I've been a user of Livedrive backup for several years. The service is reliable and good value. The feature set is however limited and encryption of files at rest would be a desirable feature. The frequency of updates to the desktop client is also disappointing with currently over 11 months since its last update. My current plan expires early next year and for the first time I might consider moving away to an alternate service with better features.

Sharp hikes in their subscription charge, with a simultaneous reduction in benefits make Livedrive's offering very poor. Uploads are extremely slow and I have not tested data recovery

Livedrive is supposed to keep your files safe and secure online. Well unfortunately it fails to even do this, as I have lost 100's of files, some of they important tax and accounting files and 18 months plus later they are still not recovered.

Use at your peril.

If I could give less than one star I would, as they simply don't do what they are designed to do.

I’ve used Livedrive for years and I love it! I can save data from more than one computer. It’s so helpful.

My Mac mini M1 has crashed a lot when Livedrive starts

I had a serious problem with my laptop recently with a motherboard meltdown and hard drive corruption.

My understanding was that with my longstanding subscription to LiveDrive all was fine and I just had to restore onto my new computer.

Sure, for standard files such as .docx, .xlsx, etc. but for any shortcuts, exe files, etc. nothing was saved. I lost hundreds of precious files I had in my download folder plus lots of cool utilities that I have no way of relocating easily on the web.

Not happy with you guys. This is NOT a backup service.

No fuzz, just working

I've been a customer of Livedrive for many years now, firstly via a reseller (Monster)then the reseller up'd the price too much and so I dealt direct with Livedrive. The software is very easy to use, I've been saved several times by using the backups. The pricing is very competitive and the service is very good, not that I've had much call to contact them over the years because its always worked just as it should. All in all highly recommend.

Livedrive has been reliable, secure and a reassuring. I prefer to keep my work files updated here than anywhere else.

I have backed up all my precious data, photos especially, to Livedrive for almost a decade. It's easy, automatic and priced nicely. I have never needed the backup, but the security of knowing that everything is not only duplicated for safety's sake but also available to me wherever I am is invaluable.

The 5TB briefcase is really a highlight (ProSuite), I love it.

Uploading to the cloud does not always go well. For example, I have multiple files on my computer I can't open in the cloud.

Product works seamlessly and is so convenient. Livedrive support are also excellent if you have a question or problem.

In times gone by a good service. Now its nearly doubled in price they have lost the edge and priced themselves out of my pocket.

Perfect way to keep info (safety, service)

Used this now for many years. Several versions of a file in the backup. Very good
