the country. That's why I bought KnowRoaming so-called "Europe" eSIMM package. Well, it turned out that in KnowRoaming's geography Switzerland is not in Europe and the "Europe" plan doesn't work there. Contacting the help desk was useless, they just told me I should have read the small print before ordering.

AVOID THESE SCAMMERS

Didn't work on the two occasions I bought a global esim of theirs for my S21. The one time it worked neither in Germany, nor Turkey nor Georgia. Their support is responsive (hence two stars), and they confirmed from my Screenshots that all settings were correct. But you will have wasted easily an hour on to-ing and fro-ing, by the time you finally give up, and remain offline.
The other time it worked so. what, but only after lots of work and arriving in the second country, and having had a 60€ fine slapped on me for roaming charges in Turkey.

We have used KnowRoaming SIM Stickers for years in multiple countries with mostly quite good results. However, when we arrived in Rome a few weeks ago, I could not get either of our phones to place calls successfully. They could receive but not dial out. KR support suggested a whole host of things to try, including dropping down to 3G (my iPhone 13 does not support that, and my past experience with 3G on older phones with KR was terrible). I finally gave up, went to a TIM Store and got “TIM Tourist” cards, good for 30 days with 200 minutes and a whopping 50GB for €14.95 + €10 registration fee (you have to register with your passport in Italy). The salesperson installed the cards and tested them, and they have worked flawlessly.

KnowRoaming no longer offers the sticker, just a data-only eSIM. It may be that support for the sticker has gone by the wayside.

Here is a recap of the main issue.The refund was denied by them at a later date: There are many instances where people need to continue to conduct home or business needs while abroad and I fail to understand how your policy of denying short code sms or any other manner of authenticating is helpful. It appears knowroaming is not keeping up with these times of identity theft, fraud, etc.
Ruth, please escalate my problem to the president of knowroaming. I should not have to request that this be investigated so many times and you are not doing anything positive to satisfy this previously satisfied customer.
Alternatively, I request a refund of the balance of my account of $33.55 as of Feb. 2/2023 and I will go obtain a Mexican Sim card.
Mar. 21/23 After the above was submitted, they gave me a "one-time" exception refund, "as a courtesy".

I have used their data packages in Europe
, The Caribbean and USA. Once you get the right KR code for the provider and country it works great. The reason for a three star rather than higher is two fold. First they no longer allow unlimited data packages and the voice calling seldom works no matter how much you fiddle with the settings as advised by their help line. Texting is hit and miss.

Sim card took ages to arrive in Europe, got charges all kind of import duties and was held by local mail a long time, upon installation it did not work, also not for my bank sending sms (so using their short code) as it should with a normal US based service, no reply for weeks now deposit repeat emails and ticket numbers of their non functioning tech support

Absolutely awful. Firstly, the SIM cost C$25 (~US$20) which included a flat rate US$8 shipping fee which is absolutely outrageous (see below). Secondly, I ordered the SIM on December 14th (with an expected delivery of 5 to 9 days); it is now 3 weeks later (January 4th) and still no sign of it. The SIM was for a trip with my family in late December which has now come and gone and is absolutely useless to me now. FYIO, it was dispatched from Hong Kong, China, and had to pass through their customs on the way out and customs on the way in. It baffles me that this company would not have supplies of SIMs in the US or Canada for the North American market ... who has to order a travel SIM a month in advance of their trip? Thirdly, while responses from Knowroaming were prompt, they parroted back the same response time and time again, that they were sorry for the inconvenience but could not tell me where my SIM was and when it was expected. Given the circumstances, I asked for a refund and was advised they would only provide one once the SIM had been returned to them. Not a great way to treat a customer (who hasn't even used their service yet).

I bought eSIM for Bahamas, work fine, but after 2 days it stops working. I used their ticketing system to ask for a solution. The reaction was prompt and it turns out that local telco had some issues. They advise me how to fix my phone on another operator and everything is fine now. Very professional service (Amy).
