I’ve bought the flame grilled steak all year what a joke now 6 pack the bags are not even quarter full won’t be buying again

The Mccoys Flame Grilled Steak flavour crisps used to be my 'favourite of all time' crisps to the point where I was regularly eating what was probably more than the recommended 'healthy' quantity but I just couldn't help myself!
I used to buy them by the box-load, as opposed to singularly or as multipacks but now all that has changed.
The packs have gotten smaller & smaller & the price has gone up & up but while this caused me to cut down on purchasing them quite so often, I still bought them more than any other crisps on the market.
I'm now, unfortunately, sick & tired of wasting my money on these once great crisps though because, shrinkflation aside, the quality has been more & more neglected, especially over the past couple of years or so and 90% of the packs I've recently bought have had barely any flavouring, often to the point of them tasting like nothing more than ready salted.
I stopped buying them by the box-load around 2 years ago because of this main factor because at least by buying them in multipacks, you stood a chance of falling upon a slightly better flavoured batch from time to time but now it's so common for them to be bland that I'm going to stop buying them altogether due to the constant disappointment of opening a pack only to be greeted by a small handful of pale, unseasoned slices of crunchy potato.
Just for the sake of it I've worked out that when I used to buy them by the box I was spending, on average, £150 minimum per year on them.
Surely they could afford to better monitor the quality and add a consistent amount of seasoning to their product instead of ruining their reputation by overcharging, downsizing and skimping on a few extra pence worth of seasoning?
I miss the days where companies like this genuinely took pride in their products first & foremost instead of only caring about making money & ripping people off by slowly making subtle but eventually noticeable changes over time, to the point where the original product is a thing of the past.

Just bought a multi pack of flame grilled steak. The bags are noticeably smaller, but even worse than that they have reduced the seasoning to a level akin to ready salted. Very disappointed

I purchased McCoy's Cheddar & Onion crisps at Waitrose, and I must say it was a rather disappointing experience. The quantity of crisps was minimal, akin to that of feathers, and the overall eating experience was comparable to consuming concrete. I will not be purchasing them again, as they represent a waste of money

Just had a “bag” of Mccoys salt and vinegar crisps . I don’t think it should be advertised as a “ bag” of crisps , as it’s more like a 1/4 bag . About 6 crisps in total .
Disgraceful .
How are all these companies getting away with it ? Everything now is half the size of what it used to be and cost double the money it used to cost . Disgraceful .

I had 6 crisps in my bag!!! I thought it was empty when I opened it….they only fool you once!!

Sizzling prawn awful..... completely plain....this is the second pack I purchased to try thinking the first time was just a one-off mistake. Never again!!!!!

You’re a scam fair play to yous for managing to get away with selling 80 percent air and the rest half broken crisps it’s almost laughable but then it’s not. 1.25 for a share pack and it has less than a normal bag of crisps should have

About a quarter bag of crisps at the most and they weren't even fresh, iv noticed there is less and less crisps in these multipack bags shame as they used to be a good crisp

Your multipacks are a complete rip off. You used to make great crisps and fairly priced. Now there are about 10 crisps per pack, you could fit all 6 bags in a single bag. Won’t be buying ever again.

I’ve bought McCoys crisps from various supermarkets but this is the last time now. From expired packets to stale tasting crisps. I recently bought a multipack from Tesco’s and the individual bags have been superglued at the back. When you open the pack, there are hardly any crisps inside.

Something that has been bugging me for a while. The portion sizes on your 6 pack crisps are a complete joke, even my 12 year old daughter commented about it. They also taste stale, im guessing left over from the day before. Also the way you puff the the bags out to make them look bigger before sealing is obvious. I will no longer be buying your crisps.👋

Most packs of mccoys flame grilled steak are too hard and taste of anything bar what they are meant to taste of

Bought the New epic eats tex-mex flaming fajita, was on offer at asda so bought two multi packs. What a waste on money and time. The only flaming was the writing on the packs. No taste and the ridge crisps were rock hard. Why don't mcoys have an email so you can complain electronically instead of phoning or writing, come on we're in the 21st century now, really?

Reading many of the reviews, I suggest the writers wouldn't recognise a good crisp if they tripped over it
McCoys are superbly a la dente with plenty of flavour, but to be clear, I only buy plain or cheese & onion.

I really don't know what they've done. For years McCoy's used to be my go-to, the Flame Grilled Steak getting me hooked and now Thai Sweet Chicken and the Chip Shop Curry varieties. The flavours aren't as intense as they used to be but are passable. My main gripe is the eating experience. Whether there's been a change to the vegetable oils or the packaging who knows but the quality has become ridiculous, falling between crushing concrete and breaking glass with the occasional actual classic crisp texture. CRISPS are supposed to be crispy not be rock hard. Please change back !

What a pathetic excuse for a packet of crisps. Thought the packet had split open and most had fallen out

They are tasteless now. Save your money and buy a different brand.

Flavour is minimal now, hardly any , these has been my favorite for years , and now its just rubbish quailty for a more expensive product .
Bought 4 multi packs for home, and every packet was just of such poor quailty and no.flavour . What a shame
