Bought a monogramed front door mat
Bought a monogramed front door mat. Came in with the wrong house number "3" instead of "34". I reviewed the invoice and I entered the correct number when I made the online purchase. The error is M&G. I called (you have to call) and they said they'd get back to me. Several tries and no response on how to return mat and get a correct on. I eventually challenged the charge with my credit card. After several weeks, Visa told me the claim was denied because M&G says I never returned the mat. How can I return the mat if I call and call and they never tell me how to do it?
Good luck if you buy from Mark and Graham,. you're going to need it.
DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE
DO NOT BUY, ZERO STARS - don't make the same mistake as I did. I read the terrible reviews, and thought it could be okay if I triple checked that I understood the return policy, research the products, and NOT monogram anything so I could return it. I did all of this and finally decided to give it a chance because their parent company is William Sonoma. But I was very wrong. I created a Trustpilot account to share this review because I should have listened to the reviewers here.
Mark and Graham is a terrible company with predatory practices such as a deceptive return policy, dishonest product pages, and fine print in the shopping cart that tricks the customer.
First, they lie saying that you can use the website for returns. While the items are listed and there is a return button, it didn't allow me to select any of the items to return. No email or chat function so I had to call.
When I called, the service rep claimed that many of my items were final sale. Unlike every other company, final sale is not listed on the website product page nor on the order receipt, instead it is listed in fine print when you add it to the cart. I had to go through the test of adding things into the cart to even see what the service rep was talking about.
For items that were not final sale, $12 would be deducted from every single item to return it. This was not listed in the return policy.
When I tried to work through the issue, they kept trying to negotiate with me by violating different rules on their return policy, such as trying to give me merchandise credit instead of refund to original payment even though that is the policy.
The service rep eventually resolved my issue after 50 minutes but I still do not trust that I will get my refund. In total I will have spent many extra hours on this order to ensure that I am treated fairly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
I would have kept many of the products if the return policy was honest and process was easy, but because I had to deal with misinformation and dishonesty, I decided to return nearly everything I ordered and will never purchase from Mark and Graham nor any other William Sonoma brand.
Horrible company
Horrible company. I ordered a personalized jewelry box for a Xmas present and a week later the order was abruptly cancelled. The refund is a week or more out to receive.DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.!

What a horrible expierence with this company! I bought and paid for an order as I was purchasing a gift for my best clients 20th anniversary party. Apparently, Mark & Graham cancelled my order 4 hours after i recieved an order confirmtation. No phone call or email to notify me they cancelled my order. My payment went through at the time I placed the order and there was nothing wrong on my end but they cancelled my order 4 hours later and did not notify me by phone or email. Thank goodness I asked my client/friend how she liked the present becasue that is how I found out she never recieved anything from me. I've been on hold for 45 mins and they are telling me they have no managers available to speak to me. Do not order from this company if the gift is important! This company is very unreliable!!

I REALLY WISH I had read the reviews on Trust Pilot for this company prior to ordering 10 client gifts! One day after ordering I started getting order cancellations due to not having the product in stock. Their software should have known the item not in inventory and not allowed me to order. When I called, they said they couldn't substitute, and could not honor the free shipping I had on the original order. When I asked to speak to someone in management, they said they are not able to escalate to management. Their policies and customer care are Horrible! Do not order from them and note they are part of William Somoma.

Awful awful awful!! Don’t order from them at all. Save your money. If you receive a damaged item or even just want a return don’t plan on getting your money back. Mark and Graham should be ashamed of themselves!
Zero stars for Mark and Graham
Zero stars for Mark and Graham. Horrible customer service from this company. I ordered an engraved marble serving platter. It was supposed to be a wedding gift but the engraving looked so bad. I asked if I could get a replacement without any engraving and was told no, no refunds, no discount towards a replacement, and that there was nothing they could do for me. Sadly I’d be embarrassed to give this as a gift. I would not recommend a company that doesn’t care if their customers are satisfied with their products.

After reaching out to the company, I find out my order is delayed another 2 weeks. They refused to give a refund or cancel my order. Highly unprofessional and will never be a returning customer
Mark and Graham Terminal Luggage FAIL
I was gifted a set of Mark and Graham's Terminal luggage. I am a frequent traveler and loved the look of the pieces. How disappointing the wheels turned out to be and after many calls and countless hours with the customer support line there are no options for replacement wheels for their luggage. How can you not offer replacement wheels to be purchased?

I ordered a gift for someone who is speaking at a conference I am hosting. I used my company card and my own shipping address (so the shipping and billing addresses were different) and the order got canceled TWICE. I never received a notification on either occasion saying the order was canceled. After being on the phone with useless customer service representatives for an hour and a half, they transferred me to the editing office where I replaced the order, and notes were made saying that the order wasn't fraudulent. After my reorder, it was canceled for a second time... again with no warning. I am now a week out from the conference and do not have time to order from anywhere except Amazon. I will never shop from this company again. Ridiculous.
A Horrible Company
An absolutely horrible company. This was my very first experience with them. I ordered a bag, they sent a different patterned bag, it was obviously replaced because the other one was sold out, and they said that is what I ordered and it cannot be exchanged or returned. I NEVER would have ordered that pattern! I think they are a terrible company and I will NEVER do business with them again!!

Cannot return items, beware
Not a nice looking item, leather looks cheap and buyer beware, anything on sale will most likely be non-returnable as “final sale”. This is not flagged like most companies do in red, rather in fine print about specific pricing ending in certain numbers after you add to cart. Bad business practice and obviously set up that way knowing people won’t notice. I can understand a final clearance on discontinued items, but what is aggravating is these items are still for sale at a “regular” price.

I purchased a beautiful handbag on sale 9/21/23. Within minutes I tried to cancel the order as I found another bag I really wanted on another shopping website. I was told by a customer service rep that my purchase was in the midst of a temporary authorization deeming the order incomplete. However she did provide my order no. and suggested I call back in an hour. I called 15 minutes later only to find out that the item was already being shipped. Helluva stall tactic... y'all have lost a return customer.

What a bad experience I have had with this company. Shame on me I purchased terminal 1 luggage twice. Thought it was a fluke that the larger piece got torn apart on the belt at the airport. Mark and graham did not help at the time. Purchased a second larger piece to match the other 2 pieces I still had. I only used the large piece once this year and here we go again. The monogram fell off the top of it crimped and the “leather” tore!!! Again nothing M and G can do for me. Needless to say no Christmas shopping here even if things look cute. They sell good looking junk. After spending $800 for two of the same pieces of inadequate luggage plus the other two pieces (one of which has visible screws popped through) I will try Tumi and a professional company.
So disappointed
So disappointed! The cases are ok but the monogramming is so cheesy and cheap. The letters aren't even uniform from case to case and they are PEELING OFF, right out of the box. What garbage.
Used bag five times and it broke twice!
Received a work tote as a birthday gift from my husband in 2022 and it broke within a few weeks. I only used it once when it broke. I had my laptop, a small notebook, and a small wallet inside. They fixed it and sent it back. I work from home and only go into our HQ office 2-3 times per year. I used the bag a total of 5 times and the long strap handle broke. They don't honor their faulty products and was told there was nothing they could do a year later, as it broke again. It was the only time this year I used the bag and the part on the bag that holds the strap broke!
The bag has a faulty design as it is so heavy without anything in it! Who makes a $300 bag that can't hold anything!
Horrible! I will never by anything from this company again and will urge others not to as well!

Frustrated Shocked…
I am so frustrated and honestly shocked with what has occurred with my Mark and Graham order #331853517034. I have made numerous phone calls related to this order after I received a faulty order [ice bucket was personalized but wine glasses were not]. In the phone call dated 8/30 which this email refers to, I was told that the recommended solution by Mark and Graham, following previous “attempts” to correct the issue by requesting that personalized wine glasses be prepared and sent, was that I should receive a full refund for this order and then re-order again. I was told I should see a credit on my credit card account within 5-7 days. I purposefully waited two weeks and called back to today to check because I have not received the credit. The representative I spoke with said that (1) this was incorrect according to the supervisor notes from my phone call, (2) that I was offered solutions to the issue which I rejected, and (3) that no refund should be issued. This is completely NOT what I was told by Imelda, the representative that I spoke with on 8/30.
I am a respectful and patient person. I have done everything possible to work with Mark and Graham to correct THEIR ERROR. I paid $111 total for the Outdoor Wine Bar Set which includes a personalized ice bucket and four wine glasses. I received a personalized ice bucket and four wine glasses with no personalization. I called M&G on July 15th to report the error. In that conversation, I stated that the item was a gift that needed to be taken to an event the next day. I was told I could keep the ice bucket and send the glasses back and that replacement glasses would be sent. Two weeks later I received the replacement glasses. They also contained NO PERSONALIZATION. I sent all 8 glasses back and made additional phone calls. During these calls I was told that the representative was making another request for personalized glasses to be sent to me. I was told at this point that an additional inspection step would be needed since their were two errors made to the order. I have never received any more glasses. I have continued to follow up and was finally told in the 8/30 call that there were issues with M&G being able to personalize the glasses and that I would be issued a full refund within 5-7 business days. Fine. I waited two weeks from this call to follow up on the refund and was rudely told that the supervisor notes stated that NO refund would be issued. The representative told me that she added a note for the supervisor to give me a call within 72 hours, or 3 business days. Ine the meantime, I paid full price for the Outdoor Wine Bar SET on JULY 3rd and have nothing but an ice bucket and no additional plans for remedy from M&G. Keeping my money in this manner is in violation of the Consumer Protection Act and constitutes an unfair trade practice. I will be posting this review in every public forum available. If anyone from M&G wants to reach out to me, feel free to use the email address associated with the referenced order number.
MELTING HANDLES
I got a tote bag from Mark and Graham as a gift. After about a year of use, the handles are MELTING. Yes, melting. Both handles are extremely sticky, the stain is coming off in clumps and get on everything. A shirt and a jean jacket have been completely ruined. I reached out to customer service and because my Aunt no longer has the order number, there is nothing they can do. I asked for them to just fix the bag and they are unable to. The customer service team was absolutely useless. I asked to speak with someone else and they would not even provide me with any information.

My family wanted to buy me a black leather tote for my birthday. 300$ and lots of excitement later, we open the box to find the cheapest material to ever exist. The smell of plastic reeked. I’ve bought better quality bags from street cart sellers in lebanon for 5 dollars. DO NOT BUY.
