It just works! Easy to configure, easy to retrieve and has excellent mobile interface. Best of those I've tried.

After twelve years of use.
We have been using Livedrive since 2010 and are very happy with the service. It gives you a cloud based solution for file access on the go, as well as an easy to use backup service. The initial setup is a bit clunky but once done it´s just set and forget. In those years, we´ve had a hard disk failure and a ransomware attack which would have been a disaster for us but all we had to do was replace the local drive in the first instance and format it in the second and just restore from the Livedrive cloud. In both cases we lost less than a few hours of data.

I think I’ve been with Livedrive for the past 9 or 10 years. They started out as my offsite ‘home backup of last resort’ but as their product offering developed so to did the features.

For me it is truly ‘in the background’ peace of mind.

I have only had cause to raise a support call (my issue) on one occasion in all that time and the support was excellent.

Used to work fine. But the last months it has been stuck at the same percentage with uploading.

I am completely satisfied with the reliability, the clarity of the offer and the prices.

In the Android app the thumnails are to small in the file list.

Efficient, unobtrusive and there when needed.

Happy with the programme where I can locate my information and pictures and so on.

if you need a reliable backup cloud service, don't use livedrive.
occasionally files get lost. you get the message "not completely uploaded".

we love it ;-) - and feel secure

I have been using for a number of years and it is reliable and does the job.

It is deeply concerning that a couple of files that I tried to restore was unavailable
My harddrive was failing making my computer slow and it took me about 48 hours to copy the content to a new harddrive, to make it faster I tried to restore a backup of some of the file (About 10K) and about 10 files could not be restored.
That said it is very easy to make backup, select folders and see that the files are backed up.

This tool is useful in that it does not intrude whilst backing everything up. However, it is not very user-friendly when you need to retrieve something, and this has been quite frustrating. If this matter was to be resolved, then more stars would be appropriate.
