Excellent maps, incredibly detailed
Received my maps yesterday and separated them out into topic area. They are excellent, however, I've awarded 4/5 stars for 2 reasons:
1. The paper is very thin and care needs to be taken not to tear it. Given the size and number the maps, thicker grade paper should be used; and
2. An option to download online maps would be fantastic - and would save a lot of physical space! (apologies if there is an online option, however, I did not see it when purchasing)

Thanks so much for the review, Richard - and we'll definitely take 4 stars gladly. We need to manage costs of both printing and postage, and hence we have to make compromises. The thicker the paper, the more it costs to produce and to post - because it increases in weight. Also, we have toyed with offering online options, but unfortunately this has been abused in the past, and also mind maps really need to be laid out in full so the entire shape is mapped into our brains. It works much better that way, otherwise you're just viewing bubbles on a screen. Mind mapping learning technique doesn't work as well that way. Either way, all the best with any upcoming exams.

Very impressed
Very impressed. Whoever puts these together deserves a medal. Would have clicked 5 stars but the size of the sheets are rather big to work with - not a complaint because there is so much on there and I suppose it can't go too small or it would be unreadable.

Good idea but...
The idea of my minds is very good in general. However, the criminal set are incomplete. For instance, there is no criminal damage.
Another problem is that for the mind maps are printed are ordinary paper which tears easily when handling, particularly as the maps are large.

Not all courses cover exactly the same syllabus, but we generally provide the core subjects that are required of each course we provide for. As you rightly identify, the paper is standard paper, hence we're confused as to why you think it might tear easily when handling. Nevertheless, we appreciate the feedback.
Makes revision easy
These mind maps make law revision so much less painful and law exams far less stressful. 5 stars all the way.

These mind maps are a great idea and a resource everyone studying in the law should have. They clarify in a really concise way those precedents that have moulded the uk legal system over time.

Very good level of detail
Very good level of detail, just what we need as law students. However, there is a little too much detail on one page to be able to read comfortably without having to go up quite close to them. With the same level of very good level of detail, they could be redesigned to perhaps encompass the same information, but over perhaps one page of paper thereby making the font size bigger.

Regarding the level of detail, one of the challenges law students face is the amount of information they have to study. LawMindMaps aim to strike a balance between brevity and depth of detail required to achieve outstanding grades in law exams. It's better for students to have all the information they need for a particular topic on one LawMindMap sheet, so their brain can view and remember all the interrelationships between cases, statute and rules. Referring to separate pages doesn't work as well for the mind mapping approach to learning. We are also mindful of trying to keep costs down for law students - the more pages we print the more expensive the products would become. We also spread information across each A1 sheet so it is far less dense than text books or practice books. Nevertheless we've taken this very useful feedback on board and will see what we can do to implement it. All the best with any upcoming exams.

I ordered one topic of ADR. It came all wrinkled up in worst shape ever that now its no use to me. There is so much going on one page that its impossible to follow it priperly. Waste of money!

Hi Faiza, we're really sorry that your LawMindMap was damaged during delivery. Had you contacted us about it we would of course have arranged a replacement or a refund for you. However, it seems that you might be struggling with the amount of information within the mind map: as you're aware the BPTC requires a very detailed knowledge of the law. The BPTC LawMindMaps strike a balance between brevity and depth of detail required to achieve outstanding grades. The information is spread across each A1 sheet and is far less dense than what you would have to work with in Blackstones Criminal Practice or The White Book. We really wish you well in your exams and hope you find a study aid to help you succeed.

Amazing MindMaps! so helpful and really useful when trying to learn a tricky subject! I pinned them to my walls and was so much easier to understand then being overwhelmed with the amount of reading and jargon on the LPC. Thanks so much!! I would highly recommend to anyone undertaking the LPC!

Really in depth but compact information
The most I was waiting from ordering the mindmaps for part of my course was a week. I was so happy with what I saw even at only a quick glance that my intention is to purchase the criminal law mindmaps in the forthcoming month ready for January and starting that. Will see if my grades increase over the year by using them and if so will start to get them for next years course.

Life saving mind maps!
I honestly cannnot recommend law mind maps enough! They literally saved my legal career! In my first attempt I failed equity and then after using lawmind maps I smashed my exam! They are well structured and easy to follow! They included all important cases you need and are straight to the point! The case summaries are so precise, I remember sitting in my exam and literally visioning the mind map, I answered my questions by literally following the structure of the mind map! I will definitely be purchasing some for my LPC! They’re a life saver! Thank you

My law grades have taken an huge jump from 2.1 to First due to studying with Law Mind Maps.
For the rest of my studies, my money is going to get spent investing on these for all my future law exams, essays and dissertations.
