Really helpful advice from Phil when buying my son hiking shoes

Phil was amazing helping out with our D of E purchases - so knowledgeable and helpful.

We came in looking for walking boots/shoes for my wife that she could use on small hikes but also in day to day walking. We were promptly helped by a gentlemen named Phil who was nothing short of amazing with his service, communication and adaptability in helping to find the right shoes for my wife who has a disability and trouble with walking comfortably. Not only did he recommend what would work he also discouraged what wouldn't work in order to keep her as comfortable as possible and it didn't feel like he was trying to force a sale like some shops would. My wife was undecided and wasn't forced to purchase them and was encouraged to think on it and come back later in the day.

We did come back and consequently bought the shoes, we also had my son measured and fitted with a lovely pair of hiking boots and again Phil was amazing with him and made him feel comfortable during the whole fitting.

I do not often leave reviews but the service was impeccable without feeling forced into a sale and employees like Phil are a true credit to the brand and the experience that we had today. Thanks again, we will absolutely be coming back soon.

I can’t thank Tracey and Phil enough for their help buying walking shoes for my husband and daughter. Tracey was incredibly helpful and Phil’s knowledge of the best shoes to buy for their foot shape and size was astounding. My husband and daughter are overjoyed and are the proud owners of the best walking boots and shoes they have ever had. Phil even stayed late to make sure their fitting was perfect. It was very much appreciated. Needless to say, I will be visiting the Eastbourne store next month for my own pair of walking boots. I can’t recommend Tracey and especially Phil enough. I really can’t remember the last time we have had such excellent customer service. Millets should be proud.

I wasn’t setting out specifically for hiking boots, just a good set of boots for work that were waterproof for the walk to it now we are coming into winter seasons. The gentleman that served me was Phil and For the first time since I was a child he properly measured my feet and helped me find the right shoes. I have always had a problem due to wideness and the shape of my feet. He gave me some great advice and showed me the shoes that were right for me in my price range and if I could have afforded more the higher priced ones, but obviously if I could have brought the higher priced once’s I would. I will definitely be going back for boots again also the lady at the till was very polite as well but I didn’t catch her name.

Phil was a great help, he saw me looking at the boots and stepped in to offer his advice and tips on boot longevity. He really considered the job the boots would be doing and the best candidates to suit it. He took the time to explain to me the pros and cons of each and was generous with his time.

We went to Mille for our last minute shopping for our son that just joining the Cubs. The staff member ( Phil) of Millet store in Eastbourne were super helpful. He was resourceful and guided us on which equipment to choose for our son. His help made our last minute and limited time shopping quite successful. We couldn’t get only one item as the size needed was out of stock.
