Great hassle free transaction

I invested 10k for about 5 years with Metfriendly. The returns were not great and I wanted to reinvest elsewhere. Every 3 months I was informed that the NVR would be taken if I was to withdraw and that it should be taken off soon. It never happened! After taking my funds out, I came away with a minimal profit and reinvested it with another company. I wish I had done this sooner as I have made a much higher profit within just a year than I did with the five years at Metfriendly.

Do not invest in this company.
I took out four 20k ISA’s five years ago and they paid out 1.9% it’s rubbish.
Check the Martin Lewis website before investing your hard earned commutation.

I have had a ten year savings plan mature, with appalling rates of interest. There are a number of high street banks with savings accounts that pay circa 4x the rate. I haven't had a statement, repeatedly requesting one. Shop around- premium bonds pay 3x the rate it got. Other better known friendly societies also beat this company. You live and learn !

They've got a good/competitive Bond rate currently. I have Shied away from allot of these work based schemes previously with little or no interest, but as my ISA allowance is used this is offering a reasonable guaranteed return on non-share savings. My only real gripe so far is the lack of any online portal or app to see or check your investments which is really poor in this day and age.
