The owner of this company is one of life's disliked, morally corrupt characters who is happy to rip anyone off as long as he gets what he wants. The way he treats his staff there is no wonder no one has a nice word to say about him and why we all took pleasure in ripping him off for hours and not doing our jobs to his satisfaction. In this world you reap what you sew, if this is true the owner of this company will die a lonely man, that makes me smile.

And it only a 1 start as I couldn't give none.... don't work for these if you go on sick as u have a sickness bug they just don't pay u and assume you left as you not gone in and don't call you to give you ur work in few days time expect you to work over the hours management Sarah needs a course in public speaking and how to deal with public as I wouldn't speak to a dog the way she speaks to people she has no manners and everywhere you put a negative feed back regarding this or her ypu get blocked from that page why if it all true which it is they swop and change who you need to speak to and you can not speak to the director John apparently as I have just been informed

Absolutely disgusting management (Sarah) my partner has just rang in saying I can’t make it in today as I’m unwell she then started arguing with my partner over the phone she then asked that I went into see them them at 4 on Mandy to see them my partner said if he is well enough he will and the response was well if he not well he needs to go hospital all I got is a bug that picked up through family having the same bug all week. She then proceeded to say we will ring at 10 in the morning to speak to me. Well won’t be speaking to them as they can shove the job where the sun don’t shine. For anyone wanting to go and work for them or coach travel I would stay away from this firm whilst working there for last 8 weeks I’ve had nothing but bother of them working 15 hour days and then have to make way home from Scotland in car

DO NOT USE LINBURG UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
As an ex-driver of Linburg I can easily believe all of the other horror stories on here are true. The drivers generally do try their best, they really do, but John Hadaway is the worst manager you can imagine (and will barefaced lie to cover things up). Read John's response to Stuart 11/2/19 below and decide for yourself who you believe.

09th November 2022 (2) coaches parked outside the milenium gallery completely blocking arundal gate causing an obstruction and gridlocked totally ignorant rung office and hung up on me DIABOLICAL SENT PHOTOS TO THE TRAFFIC COMMISIONER

Absolutely fuming! canceled last week because driver was “sick” probably had to many cigarettes . Then he finally took us to alton towers but decided to leave us stranded there for 2 hours. sending kids home really late. Fuming!

Travelled from Sheffield to London and back again over two days. The toilet was overflowing 1 hour into the journey and there were only 15 passengers on board so couldn’t have been emptied before travel.
The driver dropped us off at the top of a road and told us to walk with our suitcases 5 mins to the tower hotel in London.
Other coaches were pulling up outside when we finally arrived, no problems.
The return journey was the same driver and same coach. The toilet was still overflowing with urine and the coach still had the rubbish in the same places from the morning before. The driver was told by another driver to stop every 1.5 hours to allow us to use the toilet. We had to ask him to stop.
Terrible service and would put me off travelling with linburg again.

Stupid bus company, late and was 1hr late for a school service which was the 254!

My suitcase was stolen off a Linburg bus. The driver handed it to some unknown person. The bus was operated by Megabus, which Megabus are now saying is Linburg. Neither of these companies want to assist me. I messaged Linburg on facebook but have been blocked by them. Avoid this bus service.

Disgusting !! Large party of 30 on a trip to Barmouth 8hrs , No Running Water taps not working after using the Toilet! Driver was advised but he replied “ As long as the Toilet flushes that’s all that Matters ! We ask for him to stop at a Services so we could use working facilities and wash properly he Refused !! Then a Strong Smell of Sewage on the Coach which we had to injure all this both ways !!
We are waiting for a reply as 30 people will be reporting this to a Health & Safety executive as this must STOP !!

Contacted the company to complain that their vehicles were illegally blocking service bus stops and this meant a wheelchair user was unable to get off the bus at their stop since the bus couldn't safely deploy the ramp.

The director responded by insulting me and stating I had an attitude problem.

Excellent service. They were on time, professional friendly staff from booking to coach drivers in every aspect. The coach was clean and warm, and always respected our request when needed to stop with no complaints.

Certainly will be recommending them to others and most definitely be using them again.

Woeful, unreliable company but I think you will have worked that out from the director's responses to other reviews on the internet...

Terrible. Drivers are unsafe. No care for safety. Just had one of their drivers try to force me off the road, flashing their lights repeatedly; then leaving them on full beam trying to blind me. I was in a 50mph average speed zone on the m1. I wasn’t going to speed up and risk getting a ticket so stayed at 50. The coach eventually undertook me using the outer lane. Stupid driving. I hope the driver gets a ticket.

There response to my complaint is now as follows.

We have reviewed the coach CCTV system footage of the incident and I have to say that your partner, and it would seem you too, need to undertake some additional road-craft training as a matter of extreme urgency, both for your own safety and that of other road users. I believe that our drivers - and other professional drivers - refer to such selfish and incompetent motorists as "f-ing a***holes". Whilst I would question the suitability of their industrial language, I would wholeheartedly endorse their sentiment. It is difficult to believe the level of incompetence that was being displayed, unless your behaviour was being influenced by drugs or alcohol.

In the interim, I would suggest very strongly that you travel by train; Or better still, by coach. In the case of the latter however, you will certainly need to moderate your ignorant and arrogant attitude towards our staff.

Very good service booked for 6am was there on time put all our puchchairs in the coach and really polite highley recomended.

Booked Linburg for our graduation ball (out and return.) For the return journeys they were 45 minutes and 1.5 hours late respectively. Communication during this time was minimal, I made 3 phone calls for which we were promised a call back and none was received. We had nowhere to wait so had approx 100 people sat in a car park. Bank holiday was blamed, however I believe as an established travel company, they should be able to account for busier times. They also sent a double decker bus for a journey across the Peak District which was absolutely unnecessary and completely unsuitable. Grounding the coach and removing a large part of the road, taking off wing mirrors and having to stop due to the engine overheating because the 'engine doesn't like hills' were just some of the problems on the hair-raising journey home. One of the drivers was rude, telling people to ignore my request to split into two groups so there would be some on each coach, and also telling me that he hated all members of our profession, something that would be unacceptable in any professional setting. The driver of the double decker coach did not seem quite right, his driving was dangerous and he was muttering to himself throughout the entire journey. We have contacted the company on 3 occasions now hoping for some apology or recompense and have heard nothing back.

The Tesco shuttle service, Monday and Thursday from Sheffield 8 to Tesco, Abbeydale Road is unreliable and does not run to time is often late and sometimes doesn't turn up at all, which is very frustrating when you are waiting for the return journey with several shopping bags.
Come on Linburg, sort out your services for your customers please.

Hired Linburg for a wedding that involved a few different venues.
Provided a detailed list of times and postcodes, with suggested routes for the drivers.
Drivers didn't know the times or how to get to places. A 30 minutes journey took 75 minutes - with no traffic.
Bus leaked and a number of seats were wet.
So the majority of our guests missed the drinks reception and we have a few bridesmaids with wet dresses.
When I raised these issues with customer services, they claimed no responsibility and offered me 10% off my next booking!!!

I warn anybody reading this review to not use this company!!! We booked them for a hen party on Saturday. To start the driver did not even pick us up where he should of. From the off he was having difficulties keeping the bus going.... He was driving all over the road..... To us all the bus driver was not quite with it.... He told us that there was not another bus to pick us up as they were all in Sheffield. He would have to wait for a mechanic. When we told him we had to be in Nottingham at 7.15pm he said 'thats not my problem'. I asked him if there was a number we could ring to ensure we were getting picked back up at the end of the night so he gave me a piece of paper with emergency numbers on. One of the ladies rang the number and was told that the bus driver knew it was a faulty bus earlier on but didn't report it. We had to race to the bus station to get a bus into nottingham so that we wouldnt be late for our booking, some had to get taxis. As we were reassured that a different bus would be picking us up for our return journey we waiting outside our venue for nearly 30minutes waiting for the bus, nothing turned up. Numbers were tried but no answer. Since being in touch with the company, we have basically been accused of being drunk, pinching the drivers piece of paper and because it was our decision to get off the bus we are not entitled to a refund. I am disgusted at the customer service we have received, not had one apology. Basically we have paid for a service that they did not provide yet they will not give us our money back. I have since read a review on this company which i wish id read before booking from someone having a similar problem with them. They were also taken to court in 2012 for drivers not having proper breaks etc. Maybe this is what was wrong with our driver, he wanted a nap instead of taking us to our venue!!!!!! DISGUSTED..... DO NOT USE

made a booking, ordered 2 coaches for my brothers wedding day and paid on that basis. on the day of the booking they sent 1 double decker and simply fobbed us off with some rubbish about the other bus breaking down and having tried to contact us. this was unacceptable to us due to certain cultural issues (women and men should travel on separate coaches as the men tend to be drunk on the way back from the wedding reception). now they refuse to refund us on the basis that only 1 coach turned up and worse they keep changing their story as to why they feel they are not at fault. I'm now taking this up with my solicitor as well as the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK. You (the public) have been warned!!!
