Amazing service, Amazing products and fantastic packaging

Fantastic customer support.

Got a new turbo last week – the Land Rover runs like a dream now 😄 Huge thanks to Lukas for all the help!

Opening confession - I didn't deal with London Turbos directly, it was through a garage in Enfield that did my engine work.

The Enfield garage rebuilt the top end of my engine following a failed head gasket. They told me I needed a refurbished turbo, which the garage supplied and fitted from London Turbos. All was good until I got 1.5 hours into the drive home when the EML came on and the car went into limp mode. Got the car home and into my local garage. Error code was related to under boost from the turbo. Local garage removed turbo and London Turbos provided a replacement refurbished turbo. 8 hours labour to do the job (remove and replace); old turbo was filthy and covered in silicone. New turbo was bright and shiny.

Local garage refitted turbo, but a new error code came up, still related to boost pressure. Local garage replaced MAF sensor, boost pressure sensor and a couple of intercooler pipes, all new gaskets and checked for leaks of which there were none. All good sensible stuff. Error code still there, so car has been taken to a turbo specialist.

Conclusion - London Turbos had not properly calibrated the turbo which needs stripping down and sorting properly. Will cost me more than the original refurbished turbo.

False economy by Enfield garage has cost me well over £2k to sort and still going. London Turbos have offered to replace turbo (for the third time) but I have little confidence they can accurately calibrate the turbo and they won't pay for the 8 hours labour to replace the turbo even though the turbo is under warranty.

I was very suspicious at first, never really came across a company that charged a surcharge for a part before, that and the fact I was given a time limit of 14 days to get the old part returned to them or else lose my £90. However, I have to say I am very pleased with London turbos, they were very understanding when it came to my issue with returning my old unit, I kept them informed of the situation and they helped me with time scales. Thanks a bunch London turbos, and I can recommend them

My BMW X5 M50D needed turbo repairs, and London Turbos offered a much more affordable refurbishment compared to buying new from BMW. The team was friendly, the turnaround was quick, and they recommended an excellent mechanic (Nik from Car MD in Kent) who did a great job with the fitting. Highly recommend London Turbos for fair prices and reliable service.

amazing turbochargers cannot fault them, have been using london turbos for over 4 years for my garage based in Essex and have not had single problem once. Very wide range of turbochargers in stock and they are the cheapest around. Thank you to Nedas for his amazing customer service and always looking after us.

Used these guys before. Can't recommend them enough. Arrived this morning Saturday 19/7/25 with a VW crafter turbo. Tbh I was expecting to buy a reconditioned turbo and exchange mine. They looked at the condition took it out the back and cleaned viens adjusted and re calibrated the actuator. Can't believe how helpful they we're. Not one for reviews but these guys have helped me get van back on road ready for work.

Extremely Disappointed – DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I’ve never had such a terrible experience with a company in my life. I purchased a reconditioned turbo from them, returned my old one, and paid £340. After installation, the turbo failed just two days later.

I contacted them immediately, but instead of taking responsibility, they blamed my car – specifically a "blocked DPF." I am absolutely sure this was not the case! Even though they gave me a warranty, they asked for another £150 to replace the turbo with another so-called "reconditioned" unit.

After having the turbo changed again and the DPF professionally cleaned, the replacement turbo is now leaking oil into the intercooler pipes and causing the car to smoke. I’ve had to pay a mechanic each time for fitting, and the quality of the parts they've provided is shocking.

I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I feel completely scammed. From personal experience, I strongly recommend you stay away from this company. Their parts are very poor quality, and their warranty is completely useless.

Picked up the turbo from the shop, everything went great, no issues at all, big thanks to Lukas for all the help!
