The whole process of buying my car was exceptional. The salesman even collected me from Exeter station as I was coming from Dorset, nothing was too much trouble. So I have nothing but praise for the company and all the staff were very friendly. Very professional all round.

Did a on line enquiry no one bothered to get back with a price to chance with my car as PX phoned on a Saturday afternoon 31/1/2026 to try and get a response phone continuously ringing out on over five calls!!!! complete waste of time and an embarrassment to the Mercedes brand.

It is a great shame that when you make a telephone call to 01392822700 you get sent round the houses, twice i was put on hold for 2/3 minutes and then the phone line went dead. Not a very good start for M/B.
When i arrived to day the reception was very good, shame about the telephone service.

I recently purchased a new 2025 CLE AMG 53 from Mercedes-Benz South West, and I highly recommend them. From start to finish, the entire process was an absolute breeze. What I appreciated most was his approach; I never once felt pressured into making a decision. He took the time to answer every question and ensured I was comfortable with every aspect of the deal. The dealership itself is top-tier. The handover process was simple, professional, and felt truly special. Seeing the car for the first time, all its glory perfectly presented inside the showroom, was a fantastic touch that made the occasion feel like a real event. I have historically always had good service at the Exeter dealership. The service this time was also good. Mike was very helpful to sort out a headlight bulb issue. I only dropped a star rating because messages left at the online check-in had not got through to the workshop. It's the people that make the experience good, so the trend to move towards non-human contact (self check-in and collection boxes at pickup) are not welcome.

Shakira Hunt was very helpful. Skakira made sure everything was well done, she gave me a good exchange price, dealing with all the issues, changing my private number, the exchange time and anything that occurred.
I am very happy with the new car.

My first experience at Mercedes-Benz South West -Exeter and i have to say the service I had was excellent. Very professional, prompt and good communication.

Mercedes Exeter did two expensive repairs on my GLC both failed. They did repair both, eventually, free of charge however within a few short weeks both repairs failed again causing a breakdown. A local independent Mercedes mechanic was horrified at the very poor workmanship including loose and missing bolts. I complained to Mercedes several times but their response was basically tough luck. Their customer service team treated me with disdain. Thoroughly disgusted with their service. IGNORE THEIR VEHICLE HEALTH CHECKS as clearly they cannot even get that right. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone.

We went into the showrooms with a list of what we needed a vehicle to do and spoke to the team who were extremely helpful. We got the suitable vehicles down to a couple which they let us open/sit/configure as we wanted. We then test drove one of them and purchased it. All throughout the process they were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, polite and courteous. Comparing the experience to other similar brands they were so much better. If you need a vehicle I recommend dropping in and talking to them. You will be pleasantly surprised about how customer focused they are without any hard sell. Overall it was a simple pleasant experience.

This has been the best car buying experience that I have had by far from reception to salesman to delivery. Excellent all round.
