Iâve been waiting months for my year-end accounts, with little to no progress or updates. Communication is extremely frustrating; Iâm regularly promised call-backs that never happen, and I often have to chase repeatedly just to get a response.
Overall, the service has been disappointing and stressful. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Repeated errors (month on month) when producing monthly management figures. Natalie is great at resolving issues but she shouldn't have to. Pod 3 are a complete waste of time. High turnover of staff perhaps?? Never deal with same person twice. Payroll have their house in order shame about the rest.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Mazuma has been extremely poor and is consistent with many other 1-star reviews I have since read.
Over a period of approximately 6 months, I had to repeatedly chase for basic information and corrections. My accounts and tax returns were submitted around 9 months late and initially contained incorrect figures. As a result, I received penalties including a Self Assessment fine (approx. £1,300) and a Companies House fine. Mazuma declined to assist with appeals, which I had to resolve myself.
After prolonged back-and-forth, Mazuma eventually acknowledged issues, corrected the returns, and refunded approximately £1,200.
Communication was a major concern throughout. Emails were often unanswered, calls were not returned, and I had to provide the same information multiple times. Notably, when I began formally challenging the situation, communication shifted from email to phone calls from different numbers, which I chose not to engage with in order to maintain a written record.
Despite paying for bookkeeping services, I was later advised (29/01/2026) that the bookkeeping for the 2024â2025 period had not been completed and was asked to provide this myself.
Following my departure, I am still attempting to obtain a clear breakdown of payments and confirmation of what services have been applied to the 2025â2026 period.
In my case, issues were only resolved after persistent escalation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service.
All of the above is supported by extensive email correspondence.
edit - the response below is contrary to my last review during the incident, when they denied all knowledge until i wore them down with 6 months of daily emails, furthermore, they have charged me for an additional year they didn't provide a service for, and they are pulling the same tricks as before.
