I took a large amount of items, probably retailing around £1000 on CSD's site, to my local shop back in December. They provided me with absolutely no updates so I asked for the items back 6 months later. They said they'd sold my items, which I found odd since they'd never notified me. Now I have asked for the money from these sales and customer service has completely ghosted me.

CSD are theives. They sold my items and didn’t pay me. Finally I had to accept that they would give me store credit. Utter scammers

My experience with Consigned Sealed Delivered Ltd has been extremely disappointing.
On 13 March 2026, I consigned a pair of Prada shoes and a Milly coat with the company. Their Pricing Team valued the items at £630. After that, I heard absolutely nothing.
It was only when I contacted the company myself on 8 June to ask what had happened to my items that I was informed they had already been sold. At no point was I proactively notified of the sale.
Despite the items having been sold, I have still not received the money owed to me.
Over the following weeks, I repeatedly contacted customer services. Every response has been virtually identical: they say they are "chasing the accounting team" or that my case is "under review." No one in the accounts department can apparently be contacted directly, and I have been given no meaningful explanation for the delay or any definite payment date.
As a customer, I entrusted this company with valuable designer items in good faith. Once those items were sold, I expected to be paid promptly. Instead, I have spent months chasing money that should have been paid without me having to ask.
After searching online, I was concerned to find that other customers appear to describe very similar experiences involving delayed payments. Reading those reviews has made me question whether my case is an isolated incident or part of a wider pattern.
I have now reached the point where I am considering legal action through the Small Claims Court to recover the money owed to me.
Until this matter is resolved, I cannot recommend this company. If you are thinking of consigning valuable items with them, I would urge you to carry out thorough research first and be aware that, based on my experience, you may have to spend considerable time chasing payment after your items have been sold.

🚨 WARNING TO ALL CONSIGNORS: CSD Selling Inventory and Withholding FundsDo not trust Consigned Sealed Delivered (CSD) with your luxury items. Their primary Notting Hill boutique on Ledbury Road has permanently closed down, and their operations have completely collapsed.They accepted a massive high-value luxury collection from me months ago. According to their own official inventory manifest dated 1 July 2026, they are now only holding 8 remaining unsold items at their Marylebone location. This means they have successfully liquidated and sold the vast majority of my inventory, collected the cash from buyers, and are now unlawfully retaining my funds. I have received absolutely zero payouts. They completely ignore emails or rely on generic, automated corporate stalling tactics ("case escalated for priority review") while refusing to provide a basic Statement of Account or release my money.If you are a current consignor, demand your items back immediately before this business goes into insolvency or compulsory liquidation. I am currently launching formal investigations with London Trading Standards, Action Fraud, and the UK County Court via Money Claim Online to recover the thousands of pounds they are withholding from me.CSD Management: Clear my wire transfer and provide my statement of account immediately.

CSD are liars and thieves! How dare they write to customers on here that they have been paid when NOTHING has been paid ?! Will not stop posting until money owed is in my account CSD! Sellers beware, CSD wil sell your items and NEVER pay you .. stay away from fraudulent business that should be shut down.

I can guarantee this is a SCAM and that they are thieves. CSD has had my items for over three years and every month they tell me they have all sold and yet have not been able to send me my statement and less my money. Do NOT use them! Thieves- you should be embarrassed

Do not use!! They sold my shoes and it took months for them to pay me. I had to chase and chase for payment!

MASSIVE SCAM
Just like the others i noticed my items were sold 4 months ago but any communication with customer service or the Marylebone shop only provided apologies and no information about payment. If anyone managed to get their money back please let me know. I have a claim of more than £3000 and not sure going to court will get me anything and would need to spend extra money. Would speaking to the police help?

I consigned a dress and never heard back. Only when I asked them to return the dress to me, did they mention it had sold. No payment so far though and I have followed up numerous times over the past months - they always use the excuse that “they are chasing the accounting team” but given the time they take and the reviews here I have 0 faith. Sad that I might have to take further action.

From the very beginning this has been a bad experience and three years on communication, or lack thereof, continues to be a major problem. I consigned a few items. One pair of shoes sold ok. But I also consigned a Preen dress. £800 new. Worn once to Royal Ascot. 3 years on despite multiple requests to have it returned I have received no communication other than a standard response saying they’ll ’request an update from the sales team’. Do not consign to them. Stick with Vinted. UPDATE: I am considering suing in Small Claims so checked to see what outstanding judgements there are. 9 unsatisfied judgements totally about £22k. Largest for over £6k which is probably rent. But various around the £1-2k mark. The shop in Notting Hill has been repossessed by the landlord and there is a sign saying that items in the shop are now the property of the landlord. So good luck seeing any of those again. May just chalk this up to experience. But then again, quite fun to accompany the enforcement team and choose something from the Marylebone shop as compensation. Of course that would mean some other unlucky consigner losing out…😞 . Amazingly it’s still trading and they’re still posting on Instagram

I am following up on my reviews dated 30 April and 19 May as still no payment or confirmation date of payment by CSD for my chanel bag sold in February. Emails promising payment and being finalised with accounts but still nothing.
Just to note I have been a long term customer of CSD before this experience. My experience as a customer was the complete opposite. Great customer service when buying which led me to trust CSD for selling. This was a mistake! I hope payment can be made asap and this is resolved.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My mum and I have been chasing these guys for 8MONTHS to be paid for items they have sold. We are repeatedly ignored, they have blocked all phone lines and ignore all Instagram DMs. Judging by the reviews, they owe hundreds of customers thousands of pounds. They simply sell your items and then don’t pay you for them. This company is a complete SCAM.

I urge everyone to submit a claim against them using the small claims court, I have now done this and it seems issuing proceedings against them is the only route, also please report the business to trading standards.

I will not stop until I am paid what I am owed, and I urge you all to do the same.

Edit: the reply to this is ridiculous - I have sent countless emails and had zero response. You have my details. Equally you have not responded to my claim in the small claims court. I will continue with this and am happy to go to court if that’s what it takes to hold this company accountable for its appalling behaviour.

The items were authentic and they had a purse my daughter wanted from Burberry that was no longer being manufactured. Purchased that purse and an Hermes scarf. Both were in very good condition. The purse had a small spot on it and the scarf didn't have the box, but overall I was very pleased.

I sold 3 items nearly a year ago and I haven't received any updates on when I'll be paid for them.

I haven’t received any communication back. I have phoned, whatsapped, emailed and had various excuses.

CSD please take this as your final notice before I lodge a court case. You have acted horrendously to all consigners.

Absolute SCAM. Do not trust this business. I had to submit a Court Claim for stolen goods, as they do not pay out.
I had a very frustrating experience with CSD Consignors that I feel compelled to share. I entrusted them with my coat, which they accepted for sale after quoting a price of £700. A couple of weeks later, I wanted to retrieve my coat when I noticed it wasn't listed on their website and it was missing from their store as well.

When I inquired about getting it back, I was shocked to find out that my coat had already been sold—information I only learned through my own effort to ask. This lack of communication is incredibly concerning; I would have never known it was sold if I hadn’t reached out.

Since that day, which was on May 12, I've been chasing them for updates. I have sent multiple emails and visited the store several times, only to be told that "someone will be in touch with you shortly." Unfortunately, no one ever follows up with me. I've repeatedly asked for details about the sale, but I receive no answers.

As I read more reviews, I see that I'm not alone in this experience — many others have faced similar issues with poor communication and lack of accountability from CSD. I deeply regret not reading these reviews before consignment.

If you're considering consigning with CSD, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Once they have your items, it seems they disappear and leave you in the dark.

Hi, The item was received in excellent condition, very well packaged and arrived promptly.
I have bought 2-3 items recently and the customer service is very efficient and items are reasonably priced.
