Great service, Mark is super professional.
Im really happy with his honesty and his professional approach.

I was asked to agree a set time to bring in my laptop and Mark was immediately available to advise.
Within a very few minutes he had identified and fixed an unusual but critical issue. The laptop was immediately functional again. I’m very grateful as the laptop is something of an essential piece of kit for me.

Mark is a fantastically knowledgeable
person about all Apple
computers. I appreciate his honesty and skill in repairs- 1000% trustworthy and highly recommended.

Mark is fantastic. I knocked water onto my laptop and got quoted a ridiclous price to fix from Apple. I took it to Mark and he was very frank about my options. Mark honestly spoke about what was best for me, and not necessarily what was best for him. It turned out it was worth fixing my laptop and Mark did a fantastic job, quickly and at a reasonable price. I would definitely reccomend Mark, and I hope to never require his services again for myself, but if I do, I will go to him!

Apple wouldn't repair it - considered vintage. So when there is no way to get an official repair, you're looking for a service based on personal trust instead, to find someone who will repair to the same (or better) standard. That's Mark. Apple have de-skilled and centralized a lot of their work now. Mark may be the last option for a skilled and experienced human around Cambridge to talk you through options and issues. (And.... psst, he was basically recommended indirectly by the guy in the Apple store if that help!!)

The issue with my MacBook and external hard drives was quickly resolved plus I got some useful advice.

I’m delighted to have found The Apple Guy. Mark clearly knows his Apple stuff and he gave me an honest assessment of the condition of my MacBook as a result of which i decided that it was counterproductive to have it repaired. I took my MacBook to Mark after a water spill and although I didn't go ahead with the repair as the cost of a new screen was more than I wanted to pay,Mark diagnosed the problem keeps me informed and was very reasonable with what he charged me,I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Mark replaced the battery in my MacBook and was super helpful throughout the whole process. He explained everything he was doing and made sure I was happy with the plan before starting any work. The iMac had been getting slower for a year or so, but gradually got to the stage where it was unusable. We looked for a local engineer and read the very supportive reviews from The Apple Guy. I found the business extremely well organised with a straight forward 'booking in' arrangement and an almost immediate email response! Mark within a minute or two had identified the problem, a day or so later my iMac was ready for collection with a new hard drive and is now working with a significantly higher speed than it did when new! The price was incredibly reasonable and the service......Stirling!......Total delight to deal with!
