Mantic sent out a generous variety of replacement items. While it was not what I had asked for originally, it was a very generous proxy. This is why it's hard to stay annoyed with mantic.
While I'd say that using the webstore is not something I'd recommend, I'd still support the company and buy their products, so I'll bump my review up a star for making things right.
09/01/26 update:
Back in December I got an email saying it would be remedied.
However nothing since. No communication, no replacement items,.. nothing.
This was a simple online store order made over 2 months ago. This is nuts long this has gone on for, it's just a web store order, not a Kickstarter or pre-order or 3rd party product. I could cut them some slack because last month was Christmas and they were also launching the new kings of war. To say I'm disappointed would be a big understatement.
I made an order at 7th November 2025. There was no warning or other advise that there would be shipping delays, so after waiting to the 12th November, I sent an email asking why it had not shipped.
I got a reply on 26 November and was told there were delays of 2-3 weeks.
I waited until 2nd December and asked again if there was a problem as my order still had not shipped.
They replied the same day and told me it had just shipped.
It was delivered 4th December - but with the exception of one item- it was not what I ordered (they sent me something completely different that I had no interest in).
I replied 4th December telling them what happened, no reply.
I emailed again on 5th (sent them photos of box contents).
I emailed again on 8th December and on 9th and 10th.
On 10th I got an automated email back saying there was a 10 day backlog of tickets.
So basically it looks like it might not be before Christmas before this is even looked at, let alone resolved.
That's not even a guarantee it will be resolved.
It's just so disappointing how bad this customer service is, because I have loads of mantic products - I have always tried to support them because they are a company that has heart and great potential (that's why I'm not going for a 1* review- I still enjoy many of the products I have from mantic)
However I could never ever recommend anyone to order from their website, just stick to 3rd party retailers.
Mantic make fun games and miniatures, but they really have no idea how to operate the "retail" part of their operation.
I have not had any issues with any mantic games they are fun, only reason of 4 instead of 5 stars is because they ended the walking dead game, which just seemed slightly rushed at the end & felt a bit unfinished, I didn't even get chance to complete the final wave of characters, I have grown out of the Warhammer style themes personally, but definitely work a look if your looking for a new game, the prices are more reasonable than games workshop & the models have been easier to put together, or already a full model & look as good

I've ordered from this company twice now, both times I've waited two weeks in vain for a dispatch notification before contacting them and that seems to bump them enough to send it.
I don't know how long it'd be without contacting, indefinite perhaps, or maybe it's just a conincidence that I have more or less the exact same amount of patience as they have a dispatch window.
Both times they've apologised for being very busy, and again maybe I caught them off guard, but I feel if you're going to have an annual warehouse clearance (which according to them they box up ahead of time) perhaps it shouldn't keep being a shock every year when you... sell it? Maybe?
Eh. The stuff's good. Not like it's lifesaving medicine or anything, it doesn't have to be fast, just know that it probably will be slow and don't like plan a birthday around it or anything.

I ordered a Christmas advent calander beginning of November. It stated would recieve by December first. Guess it didn't say what year. Got it in January. Waste of 85 dollars. My mistake for trusting them.

DO NOT order from this company! buy from anywhere else, resellers etc because 1. you will get service, possibly even next day: 2. pay less: 3. they might even answer your questions.
Waited 2 weeks for an order for a message to say out of stock... I can track my pizza order start to finish but this will get lost in a black hole of terrible customer service... the games are good but this level of service insult to the player base is criminal, genuinely do NOT order from them direct!.. lets see how long my refund takes.....

12th May 2023 - Order raised but account not created as requested so loyalty points on my first order not credited.
14th May 2023 - I emailed asking to have points allocated to my account.
17th May 2023 - they emailed me to say they have refused to allocate points.
19th May 2023 - Order delivered incomplete, I requested missing parts, photos and contents list provided.
23rd May 2023 - Sent more photos of delivery box showing it was absolutely full to the brim and nothing extra could be fitted into it. (my guess is that's why I didn't get everything)
I emailed saying I had planned to raise a new order for over £100 based on the quality of the items received but have now decided not to owing to their post-sales service.
24th May 2023 - They replied promising items will be dispatched urgently but Customer Care had experienced a lot of customer complaints that they were working through - I wasn't surprised given the mistake in my order.
I was sarcastic and cynical in my reply pointing out that until I mentioned a large order I had been wholly ignored, items hadn't been sent and they patently didn't care.
The reply received stated that they had never refused to award the loyalty points.
I've sent them their email refusing to allocate the points from my order to my account - no reply.
Not holding my breath for my missing parts that I've paid for. Shame because I really liked the five terrain crates I bought and was going to order another five.
What I'll do is wait for a tradeshow, convention or see the items in a shop and buy them. I can open the boxes and check the contents as it appears they don't always have everything inside them.
Some people may have an excellent experience of online purchases from Mantic Games - mine has not been.
18/7/2024 - As an update - many weeks after all of this the missing items have turned up in a box. No apology, not even a compliments slip. At least I received my items eventually but I doubt I would have if I hadn't posted this on here.

Thought I'd try a new company/product but upon putting some of their figures together was hugely disappointed. Terrible moulds with ill fitting parts that are a nightmare to glue. To be honest these are the worst figures I've ever had and it's put me off the whole Kings of War platform. I'll take the loss and consign all to eBay. Never again.

I am getting 50€ of extra costs with no advance notification nor agreement from Mantic nor the currier, and all i get from Mantic is a copy/paste answer of some information i should have readed in their web. Zero help, empathy nor assistance. Pity, the product is good. But their customer care is horrible. Never doing business with them ever.

I just wanted to give a semi-public shoutout to Mantic Games. I've been completing the Hellboy Board game over the last year, and when I ordered my Holiday Hellboy from a seller on Amazon, it was missing a piece. Specifically the Hand of Doom. Kind of important.
I contacted Mantic, and they pulled out the old mold (HH is out of production) and cast me a new part sprue. They sent it over from the UK, free of charge. It took a while (About 2 months) but they got it done.
This is while they had a kickstarter going on AND during COVID, mind you. I've heard some horror stories in the past about their customer service, but I can honestly say I am VERY impressed!

I placed an order that cost £75 and paid for it. They waited 4 days to inform me that the item I wanted wasn't in stock.
How did they do this? By sending me an email saying they've refunded my order. I had to go to the website and check to see that the item I wanted was now listed as out of stock.
This is not ok. I should be told why my order is cancelled, I should not be allowed to purchase an item that is out of stock and their website should be kept up to date at all times.
