Millets - Eastbourne レビュー 

Unable to make a warranty return on some leaking boots because the shop in Eastbourne has closed down. The online Portal does not include any information about warranties or returns outside the initial 28 days. The query form seems to be automated AI ? as the replies are not relevant to my query, despite trying again to explain and then just receiving a 'how did we do?' survey which just irritates more. No option to email direct - just 'no reply' email is returned. Poor customer service. I will be buying my next pair of boots from a different supplier.

I was recommended to come here and see Phil for new walking boots. It's so nice to have experts employed rather than your usual sales staff trying to sell you the most expensive equipment they can - whether it's suitable or not!

I was served by Lauren at Eastbourne . She was a real help and she knew her products well. It’s the second time she has now helped me and both times she was friendly , and knowledgeable . First time she helped me with hiking stoves and water filters. Second time was walking trousers and boots.

A previous customer of Millets had suggested I go in and see Phil regarding getting new boots and I was not disappointed. His knowledge was fantastic and he was more than happy to spend the time to make sure I got the perfect fit and right material for my needs.
I highly recommend this shop, and Phil, for your active footwear needs.

The staff in Millets are always helpful and friendly. Jason was very patient with my friend and myself and was happy to share his experience with actually using the products and advise us without pressuring us to buy

So after going into a few other outdoors store and not getting a warm welcoming, I didn’t have much hope that here would be any better. But how different it was, Phil was incredibly helpful, gave me loads of information and tips. Gave me great advice on what to feel for when seeing what hiking boots I should choose and didn’t go by getting me to pick the most expensive either. I’d recommend them to people I know and will go back again just because of this 1 man and his time, experience and kindness and honesty. 10/10 service!!

I'm going to do a trek across the Sahara Desert. I was recommended by someone that the Manager Phil in Millets is really good. I was extremely impressed with the service. He was very knowledgeable. He fitted me with the right boots for my trip . He measured my feet properly and even got me to practice walking down the slope in the boots. He helped choose the right sleeping bag. He shared his experiences too which was nice . He was very polite and friendly and nothing was too much bother. He's staff team were just as friendly and helpful.

Great service despite the fire alarms being tested. The assistant made sure I had considered every option and could not do enough to be of service

Excellent service from professional people. Alison helped us to but some walking shoes today. She was patient and really informative and took care to ensure we got the right product. Very happy!

Phil the manager and Alison gave excellent service. I have a disability and they helped me out of my boots and back into them after trying on some walking shoes. I successfully purchased a pair of walking shoes.

Came into the Eastbourne store today to buy a backpack and hiking boots for my daughter. We were served by Phil who was incredibly helpful, showing my daughter how to fit her backpack, and offering advice on the types of boots available.

Phil has a wealth of knowledge about the footwear they sell and what would be suitable for each individual customer. Nothing was too much trouble, he knows his stuff and works hard to make sure you get the boots that work for you... with NO hard sell!
I won't be going anywhere else for my boots in the future.

Alison was amazing today with my son, she made great recommendations. She let us take our time in trying on the shoes and she gave lots of explanations for each types of boot/shoe. Very patient, kind and knowledgeable. Thank you Alison for a great shopping experience with an indecisive teenager! He is more than happy with his purchase. Lovely lady, highly recommend!
