Just had another order where only half the food turned up.
As usual almost impossible to contact customer service.
If it wasn't McDonalds I'm sure they would try to improve the service.
Obviously it does not affect their profits or status

Ordered and paid but the delivery driver said he was outside and wasn't. I phoned him and couldn't understand a word he said. Ended up going out in the rain to the store to get my food and still got the order wrong 🤦‍♀️ i definitely won't be using it again.

unreliable, missing items and they won't and don't take responsibility so not only are you left with a incomplete meal, you still have to pay for the complete meal. disgusting service

missing items and they refuse to do anything instead sending a generic message to tell you, it's your loss and deal with it. not to be trusted at all

The app offerings for reward redemption are an absolute JOKE. I get the same thing every day for breakfast...there is NO option for getting that EVER with a reward.

The app is NOT user friendly. It will randomly change my location and is difficult to navigate. It recently required an update. It's worse than ever!

Have only used it a couple of times. Placed order on app at home, go to drive through, open app to provide code and it decides it need updating, so have to sit there while updating and then just comes to main screen with no sign of order I’d placed. Hit reorder as it’s up the top, and had one item I’d ordered with the same number of items assuming it was the one I’d just placed, but of course it was one from a few weeks ago. Deleting app now and won’t use again.

Hate the App.
The setup appears that you can ONLY use via Drive thru - or pick a stall
I like to eat inside.
Not really an option.

McDonalds mobile app. What a load of shite. Have these 'amazing offers', but when i try to redeem them 'computer says no'. As in, 'not available for delivery to your address'. Hang on, the offers are for delivery only!? Absolute shite. Won't be buying from these cowboys again.

Missing items no refunds it’s there policy ? Unhelpful customer services . 3 items missing from our order .. no responsibility was taken . Don’t use this app

Always miss an item or mess up content of a bag.
Used few months ago, when I was craving for Macdonalds, today I tried to order again. I'm NEVER again will be using their app or buying their food.
1. First time I ordered, they didn't put McCrispy burger, do you imagine?? They missed a whole item and they still charged me for it. And I'm unable to complain.
2. I tried to order again today. What they did, they constructed a burger in a way where they put a patty under the burger box making it as a part of a burger! Do you imagine? Box was all covered in sauce it spread in a box ect. this absolutely looked intentional, who would do such a thing? Of course to prank customer and have a gig.
I wouldn't be that mad, if it cost me £15 pounds or similar, but through app it cost me around £50 for couple burger meals and couple chicken tender boxes. And the worst, I can't even raise complaint anything through their app.
Overpriced and inconvenient. NEVER AGAIN.

I placed my order on the app and went to pick it up. Parked in a numbered spot. The app froze so I could not put in my space. I tried resetting. Same thing. I went in to get my order. They said they can't give me anything unless I put in my parking number, that brings up the food order. I showed them the app wasn't working. They said there's nothing they can do yet the credit card payment went through and they took $17 from my account and I got no food. What the H?

Terrible customer service, do not use this app. If they mess up your order you won't be able to rectify it, mcdonalds won't take responsibility. They missed out items on my order but charged me anyway, they refer you to the app to sort out, however it's impossible it has no system in place on the app, you have to go through Uber which wasn't the issue in my case and only paid a half the refund standard practice. Honestly mcdonalds suck, there app sucks. they take your money don't provide the service

I wish I could give no stars! I order a delivery and received incorrect items. Was basically told tough, you won't get a refund (I couldn't eat the item they sent) and that's final. Customer service was not existent

This review is to warn others about getting deliveries through the McDonalds app. McDonalds will take your order and your payment, but as soon as they have handed over the order to Uber for delivery, their responsibility is over. I ordered through the McDonalds app and had an Uber driver deliver it to me. When he handed it over to me, I noticed that the seal was open so I brought this to his attention. He explained in broken english that I needed to sort it out on the app and they will refund me. With that he legged it. I called McDonalds only to be told that once they hand over to Uber, I need to take it up with Uber. Uber dont have a phone support line for orders delivered via the McDonalds app. Instead they only have a chat line I got scripted responses. I detailed my problem and even uploaded an photo of the delivery with the seal open. I was promised that a 'specialized' team would call me to sort out the issue. As I couldnt wait for them, I went down myself to my local McDonalds' and ordered again. I'm glad I didnt wait as its been two days now and no specialized team called me. I went back on the chat again, only to have more scripted responses, promises that I'll be called by a specialized team. When I insisted that I atleast be told when they will contact me, my chats with the team were terminated. So this is a big warning to those of you who are planning to get a delivery using the McDonalds app. I'm sure ordering directly with Uber Eats might be different, and I've had a lot of deliveries from McDonalds which went well, but this is just to say that if it goes wrong like it did on this occasion then you have lost your money and you will not get a refund or even good customer service. Hope this helps someone.

Can't actually belive i have been robbed of 28£ . I ordered from the Mcdonalds app everything was fine untill it was passed to uber for delivery, my whole address changes from basildon to Guildford and when I tried to sort it out I was told I could cancel my order but wouldn't get my money back and to contact the Mcdonalds to sort it out which is a bit hard as the phone is constantly busy I have 3 hungry kids now with no lunch and Guildford Mcdonalds has got my 28£ for nothing im actually fuming
