Great Product Poor Marketing
Milani can compete with any high end make up line in the business. They just aren't over priced and that's what keeps me loyal. However, they repeatedly discontinue products without letting us know. Although your brand is 5 star, please hire some better marketing people and figure out how to keep customers when you're constantly changing.
Keep It Full Maxxx Balmshell Burns
I just purchased a Keep It Full Maxxx Balmshell Lip Plumping Balm at a CVS. IT BURNED MY LIPS! It STUNG and felt like a chemical burn! I had to immediately wipe it off. Total waste of money!! Also, the light pink frost is SO not light pink as on their website. I have always had a problem with Milani's colors on line and the actual color you receive.
Terrible (Non-Existent) Customer Service
I agree with all the other reviewers about Milani Cosmetics' TERRIBLE customer service. I don't have a problem with their products. I ordered online (on a Tuesday) and received an order confirmation email saying they would send another email once the order shipped.
Per their written shipping policy on their website which states "All orders take 2-3 days to process", expected a shipping confirmation email before the end of the week (that gives them Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday AND Friday -- four days). Nothing.
Emailed them the following Monday and said it should have been shipped by now. It's not. Cancel my order. No response. Emailed them AGAIN on Tuesday (now EIGHT DAYS since I placed my order) saying I emailed them yesterday to cancel my order, please immediately cancel order. No response again.
Suddenly I get an email from FedEx saying my shipment is on the way. So instead of LISTENING TO and RESPONDING TO the customer, they suddenly get to work and process my order.
I never did receive ANY response from Milani's customer service, nor did I receive a shipment confirmation email -- only proof that their practices are shady and deceptive.
What companies don't seem to understand is that LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE means LOSS OF BUSINESS and LOSS OF REPEAT CUSTOMERS. It should be a pretty basic understanding of business practices.
I won't ever order from Milani Cosmetics again.

Does not accept any returns except concealer. Received today unopened and they do not accept. Will never do business with this company again. I will say that I needed to read the returns better. Live and Learn for sure. However, a company that does not take individual cases is something to discourage. Poor customer service and business ethics.
Awful quality
Every other review seems to just be about delivery but I bought a Milani eyebrow pomade from boots and the quality is absolutely appalling
Horrible, ineffective customer suport
This review is strictly for their customer support. Bought 3 diff't shades of the concealer to try to find my shade, 2 didn't match, contacted customer support about a refund and it took 2 weeks to get a response. It shouldn't be so difficult to find a match, they should offer swatches. After they responded saying I would get a refund, still haven't received it almost 3 weeks later. To get assistance, you have to continue emailing them, and nothing is EVER resolved. Horrible and ineffective customer support, please don't bother. If you buy, find a local store.
Product never showed up - customer service never replied
Sadly this has to be a one star. Ordered from the website, but it never showed up. Paid £5 for delivery as well. Contacted customer service, they initially responded but have now gone silent. Lost about £22, glad it wasn't more. So be cautious using their website as it won't turn up and customer service won't respond to you.
Carol Akinyi and Sophy Arunda are Horrible
NEVER ORDER ONLINE AND DO NOT EXPECT ANY CUSTOMER CARE FROM Carol Akinyi or Sophy Arunda. When I tell you they got me with a 20% off deal, I applied it to my order waited a week for it, they sent the wrong shade of one of the products. It took a week for their customer care team, Carol Akinyi to respond and when she did she asked for info using internal jargon. I don’t work there, aside from my order information, the correct shade listed on the order sheet sent, also showing on your website what else could you need from me, in much kinder words I asked these questions and sent my reply Jan 18. Imagine my surprise when on Feb 15th, Sophy Arunda responds to that email stating “We having heard from you in a while, let us know if you have any questions”. I immediately replied “ARE YOU KIDDING??, I RESPONDED JAN 18th. Please see the email thread”. Today they have sent a survey. Take my money no matter what I actually wanted.
I bought Conceal + Perfect Blur Out…
I bought Conceal + Perfect Blur Out Smoothing Primer × 1 on the 20th of January as a gift. As for the processing order, they say it takes 2/3 days to prepare and dispatch, which can take around a week. Fair enough. What is not okay from this company is to send you a completely useless link as every time I click it, it keeps saying the order is not valid or does not exist. Not only do they take your money, but they also keep customers in the dark. The customer buys for a pretty bad business, so keeping them informed is not that hard. I emailed them regarding this issue on the 6th of February, and they replied on the 11th with a new tracking number, and it worked this time. I received the item on the 15th of February; despite being in the UK and sending it from Los Angeles, it does not seem to take too long to reach the buyer. The business keeps the money, and they take their sweet time to send it, that is the only issue with them. I do not care if it takes 1, 2 or 6 weeks; keep your customer aware of any delays. Work on your customer service skills.
I never got my order.
I paid for an order on 1/14/25 and have never received the order. I received a tracking number but, USPS stated that they were still waiting for the package. I don’t even believe Milani sent my order out to be delivered to me. It has been over a month and I have not received my order. I have contacted Milani’s customer service and no response.
Milani has gone down hill
Milani has gone down hill. Great eyeliner but customer service is terrible and won't help me after several attempts to get my order. Placed order Jan 14. Never got package. Tracking only says 'pre-shipment" . They then said they'd send a replacement. I asked for the tracking number for the replacement order and it's been over a week and no one is answering me now. I've sent 3 more messages and no response. My next move is to contact my credit card. I'm waiting one more day.

Just keep getting automated emails with promise of a response and it's been days and days now.

I love their conceal+perfect powder but I recently ordered another and when I received the product it ended up being a completely different product. I have reached out to them a few times and have yet to receive any sort of email back.

This must be a joke or something. I placed my order on the 2nd of December now it’s the 19th and I haven’t received any updates ???????!!!!!!! I wrote an email to the customer service team 4 days ago and still no reply. I want a full refund I am highly disappointed and disgusted by how you take peoples money and just disappear.
Don’t bother ordering direct, use a stockist
Ordered on 8th August, apparently dispatched on 16th August but the tracking link was broken. Had to message a few times to even get a response. Eventually got me a “new” tracking link on 10th September which never even received any updates. Weeks and weeks of chasing after this as there were no updates, I got Klarna involved and they finally get back to me stating the order was “lost in transit” offering a refund on 30th October. Got my refund through on 2nd November and to my surprise, they had the audacity to not refund me the shipping cost. Again had to chase for this as I am not expected to pay shipping for an order that was clearly never sent out to me. No replies until I got Klarna involved again, but finally refunded me the shipping cost the day after.
Three months, no tracking updates, clearly no parcel ever sent out, and poor responses. Terrible customer service. Shame because the cosmetics are good. Won’t be ordering again.
Milani foundation.
I love the Milani conceal and perfect powder foundation! It's rare for me to find a close match to my skin shade, plus it lasts pretty well through the day. I recently scanned it with Yuka app too and it came out as excellent, so I'm very happy with it!
Victim blaming company
Milani participated in the victim blaming of woman who was abused and raped, making memes about that to promote their terrible makeup. I tell all my friends to avoid this evil brand.
I love Milani products
I love Milani products. I usually order from Milani during the Summer and Black Friday because from my experience, that's when they have the best deals. I recently ordered from Milani for Cyber Monday and received the order in less than 7 days. I imagine they're completing a crazy amount of orders.
I have never experienced any leaking from packaging. My favorite products to order are their concealers and setting spray :).
This is a really good company
This is a really good company! It has quality products. It has stylish products. It was worth buying from this company.
