Excellent, seemingly scratch have proof floors!
None of our pets or children have been able to scratch our new wood floors!!
Not only are my floors excellent, but the service was caring and polite and the staff seemed genuinely interested in my satisfaction and well being.

Wonderful experience
Jeff was my salesperson. First of all he was so knowledgable. He knew a lot about hardwood floors and carpeting. Was not pushy! He took his time with us. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My floors look amazing! Jeff is an asset to Mercer Carpet One Floor and Home!

Very Helpful and Knowledgeable
My wife and I shopped around multiple stores looking at different carpets. When we walked into Mercer, Matt immediately helped us. He knows what he is talking about and walked us through the different options, and what the actual differences in the carpets are. They were very responsiveness throughout the whole process and had reasonable prices.

a long distance experience
I needed carpeting in my newly purchased condo in MD before moving in from Ohio. Katlin was extremely helpful, and professional....directed me to a local store to choose carpeting and color, and took care of all of the many details on her end to order, deliver and install on time before the big move.
My daughter in law also worked with Katlin in Md to give access to the condo for the work....and she too was impressed with the workers, the completed product and the speed with which they installed the carpeting.....and we love how it looks!!
A big shout-out to a wonderful team!!

Excellent Service
i called mercer carpet. A representative came to my home at a time convenient to me. She was on-time, courteous and professional. She listened to all of my instructions, and answered all of my questions in a very pleasant manner. When the installers came, they already had my instructions and they did an outstanding job!!

Good Job
Enjoyed working with Mercer. Matt and Jim were very helpful. We appreciate upgrades offered. Installation guys were great. Went the extra mile in making repairs made necessary due to poor workmanship of other installers.

Very Disappointed!
I was very disappointed in the service. The install job on our bathroom was just okay. Mercer never followed up to see if we were satisfied with the job. I will never use Mercer again or recommend them.

Sales and service was excellent but floor installer was somewhat difficult to work with.
Floor installer was somewhat difficult to work with. Always seemed in a rush and spent a lot of time running in and out of the house on the phone. He used the wrong color grout after being question about it and showing the order. Mercer was great about scheduling re-grout with correct color.
I'm not thrilled with the floor tile. It looks wonderful, but seems delicate. Pattern is on surface (doesn't go all the way through tile). Sliding chairs around kitchen table has scraped surface of tile and white under-layer showed through. Mercer was very good about replacing tiles and supplying chair slides. Problem was the chair slides provided were just like the ones I already had on the chair legs. The vinyl/plastic slides seem to get rough/scared by grit/dirt that accumulates on floor and then scratch the tile when chairs are pulled out or pushed under the table. Floor is frequently vacuumed and damp-mopped making it not very easy to maintain. I have since gone to felt pads on chair legs but have to keep replacing them since they don't stay attached very long.
I am completely satisfied with the ceramic tile that was installed on wall above counter top.

We're thrilled that you are enjoying your backsplash and are happy with the service provided by Mercer Floors. When selecting our installers we focus on only working with the most skilled crews including the one who installed your kitchen floor. We are disappointed that you found him difficult to work with but typically receive glowing feedback in regards to his work and professionalism.
Your feedback on the floor also has us disappointed as the Alterna product is a commercial grade floor with a Lifetime Wear Warranty and is typically extremely scratch resistant; sadly, nothing is scratch proof. It also is considered a light maintenance floor depending on the traffic level; typically all that is required is either a dry mop or a vacuum and occasional damp moping or damp rag for deeper cleans and the cleaning of spills. Thank you for providing the feedback on the floor protectors; we will use that and other feedback to tweak our offerings to only provide the best options. And you are absolutely correct, while felt pads are excellent options they typically need to be replaced about once a year due to the collection of dust particles and the reduction in adhesive efficiency over time.

Good Flooring company
We have used Mercer/Carpet One for two flooring jobs in our home. Budget-wise, I believe they are slightly above average. Once the job is scheduled, their installers do a very good job. I am still not enamored with the transition areas from the Hardwoods job we had done, into the carpeted areas. Also, if you have a repair request, they can be a little slow in response.

My only place for flooring
Over the last few years I have had the folks at Mercer do all the flooring in my townhouse--wood, carpet, vinyl. The whole process was painless and the installers were very knowledgeable and professional. When I needed re-stretching on one of the carpet installs, they came back out no questions asked. I learned of Mercer from a friend, and now there is a whole group of us who recommend Mercer when anyone is looking for flooring.

Awesome experience from sales to completion!
We had several areas completed by Mercer Of Ellicott City. They were very helpful in helping us visualize our projects and choose the best products in our price range that fit our design needs. All work was done perfectly and all workers were personable and professional. They worked quickly with minimum disruption and mess. They left the house in perfect condition as well. Hardwood flooring, kitchen tiles and a custom area rug all exceeded expectations.

Mercer does not stand by its warranties.
The carpet we had installed in our great room immediately started to unravel and the ends and at the seam. After several visits, we were told that it was not their fault and would do nothing. We would never shop with them again and would not recommend.

Your original project manager is no longer with Mercers and his departure is what caused a part of the issues that we had with your stair runner project that has since been completely refunded. We attempted to clean up his mistake as best as possible but were not able to assist you like we would have preferred. We would love to hear more about how the original project of the new carpeting on your second floor went. Was that portion of the project satisfactory? Thank you and have a lovely holiday weekend.
Carpet
The carpet in our family room did not hold up at all! We did have Laminate in the large kitchen area that was done perfect. And is wearing perfect ! But the carpet is very crushed
