It's a great experience

Bought our flat at the end of last year, the whole process was dragged out with multiple bits of information missed, including sharing of confidential information with incorrect parties, giving misleading or apathetic advice (which would have required a very expensive change to our lease which it turns out was never required) and having to be informed of basic information found from Google searches by us (after chasing for weeks with minimal responding). My partner spent dozens of hours essentially doing their job for them. The whole experience left us with a bad taste, and a settlement was reached through the ombudsman for these issues. Just found out they had held another deposit for the past 9 months with no explanation even when directly asked, and had only returned it when our file was closed.

Avoid.

I came to LPL needing a transfer of equity and remortgage after separating from my partner, which is not the sort of thing anyone looks forward to sorting out. I'd been quoted by a handful of firms and honestly expected months of chasing people for answers.

It couldn't have been further from that. Daniel Gardner handled my file from start to finish and I don't think I ever waited more than a few hours for a reply. I spotted a misspelling, the corrected version came back within seven minutes. When I got stuck on a question on the stamp duty declaration, he just answered it plainly and told me he'd already accounted for it.

The part that impressed me most was when my ex's solicitors couldn't complete on the agreed date because they were switching banks. Daniel had a revised completion statement and a new date sorted the same morning, with no drama and no extra cost to me. We completed on 28th September exactly as planned.

Every figure matched what I'd been quoted, every document was explained before I signed it, and I always knew what was happening. I've never had a legal transaction run this smoothly. Thank you Daniel.

Poor communication, lack of empathy or any understanding of the stress caused. Overcharged for documents. Horrific experience! 5 months for a remortgage was more costly and took longer than buying.

Communication was not great at the start and lots of double handling throughout the whole process without explaining things clearly. Also found we had to do a lot of chasing regarding things.

The whole LPL were very helpful from the beginning to the End, especially Tim who was my solicitor from the beginning to the end any questions and issues were always answered.

Can't fault LPL on my flat purchase. Beatrice was quick to respond, pro-active in all aspects and gave me great advice. Excellent service.

Irene went above and beyond to make the purchase transition as smooth and efficient as possible. Irene has also worked for me on 2 previous sales and I would highly recommend her as a seasoned professional who not only knows her business, but does everything to ensure the customer receives a level of service that is second to none.

I was really impressed with Daniel. He handled my case very well keeping me informed at every stage. He was always available to handle queries and notified me when he would be on leave which is important when working to a deadline. I would highly recommend LPL for an exceptional service. Simple platform, good communication and timely - within a day or so for most enquiries. Sympathetic to needs requirements and quick to help with the most mundane of task without question.

I used LPL to sell/buy properties. The communication was excellent, Ali was so responsive, kept me updated and supported navigate various challenges throughout the transactions. You get a fabulous service for a reasonable price and I have already recommended LPL to friends. Whilst I hope not to move for many years, I'd use them again.

Had an initial slow start with no responses but after that, communication, albeit virtually all by email was good, effective and prompt. The option to speak by phone was there but email for our circumstances was adequate.

Overall, a good service provided.
