Millets - Fareham レビュー 

Although Millets did not stock my first choice item the staff were friendly and helpful and I was able to purchase a satisfactory alternative.

On Thursday I had the most incredible experience with the Fareham team.
My 6 year old even commented on how he “loved that shop” when I asked why he said it was because the people were so lovely.

The staff had reserved a tent for us without question and then upon arrival were so welcoming.

Lauren went above and beyond for us and I couldn’t recommend her anymore.
Her service was exceptional

I went in looking for some walking boots and the service was fantastic, the information (provided by Lauren) was highly useful in helping me choose. Nothing was too much trouble (and believe me there was plenty of trips to the stock room). At no point did I feel I was being up sold to a price point and the benefits of each boot (and their respective warranties) were fully explained.

Went in for walking shoes, the staff member was excellent brought down lots of choices was patient didn't feel like we were being rushed.

I'd been wanting to buy a Leatherman multitool for some time, but given their relatively high cost had been holding back until I could see one and test a few in my hand. I'd been to two other stores (not Millets) and both had no demo models due to 'knife risk' policies or having no open box stock.
The store manager at Fareham was clearly aware of the risk as he talked me through the policy on locking blade multi tools, but given my age and user case was able to demonstrate 3 models to me to help me not only find which model had all the right attachments, but felt right in hand and weight. There was never any way I was going to consider spending over £100 on a tool I couldn't touch, so his balanced approach and demonstration won the sale where the 2 previous retailers had lost out.
Overall it was one of the best retail experiences I've had in a long time, it's rare these days to walk into a store for an impulse purchase and to be able to walk away with the item on the day. So overall very happy with the service and transaction as the manager was informed, considerate and listened to the user case to help get me to the right product.
If more stores performed like this the high street might be in a better state; keep up the good work. We'll definitely return to this store.

Purchased a new pair of walking boots today and the assistant Lauren was extremely helpful. Very knowledgeable about the products and also how and when to treat them.
Looked at buying a second, different pair for the winter and although I didn't buy them today, I will return at the end of the summer to purchase as I am confident they are the right ones for what I need.
Also talked about other garments and again, Lauren definitely knew her stuff.
Felt no sales pressure at all and every question was answered.
Very pleased with my purchase and the service.

The assistant was extremely informative on the product. He stayed with us the whole time giving valuable information about the boots. We felt looked after and valued.

Excellent customer service from young woman ( sorry no name on receipt) at Fareham Millets when buying my waterproof parka.

I needed a waterproof jacket to replace my existing 10 year old Berghaus. Megan was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions with patience and good humour and I bought a replacement Berghaus. I cannot fault the customer service in this shop and wouldn't hesitate to shop here in future.

Thank you for being so patient Owen while I tried a lot of shoes on in your busy shop. Found the perfect pair of Merrell shoes in the end.
