A great tool for Hospitality

Our hospitality business has had a long-standing relationship with LRS and over the years we have benefited from the use of multiple versions of their products. We have always been happy with the tech, the support and overall service provided by the people at the organisation.

Great product, great service

We required a system to inform customers when their orders were ready for our busy cafe. A quick google search brought me to LRS UK. I was worried whether the system would work here in Ireland but from my initial inquiry, Phil has been a pleasure to deal with and I really appreciate the follow up calls from him to make sure we were happy with the product. We ordered the pager system with the coasters, and they have been the perfect solution to our busy cafe. I would have no problem in using this company again should our needs require us to do so.

Still using LRS over ten years later!

We have used LRS now for over ten years, there is no other pager that we have found to be as good as this company, we have to admit we have purchased cheaper alternatives from other companies in the past (during covid when we needed more pagers) and it is a false economy they only lasted one year. So if you are looking for a paging system we could not praise LRS anymore, a good value product with good customer service to match.

Poor pager systems

Poor pager systems. Seem to stop working after six months. You have to unclip them from the holders to charge. So the holders end up breaking too. The buzzer system hasn’t got a page all setting which would be ideal at times.

In summary, there are a lot better pager systems out there at will last a lot longer and will withstand constant use.

Thank you 'Mr Walker'... but you are NOT an LRS UK customer from what I see? I'm not sure where you bought your equipment but it seems it was not from our company. Our systems in the UK come with a 3 year warranty. Our systems have been supplied throughout the UK since 2001 and we don't see opinions like yours really, maybe there are issues with your system or some other problem. My advice is to go back to where you bought your products for help. On the point of the pager holders you do have to unclip the holder to charge the pager that is true, but I guess that's better than competitive products charging you up to £50 to change a clip (they really do). Pager holders are very low cost and they rarely break unless undue force was applied. The systems BTW DO have a page all setting. Please ask your supplier for the necessary information as they should be able to help. Lastly, I have to say that from our company I can show you customers with LRS pagers with over ten years of use and still in service today. I'm sorry I can't help more but we only service clients in the UK, Ireland and Iceland so a call to your supplier might help. Hopefully you bought these new and from an LRS authorised supplier?

Logistics Drivers Pagers from LRS UK

We purchased the Logistics Paging system.
Great customer service from initial enquiry to receiving the product and follow up after installation of the system.
Increased productivity of staff and organisation.
Has improved driver/office communication.
Eliminate staff needing to deliver messages to waiting drivers in person.
We can notify drivers immediately of delays.
All in all a great investment.

Great for any size business

Although my business is small, because of the configuration of my till area customers move out of view of the till person or mill of elsewhere thinking their food will be brought over. I struggled on my opening night, before "remembering" that I had the pagers. I was a little unsure as to their implementation initially with my epos tills, but a quick call to LRS soon pointed me in the right direction!

Outstanding customer service

After having contacted a number of two way radio suppliers throughout the country LRS originally stood out due to their interest in working with us to find the best product at the best price. This has definitely been proven over the past 6 months when we have worked with LRS. Their customer service is great and they are always on hand to answer questions, provide advice and give support with their products. Have and will continue to recommend LRS to other companies within the event sector.

Hello Mr Jackson, it's interesting that you use SP4 pagers for a logistics environment use. The SP4 was developed for waiters originally some while ago and as such is a very robust unit and I can surmise that's the main reason for choosing the SP4. For logistics use we often supply our CS series of 'coaster' pagers and those are of course a larger device which may or may not suit particular clients. In any case, thank you for your quick review as customer feedback is important to us.
