Very fast ordering, notification and delivery thank you

Very quick delivery and order was in good condition!

Came in with an expensive Sony camera where the lens wouldn't retract anymore. The staff recognised me from my visit two days prior, inspected, reset and cleaned my camera and fixed the problem within minutes. Excellent, friendly, expert service - and no charge for what fortunately turned out to be a minor problem, easy to resolve (though I still wouldn't attempt it myself!).

The service was excellent although one person in the Reading shop was not nice at all. In fact I used to work in the trade over 20 years ago and I remember this person. He was a a lot nicer then than now. Maybe he had an off day but that is still no excuse in the retail world

Have used LCE many times always friendly and efficient. This time I changed my mind and returned the camera. Accepted with no quibble and refunded

Great comms from the store and quick postage. Excellent lens and great having the serial number etc on the paperwork.

Ordered on Saturday evening and arrived Tuesday. Can’t fault anything about LCE

Big problems with the delivery company but chap in Reading branch sorted everything out for me. Great Service.

I’ve had a really good experience with London Camera Exchange overall. The service has been excellent — friendly, knowledgeable staff who clearly care about what they’re doing, and they made the whole process easy from start to finish. Delivery was prompt, communication was clear, and the equipment was exactly as described.

If I had one small suggestion, it would be to cut back a bit on the number of marketing emails that follow. It’s a minor point compared to the quality of their service, but it would make the experience perfect.

I purchased a pair of 8 x 25 Hawke frontier binoculars. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and gave me plenty of time to make my mind up about which binoculars to buy. The binoculars were excellent value and the optical quality was as good as the Swarovski binoculars I tried. The shop was easy to find and only few minutes walk from Reading station.

Quick delivery and response from them. My order unfortunately had an issue with the camera I ordered but I got a quick response from them with what my options are and the problem has been fixed quickly

Got an online valuation for two cameras which I was happy with so took them into my local branch.

After inspection and testing the valuation was confirmed.

Full payment by Bank Transfer received the following day.

I have nothing but praise for the gents in the Reading store. I asked for help in choosing a camera. You asked for my budget and needs. The advice was great and a purchase was made. Some ten days later I've been on a great day photographing birds of prey with LCE and (happily) blown my budget twice over! 😆 Thank you.

Lens disappointing. Cosmetically excellent but very 'soft' or to be accurate not very sharp. Reviews from people I respect led me to believe that it would be sharp - so I shall be returning it im afraid.
Lens arrived as expected and no problems with the ordering process so overall 3 stars.
