Attentive, friendly and very professional service

I have been dealing with both James and Georgie in the search for my new home, and have found them very knowledgable and professional.

This is for Carrie at Moordown Dorset. We had a slow start but when we eventually sold our property, Carrie took full control not just with us , all the estate agents and solicitors involved to make everything happen. We can’t thank Carrie enough, for her patience and help.

Our experience with Meyers Estate Agents has been disappointing. There has been a lack of consistency and clear communication between their agents, leaving us feeling out of the loop. It didn’t seem like they followed up on key matters, which was frustrating and unprofessional.

It also felt like their priority was simply to secure the listing at the highest possible value, only to suggest a price drop within two weeks of going live. This approach came across as insincere and poorly planned.

Overall, their communication with us has been subpar and the process has felt disorganized. We expected a far better service overall and have decided to list with another agent.

Finally, when collecting our keys, the team in the office having never met us before didn't ask or check our identification.

We bought a property from Meyer in Broadstone. Becky and Nikki were absolutely amazing, they were so proactive, constantly chasing up solicitors and moving the process through in an expeditious manner. We could not fault them in any way and would definitely recommend them.

I'm perplexed as to how people have rated Meyers and the team as "outstanding" when it was nothing but a horrifying experience letting properties through them. Our first short term let in Christchurch showed us the entire team's inefficiency and then sadly, we had no choice but to go through them again because the next property we wanted to rent was also listed through them. Let's not forget when we were being coerced by George Thornton into choosing a property that was clearly way too small for our family's needs! He was trying to force us into a property that was either owned by a friend of his or somehow he had a vested interest in, even though we repeatedly told him we weren't interested in going through with that property!
When they say a property is managed by them, please everyone BEWARE! That undoubtedly means nothing will ever get done or actioned! We had mould build up in the first short term let due to poor ventilation and extractor fan issues in the property and promptly reported the issue to Meyers to have it looked it. Unfortunately, not only was nothing done but rather, after check out, they tried to blame us for the mould and tried to wrongfully take money out from our deposit by citing that we must not have taken care while showering! I mean what more can be expected of us as tenants other than keeping the bathroom door opened, including the bedroom door and even the bedroom window and all this in the winter! It would be absolutely absurd for them to expect us to now also keep the main door of the property open just to air things out!
The nerve of this company to insinuate that even after everything we did to ensure the property was left in a better condition than we found it in, that we didn't "dust" some of the windows so are now liable to pay for cleaning services EVEN THOUGH we actually received the property in a state where there was dust noted everywhere in the pre-tenancy report!
STEER CLEAR OF THIS AGENCY IF YOU WANT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! GO TO HOUSE & SON OR BERKLEY'S INSTEAD! We had impeccable experiences with them even though sadly we didn't end up renting through them!

If I could give 6 stars I would! After a negative experience with another local agent, Meyers was recommended.
Absolutely first class service. Prompt, efficient, friendly and honest. Claire was an absolute star throughout and regularly went above and beyond what I expected. But everyone we dealt with Meyers was brilliant. Sold my home at full asking price within a week of marketing it. Completed in less than 2 months. Amazing!!

I was sceptical when my sister said, ' I will ask Brad, he will give us an honest answer'. Having dealt with several estate agents over the last few years, that wasn't something I'd say about any of them. During the course of our purchase, however, I was forced to agree with her. He provided a first class service and was refreshing to work with. We would recommend without hesitation.

Great experience as a first time buyer with meyers , carrie was amazing she helped through out the whole process and was always very quick to answer to any queries I had within the process.
Had a bit of trouble with some building regs in the beginning of the buying process and she was great when it came to getting back to me promptly and answering my emails and calls at all times , she was patient , and always more than happy to help me and she just made it a great experience all round ! Spoke to Sam a few times also and he was nothing but helpful and friendly great team at meyers would highly recommend.

We decided to sell and buy with the same agency and everything went smoothly and quick - 3 months in total from our house going live on Rightmove to the completion day.
