Shame on you!!! Nous avons loué un van en direct à…

Nous avons loué un van en direct à l'agence Thl de Perth, et ce van fait partie du parc automobile de Mightylite.Mais qui, de Thl ou de Mighty, est responsable du manque de professionnalisme du personnel dans les bureaux et de l'état déplorable du véhicule. Nous voulions un van où il était possible de passer de la cabine avant à la partie habitable, par l'intérieur. On nous a affirmé que cela serait possible, mais qu'il faudrait attendre 24h avant de récupérer le véhicule, avec de surcroît une augmentation du tarif, puisque le véhicule attribué était pour 4 personnes. Nous ne sommes que 2, mais nous acceptons en toute confiance la nouvelle proposition qui aurait dû remplir les conditions. Or le lendemain, on nous propose un tout petit van sale et fatigué qui ne répond nullement à notre seule et unique demande particulière. Après, bien sûr, c'est le pot de terre contre le pot de fer. La politique de Thl n'est nullement tournée vers le client, avec la satisfaction du client comme priorité. Non, Thl est une machine lucrative qui ne prend pas soin de sa clientèle. Donc, aucun espace de négociation, l'intervention sèche et autoritaire de la manager de l'agence est sans appel. C'est ce van ou rien. Et si c'est rien, aucun remboursement. Aurevoir madame!. Inspection du van : plus de 400000kms pour un moteur essence qui donnera des signes de fatigue pendant notre roadtrip de 2 mois; vaisselle sale, moisissures dans le frigidaire, étagères des placards noires de crasse, traces d'infiltrations d'eau à plusieurs endroits, rideaux sales qu'on lavera, système d'ouverture intérieure de la porte arrière qui ne fonctionne pas, matelas/coussins de 4 cms d'épaisseur, très inconfortable pour dormir. Bref, lâcher 2 mois de location pour être obligée d'accepter un véhicule pareil, quelle honte!!! Je tiens quand même à remercier l'assistance téléphonique qui m'a proposée un interlocuteur dans ma langue quand je les appelé pour un problème de voyants. D'après le mécanicien capable de faire un diagnodtic à distance, le voyant moteur allumé était lié à l'âge du véhicule et n'empêchait pas de rouler. En effet, pas de problème jusqu'au retour. Donc pour en finir, Thl ou Mighty, trés mauvaise expérience que nous ne répéterons pas en Nouvelle Zélande. Entreprise à fuir!

Perth to Darwin road trip

We enjoyed our 4 week road trip. Pick up and drop off went smoothly. However we would like to recommend a more thorough check over between rentals. The hot water heater did not work. The catch on a drawer needed adjustment to stay closed. Two curtain track ends were missing. Those things did not affect our overall experience

Collection delay and poor communication

On day of pickup had to wait 3.5hours, with little to no communication from staff. After asking about the delay we were fed some fabricated excuses about minor damage to the van, and engine light issue etc. I was generally disappointed in the lack of transparency about the delay and obvious stall tactics. We were offered a token half day refund and "cleaning package". Main disappointment was not being told what was going on after waiting for several hours.

5. Broken windscreen wiper needed fixing before we could leave

6/10 for cleanliness

Had to wait for our friends van to be serviced before we could all leave, so a 4 hour delay. To be fair, the guy gave us a free tank of fuel and we didn't have to refill the gas bottle so that was a fair compromise - although it shouldn't have been booked out when they knew it was due to be serviced

Good experience

Good experience, but Mighty is the brand for their oldest campers, so expect lots of noise inside when you're driving (we had to yell at the top of our lungs for the kids to hear us), and broken/ageing bits and pireces throughout the interior. Did the job though.

Drop off experience could be better, pretty manic.

Very bad experience Mighty Campers PERTH

Very disappointing experience with Mighty Campers (Perth – March/April 2026).

We rented a campervan for over two weeks while travelling with our 2.5-year-old child and encountered multiple issues:
• vehicle not properly cleaned at pickup;
• damp child seat from the start;
• major water leak during the trip soaking bedding and personal belongings;
• faulty equipment (kitchen drawer not closing while driving);
• inadequate equipment: hoses too short to empty wastewater in some locations and missing connector to refill fresh water at certain supply points.

These were not minor inconveniences but issues that significantly affected our comfort and the usability of the vehicle.

While the company acknowledged the problems, the compensation offered ($600 AUD) is clearly insufficient compared to the rental cost ($4,832.74 AUD).

We are still willing to resolve this matter amicably and remain open to a fair proposal.

The south-west coast of Australia is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth exploring — just not with this company.

We hope the company will reconsider its position and contact us to find a proper resolution.

They don't explain well all…

They don't explain well all instructions. They want that stay with the van all nights in a camping.
The van and cutlery were dirty.
The day to pick it up was so busy and we were waiting for 3 hours and later we need to change one day.
The location to pick it up without free transportation is far.
Staff friendly but overwhelmed

Terrible support from THL/Mighty Campers after several issues

The camper was handed over to us in an unacceptable condition. It was very dirty at pick‑up, the living‑area battery was almost empty (forcing us to spend our first day searching for a charging point), and the grey‑water tank and sink were blocked. As a result, the kitchen, toilet, and shower were unusable for several days. The plumber who eventually fixed it mentioned he had seen the same issues in many Apollo campervans.
What made the experience even worse was the poor support from THL. Despite multiple calls, it took five days before the issue was resolved. Although we eventually received a partial reimbursement, it required significant time, effort, and persistence on our part.
Based on our experience, we cannot recommend THL.

Bed Bug Nightmare - Replacement Apollo Van

After booking this van over 5 months ago! Paid in full 2 weeks prior to pick up, after being the 2nd person to check in, still had to wait a further 2.5hrs to collect a van. We didn't get the Mighty van, it was replaced by an Apollo. Which ended up having bed bugs. So weekend was terrible! Linen didn't smell clean either. But when your down south 3.5hr from Perth, not much you can do other than try and fix it! But once theyre there, it is hard to get rid of them.
