They are completly ignoring my emails as reguards issue with product rubbish customer service

Tellement décevant. Cette société était tellement bien avant. Nous avons quasi acheter tous nos meubles chez eux ces dernières années, mais il semblerait qu'ils aient changés de sous-traitant pour leur livraison et c'est devenu un enfer. Notre dernière commande pour des lits superposés a été géré de manière catastrophique par leur sous-traitant (panther). Finalement, deux semaines après la date à laquelle nous aurions dû être livré le sous-traitant n'a tenu aucun de ses engagements et le meuble a même été renvoyé à maison du monde. Maintenant, il faudrait le recommandé, ce qui prendrait entre 8 et 14 jours ouvrés et toujours via cette société de livraison complètement non professionnel. Je ne sais pas encore si nous allons allé au bout de cette commande mais je sais que se sera la dernière avec maison du monde. Dommage on aimait bien leurs designs.

It was my first order with Maisons du Monde and the purchase experience was the least pleasant I have ever experienced!
I have chosen to return some items of my order as the quality did not match with my expectations. Return can happen but Maisons du Monde return process is very painful.
The collecting company did not come twice the agreed days. The third time they came to collect the items. It was on the 19th October. We are the 8th of November: I have still not received my refund for the 2 items returned or even confirmation that the refund will be processed. I have tried to contact the customer service twice by emails and still do not have any answers. Then, I definitely do not recommend Maisons du Monde!

I was so pleased with my purchase . I was looking for something different (canisters)and found it on this site .I was very impressed with the design and quality. They came carefully wrapped couldn’t fault them .

Ordered a headboard which arrived with paint peeling from it and the panels were misaligned. We received an exchange and the faulty headboard was meant to be collected at the same time. The delivery company were not told they had a collection and the replacement headboard was worse than the first. The paint was actually missing in several places so we refused delivery. We then asked for a refund which we did receive and had to then arrange for another collection date. For a headboard we never kept we had to wait in on 3 occasions. The company would not accept our review on verified reviews as it talked about the quality of a product?? Surely this is what customers want to hear?? It was overpriced and looked amateurish and cheaply made. Would not buy from them again.

I have ordered several times from Maisons du Monde and have never had anything but positive experiences. The items look as pictured and described, arrive very well packaged and delivery is communicated well in advance. I appreciate not everyone had had such a positive experience but I take as I find.

Great looking furniture, good communication throughout order process, packaged really well, and arrived on time.

Doesn't deserve even 1 star. Dreadful customer service. No way of contacting them to complain. My daughter's bedside table was faulty on unboxing. The paint had chipped around the star on the drawer and 2 fixings broke whilst putting the product making it unusable. Online form does not work. When I phoned up and explained the situation I was told it would be passed on to management but nothing happened. Phoned again, exactly the same thing happened. Sent email and got a response telling me to phone... Not sure why this company is allowed to trade like this. Avoid at all costs and save yourself some stress!

I ordered two months ago a mirror and 2 bedside that supposed to arrive two weeks after the order , clearly didn’t arrive and so I start to call the customer service every week and every time they told me that in 24/48h I would received a shipment confirmation, I’ve been calling every week the customer service for a month and half to have an update , then my case has been escalate so they offer me another order for the same item.Today without any email confirmation the 2 bedside have been delivered to my neighbors , when I opened the package they were completely damaged and in very poor quality.I’m extremely disappointed with this company and the customer service , they made me waste time and money . I will never buy again from them.

Do not recommend as I am now £200 out of pocket.

Trying to get a hold of customer services is awful. Phone doesn’t ring, nobody picks up emails. Second bit of furniture delivered now damaged too. Haven’t even got through to someone about the damage on the first one. They items are lovely shame they look like they have been thrown around the back of a lorry

NOT DELIVERED even though it shows as delivered on my account page. Tired of calling customer service who promise to help but nothing ever happens !!!!!

Delivery took slightly longer than we'd hoped, but worth the wait and it was duly hung in our cloakroom within hours of arriving 😁

The mirror I ordered arrived badly damaged. I cannot get through to customer services by phone. I have filled in the form on the website and have only had an automated response. How do I get it collected and a refund?

As so many people have said, the customer service is appalling/non-existent. I ordered a table at the end of July. It was delayed and arrived 3 weeks later, incredibly badly damaged - so bent out of shape that it was of absolutely no use whatsoever. To be fair to them, they arranged for a replacement to be sent out quite quickly, however, it took me nearly 3 months of almost constant hounding on my part for them to collect the damaged table. The table was large and I had no way of getting rid of it myself, and they constantly fobbed me off, telling me it was being sorted, when it wasn't - I have never had a customer service experience that has made me so angry - I will never order from them again!
