Well packed and delivered fragile item safely
MBE Birmingham 022 was recommended by the auction house to ship internationally. Package was very well packed and delivered safely. An area for improvement would be to be more communicative via email about the collection status of the item from the auction house.

AVOID
AVOID - Terrible experience - no communication, did not collect my items when they said they would and then refused to answer my emails and never called me back when they said they would. Gave them a chance to respond to my complaints and they still never got back to me. Went with another company - Pack & Send Hall Green and the difference was night and day - amazing service.

Well were do I start,I asked them to pick up two clocks bought at auction I took out coverage for damage loss,the parcel arrived and one of the clocks was damaged,sent photogaphs of the damage, and then I got an email saying that the clocks had loose parts,and was difficult to pack, contacted the auction to see if the clocks were damage before the sale, the clocks arrived with broken parts, they were intact, when I bought the clocks and indeed the auction photograph showed also it was not damaged,so it was damaged in transit,then I was told he had a video, and said he was sending I still await the said video,he sent a photograph only of the clock with the loose parts it arrived intact, it was the other that was damaged, I have sent email after email to open a claim for the damage and all.......... ignored totally, So hence the feedback,I will most defiately not be using them ever again , do beware of Mailbox etc Birmingham not good at all BEWARE

I am truly sorry to read about your extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with MBE Birmingham. It is disheartening and frankly unacceptable that you paid for damage coverage, yet received a damaged clock, and have since been completely ignored in your attempts to open a claim. I understand your deep frustration regarding the failure of communication, the contradictory information you received, and the lack of a resolution for the damage caused during transit.
Mail Boxes Etc. centres are independently owned and operated franchises, and while they strive to provide consistent service, individual operational decisions, communication, and claim handling standards are managed at the local level. However, the complete lack of response regarding your claim is a serious matter that needs immediate attention.
We want to ensure that your specific complaint, detailing the damage, the auction house's evidence, and the failure of the Birmingham centre to provide the promised video or process your claim, is thoroughly addressed.
I strongly urge you to email our Head Office at nso@mbe.uk immediately. Please resend all the specifics of your complaint, including:
Your account and shipment information.
The specific dates of the shipment and when you sent the damage photographs.
Copies of the auction house photograph and any correspondence you possess (especially your emails requesting the claim).
A clear timeline of the centre's failure to respond.
Our Head Office will investigate this matter with the utmost urgency to rectify the situation and ensure the appropriate claim procedure is finally actioned.

Have dealt with many MBE which have…
Have dealt with many MBE which have been fine apart from Birmingham who are dreadful , Requested a VAT receive 4 times all my mails were ignored
MBE seem to have a problem issuing proper invoices and most of the time there is not receipts attached to the parcel
Will have to look at alternative shippers perhaps

Very impressive packing
Like the previous reviewer I was hugely impressed with the way in which my oil painting was packaged. In thanking Aliyaah I said that I don't recall ever seeing an article so well packaged. There was a little damage to the outer casing in transit but there was so much padding inside the outer casing that it was very well protected. Very impressed.
